U-FIX-IT Appliance Parts in Dallas

My parents were having issues with their electric stove range and when I contacted the manufacturer, they were of little help and wanted to immediately send a service technician out without even asking any probing questions as to what troubleshooting steps we had already tried.

My dad then remembered a place he went to before and was told to go to U-Fix-It as they had supplies that would most likely fix the stove.

When they arrived, two employees helped them to get the parts and supplies they needed to fix the stove themselves and the stove is now working with no issues.

The employees were very courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning should we need any supplies in the future. Thank you again!!!

This was the 1st time ever coming into the store. I was very surprised at the sevice & expertise given. I had a oven element go out and brought it in to get a replacement. Without telling Angel the model of my oven, he said we've got it in stock. The store was clean & well organized. I was in & out with my part within 10 minutes!

The gentleman that I spoke to was very kind and helpful and gave me some good advice. Even though it didn't result in immediate business for them, I will definitely return in the future. As a customer service professional myself, things like that are investments in the long run and not something you see every day now. Thank you for the help, person whose name I don't remember! You gained a customer for the future.

The associates were so helpful, friendly, understanding and nice. It was refreshing to get such great customer service and knowledgeable help! I went in to get a heating coil for my dryer that wouldn't heat up anymore they let me know it could be that or the thermostat. I couldn't unhook the wires at home so I brought the whole dryer 5 minutes before closing on a Friday. They tested the parts and let me know it was the thermostat which was cheaper than the heating coil. He even gave me tips on how to remove the part and it was so easy! To fix your dryer for less than $40 yourself makes you feel so good and powerful!!!! Thank you guys!

2 weeks waiting for a part no one call me or nothing , went to store and found that the order was canceled or not ordered, of course they charged me first.

I went in get a high voltage diode for my maytag microwave. I installed it but the oven is still humming loud and not heating. There was only one man behind the counter but helpful.

My Trane fan motor was going out on me, making all kind of crazy noises. So, I removed it just to discover that it's nearly impossible to find a reasonably priced replacement for my XB10.

So a buddy recommended U FIX IT, & I'm so glad he did. They were super helpful in finding a replacement motor (universal) with my bolt pattern & they even went as far as to explain the process for wiring a universal motor.

What can I say but.... AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

An awesome place

Called in not knowing what I was looking for. Within 5 minutes Joshua has walked me through finding the model number of the appliance, and had narrowed down the part I needed.

I Found the south Dallas store to be closer. I called and Joshua answered the phone again. When I arrived at the store a few minutes later, they already had the part on hold. The gentleman at the counter looked at my old part, showed me where it was messed up. He then offered both the factory replacement and generic replacement. He showed me the differences between the two. I made my purchase and returned home.

Having worked in customer service for the last 14 years. It has been a long while since I have experienced service like this! I will definitely be back.

They have most of the parts i needed, most of the time I went.

Put in an order on december 27 2018 on a motherboard and it was the wrong order part.i gave showed them the picture of the washer and the model number and the part i needed and they still got it wrong with the picture and model number and i even told them what part was it.

This place is fantastic!!! So helpful friendly staff! Hopefully I don't have too many break downs, but when I do I'm a customer for life!

Their return policy is wrong and unfair they don’t inform you of the policy at the time of purchase. When you go to return it, they till you it’s right here on the on the back of the receipt. By that time, IT’S TOO LATE BECAUSE YOU DON’T SEE YOUR RECEIPT UNTIL AFTER YOU PAY FOR IT.

Guy in a blue shirt is the rudest of all and he wont even let you explain about the part you need. All he knows is we dont carrier that or we dont have it without even looking on the computer rude like. Nobody's else

After getting burned by the AC guy, I've been keeping the unit alive with the help of these guys. I've saved hundreds of dollars over the years in AC & appliance repairs. You have to do some homework first and know what manufacturer/model you're fixing; and they can get you what you need. Professional grade tools and parts are now available to the jack of all trades.

Chris provided my wife and I with a superior customer experience. We had been debating whether to buy a new clothes dryer and decided to under take the repair ourselves. Chris tested our defective parts and provided new parts as well as suggestions to make the repairs easier. We did it and our drier is back in service! The repair saved us $185.00. This was our fifth experience with U-Fix-It and if the need arises it will not be our last.

Air conditioner stopped working. Needed new capacitor. Home Depot doesn't carry them and sent me to U-Fix-It. U-Fix- It had part. I was in and out in a flash. Capacitor is installed and I am cool again. (Store is in what looks like an old Home Depot when you enter off Westmoreland).

Knowledgeable staff, got exactly what I needed to fix my dryer saved myself at least $100 in labor, definitely recommend.

I called U-FIX-IT because of a refrigerator problem. I made a non professional diagnosis and was ready to buy the part I was sure I needed. I talked with one of your technicians over the phone he asked me to check a couple of things.I was wrong and I was awfully glad I called. Jim one of your techs saved me time and money. I've used U Fix It numerous times over the years - stove, fridge, etc. Great service and very knowledgeable. On some parts for my fridge, they walked me thru what I would need to do for installation. These guys are great. Prices are very, very reasonable and you will save a ton by doing it yourself instead of a repairman. Highly recommend.

Their return policy is absolutely a rip-off. The part was defective but they did not believe me and they flat out refused to give me a refund besides having the receipt and the original packaging. I will drive several miles up the freeway just to avoid this place in the future.

These guys were just awesome. I drove around other locations of U Fix It based on poor reviews. I called these guys ahead of time. They helped me troubleshoot the issue with my dryer, and then helped me diagnose the exact nature of my problem. I walked away with the right part, the first time. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience.
