I would like to sincerely apologize to Metro Air Conditioning Services for the negative review I mistakenly posted. I confused them with another company-Willard Air Conditioning-who had subcontracted my A/C installation to a different provider.
Metro Air Conditioning actually came to my home back in July to service my old A/C system, and they did an EXCELLENT job! They were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire visit.
I truly regret not using Metro Air Conditioning for my new A/C installation. I'm confident that had I chosen them, I would have been treated with integrity and respect-and certainly not taken advantage of.
I highly recommend Metro Air Conditioning for any of your A/C needs. They've earned my trust, and I gladly give them 5 stars!

Called in and was able to make an appointment that week.

Brandon come out and was very knowledgeable. One of my systems wasn't operating correctly. A lesser tech would have just thought I need to add feon. Brandon checked the condenser inside and found a half burned birthday balloon in the housing.

This company is awesome! I have used the for the past 10 + years and I am still satisfied! They are very professional from customer service to technician and reasonably priced. Sedrick came out and took care of my heating issue and was in and out in 20 min. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very respectful. Metro Air has a standard of excellence they operate by. The owner and management staff always follow up to ensure our issue was solved correctly. Kind and courteous. Got the old units out and the new ones in and working. It took about 4 hours. The installers put down cloth tarps to keep my carpet clean. At the end of the install, they cleaned up their "mess" and made sure the new A/C and heater were working. I definitely recommend Metro Air Conditioning & Services.

I'm so happy I found a black owned AC and Heating company that fulfilled my needs. I am a signed up member, monthly, and really appreciate how they reach out to me when serving and half year tune-ups are due, sometimes. Keep up the great work, and how much I appreciate, as a member, receiving calls or messages for service appointments. Some backend works still needs to be focused on for members. Oh, I had a zone control unit installed. I have a small 2 story home, but the upstairs was getting too hot; heat rises, after all. There were hiccups in the beginning, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome. You can trust Metro Air Conditioning and Heating with your home air and heating needs.

I used Metro Air Conditioning Heating & Services 25 years ago and had an amazing experience then and since.. because my current Trane Heat Pump system they installed 25 years ago was quite aged, I decided to be proactive and replace now instead of the heat of summer or dead of winter... They just installed this week and did an amazing job again!! all were very courteous and professional from Chester who came to look at the house and layout of what we currently had to what units were most suited for our layout.. We were able to have a team come out in less than a week to install all components, etc. The team we had - and excuse me if I miss any of Rene', Ivan, and 2 others that I forgot their names, were most friendly, professional and had the entire job done in one day ... thank you very much and hope that this unit gives me the years of dependability that I have grown to love about Trane and Metro ..

Been with Metro for many years, they are wonderful people and always take care of me.

I've been using Metro Air so long, I've actually forgotten when. However what is the most memorable is the staff. My air went out around 04:00. I called the after hours line, they answered quickly and ensure I would get a phone call first thing in the morning.
Right past 07:00 I received a return call, insuring someone would be out around 08:30. This followed with a text stating the techs name and timeframe of his arrival.
Not only this tech, but all techs that has been to my home has gone above what I expected.
One year they replaced everything in the home. These guys were so enjoyable, laughing, making me feel like they were my own sons.
The tech today (Sedrick) went over everything, explaining the problem, the solution, price, etc...
He fixed the issue within a quick time frame, gave me a senior citizens discount, checked everything on the inside, and outside.
I've never found a company that really cares.
Years ago we paid by check and somehow they never received it so my wife called to report it. Weeks later they called asking me to stop by so gave could write me check for reporting the error.

Metro A/C recently replaced my HVAC. I was very pleased with their service; Mr Larry who gave me the estimate and follow through, Mr Hector and his team for laying down tarps, a speedy installation and clean up, also Ms Rochelle who always seem to have a smile in her voice. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and will continue to use them for anything concerning my HVAC.

I've used Metro twice, and my issues were resolved very fast and at a reasonable price during both visits. I will definitely use Metro for future maintenance and repair work on my HVAC.

Many Pros, 1 Con: After nearly 17 years, we were in the market for a new H-Vac system. We shopped around all the well known local companies before deciding on Metro Air Conditioning Heating. Chazz & their staff were knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy & were NOT pushy salespeople. They did a great job listening to our needs & helping us identify the proper AC solutions to not just replace the old system but make improvements to the airduct routings and returns to balance out the airflow throughout our home --which means no more hot rooms that aren't cooling! The best part, they did all this without the astronomical pricing of many of their competitors. The install crew were all very approachable and tried to keep things clean. That said, the only negative was we did have to clean up all the dust that pushed through the vents & settled after the new system turned on --BUT this likely is Not personal to Metro AC but rather happens when the new more powerful system blows out any dust that previously settled in the airducts. Definitely would recommend Metro AC!

Metro Air returned our cold air. The technicians Eder & Hector did a wonderful job replacing our coil unit. We don't allow outside shoes in our home. Plus it was pouring rain outside.
The men laid down floor coverings from the front door to the closet unit. To minimize tracking in dirt, mud and rain into our home.
They replaced broken unit and cleaned up everything in about 2.5-3 hrs.
Air unit works beautifully.
Would and have recommended Metro Air.
And will continue to use this company for my Heating & Air needs.

Our ac went out late last night. We thought it was just hot from the cooking and extra body heat with company but nothing we did was helping. Our last ac got retired so having to look for a new one was not fun. I called this morning after finding them online and they came out sooner than originally expected! Chaz was great! Found the problem right away and was able to fix it and for a lot less than i was expecting! It was 86 and climbing in my house when he finished and it's already dropped 3 degrees in about 15 minutes!

My air conditioning was not working and I spoke to Rochelle and she had someone out there that day, They were able to fix my air conditioning and it was a very reasonable rate. I am very happy with them and will use them for all my air conditioning and heating needs.

I use them every year & I stick with the same tech. Love him.
(The one time I deviated, I was a little disappointed. The man was very nice, and professional, just not as knowledgeable as my guy.)

This is one of the best companies around, at least that I’ve worked with! My unit went down and just a day short of the coming winter storm, they sent someone out and got the job done ASAP. Let me just say, even having to deal with no AC in the middle of summer, working with Larry and metro AC made the experience as pleasant as it could be. We were struggling to find a major leak in our unit for a couple weeks and Larry made sure to always take care of us. He even ended up filling us up with coolant the day before 4th July just so we wouldn’t be hot, knowing he couldn’t see us until after the holiday. Great company! Great owner! So glad we have them to rely on.

Had an area in the office that was not getting any airflow. Ron Johnson came out and told me what he would do to get it fixed, and not only kept adding services and upcharges. Started at $700, then ended up at $1300 after taxes. I asked him, will this fix the problem, he said it was be cold and the coldest area and this will take care of it all for you. Turned out that it didn't fix the problem. We called them back out, now all of a sudden he finds other issues, that are keeping it from getting cold. Now he wants to charge me another $1100.00 Not happy with the quality of work, and feel like I was lied to directly to my face. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

Appreciated the timeliness and ability to get my AC fixed. Pretty frustrated that they changed pricing for the diagnostic. Diagnostic was an additional $150 over what I was originally told. I was able to get them to refund $100 of the overcharge. This is on top of the $200 diagnostic charge (with ladder) that I agreed to and all of the charges to fix the units.

There is a young man on the team. His name is Mr Smith.He is accurate in the diagnosis and repair of the problem. He repaired this old unit fast and we are up and running again. This company is amazing and led by Godly leadership. Very professional and well manered employees.very courteous and helpful.

Man I am Glad that real people still exist and provide quality service. It's cold outside and now my heater is working fine. I came home and it was broken knowing it was late and was expecting a after hours extremely high bill. He got my heating problem fixed and now we can sleep in peace and warmth. Ron came out and fixed our heating system quickly and efficiently. From my initial call, to the update I got from the company stating that our technician was on the way, to the service we received in our home- every encounter was excellent. They were awesome. They removed our ac unit from our mobile home. They work on mobile homes about the only company that will. And did it the week of Christmas. They were there when they said they would be and were efficient in getting the work done.

Good evening to anyone who may read this review I called in a desperate need due to my 86 year old mother air stopped working out of the blue . I spoke with Mr Dewayne who promptly worked to get a tech out to my mom's house and mr larry dubose cane and Promptly fixed the problem. Excellent and prompt service and mr dubose spotted the problem just as quick as he came he knew what was wrong

I called them out for an Advertisement of $69.00 check-up. when the service tech arrived he said the refridgerant was low and that we had a small leak. We were told they couldn't add R22 knowing it had a leak and finding the leak could cost as much as $2000. So they went straight into the A/C sell pitch and tried to sell us a $12,000 system. so all we got for $69.00 was a freon check and a A/C sales man. We called another company and was up and running for less than $200.

Every interaction I had with Metro was excellent. From my initial call, all the follows up to the technician. Devorian Harris came within 30 minutes of my appointment window. Was able to diagnose the problem within minutes and had my unit blowing cool in about 30 minutes. My wife and I called Lowe's, and Home Depot along with Metro Air Conditioning. Lowe's and Home Depot gave us Higher quotes with lower quality equipment being installed then Metro so we decided to choose Metro for the install. The woman that we spoke with throughout the service procedure "Rachel" along with the installers were all highly professional and timely! The company (Metro) arrived immediately. They completed their research, did their review, waited for us to make a determination and once we made our selection Metro was here the Next Day! We have a Brand new house that was constructed last year. Metro installed a higher quality air conditioning system than the system that came with the home which is amazing to me. We are impressed with and thankful for Metro Air Conditioning!! We would definitely recommend Metro Air Conditioning Heating and Services as a provider of Great Services for the work that they do!

Devorian arrived on time and got right to work on my AC. He was professional, polite, and personable—explained everything that was wrong and how he was going to repair it, as well as gave a price breakdown for everything before getting started on the actual repairs, so that I could decide if I wanted to go forward or not. I didn’t catch the name of the dispatcher, but she was also kind and professional, and answered all of my questions very patiently. AC repair is always expensive but I feel that Metro was fairly priced and worth it for the quality and professionalism. I would 100% use them again in the future, and have already recommended them to two neighbors who are having AC issues as well. If it’s important to you (it is to me) Metro is Black owned and operated.

I'm so glad that I found this company! Amazing customer service! We needed assistance with our AC on a Saturday night and they were out within hours of our call. Larry fixed our AC until we could get the replacement part on Monday and thanks to him we didn't have to turn off our AC in the Texas summer. I first want to note that their customer service is EXCELLENT which is a rarity these days with most transactions happening online. I purchased a new unit from Metro Air Conditioning last year and one year later (almost to the date) it started short cycling.... Come to find out, it wasn't the unit at all! After several trips to my home, trying different tactics to resolve the strange short cycling issue, their master tech Larry managed to isolate the problem and get the unit back up and running. Turns out I have a totally unrelated problem with my drainage system that was causing the AC to back up and shut off. (I needed a plumber not an AC repairman) Best part is that Larry showed me how to maintain the system myself so as to prevent it from backing up in the future, which will save me $$ in the long run. Great service.

I had to use them again (Metro Air Conditioning) for a inside unit that needed to be replaced, not only did they work with me on the cost, they made sure they got the work done the same day. Everyone from the operators , technician to the installers did an awesome job. Very professional, I'm not surprised. I had a wonderful experience with the techs from Metro. The techs took the time to explain the issue with our AC and what they were doing to fix it. Additionally, the techs helped us find an electrician to fix the issues discovered during the visit. The techs were knowledgeable, on time and courteous.

I called and they came to my house on short notice to fix a zone control issue. I got a new board and it was installed within a day. I love the service that they give and very polite technicians.

I called this place around 6 in the evening last night. It’s late July, so I figured they would be busy and put us out a day or two just like the other 2 AC companies I called the day before. I was surprised to see that a very professional secretary answered phone at that hour. One of the first things she asked was if we were without air and when I answered “yes” she said they would do their best to fit us in that evening. About 30 mins later she called back and left a message stating that they would be at my home within the hour. My son had taken my phone to another room so I missed her two calls that were 15 minutes apart. I thought this was note worthy bc most companies won’t call twice. A technician came to our home and in an hour he replaced the wire that kept our unit from functioning. Furthermore, he gave my husband advice on the yearly cleaning our unit needs in order to stay in shape. Don’t waste your time looking for any other AC company these are your guys!

I cannot recall the name of the lady that dispatched Larry to my house when my AC stopped working but I talked to her at 9 am and she was still working when I called back at 8 pm to check the status of my repairs. She made sure that a technician got over to my house that day.

Larry did a fantastic job on my AC unit. He came by on his way home from work and made sure that I had AC in these hot Texas summer days. He checked the entire HVAC before finding the cause for my unit not working. He ran down the price for fixing it before making repairs. He fixed it and waited till the unit started cooling again.

Called for an appointment on Friday (not an emergency) had Ron out the Saturday morning. Office staff is amazing, polite and professional. We had to call several times to arrange schedule because of a funeral. They were helpful and again so polite! We needed a new unit and it was installed the same day. Ron and installation crew were great. We’ve used several other companies and these guys are top notch.
