I stopped by the showroom to purchase a new fridge today just as there were guys outside removing the old Capital Distributing sign. I parked in the parking lot and when I went in I was met by Paula, who handed me off to a salesman. As soon as the salesman and I began talking, I got a phone call that resulted in me needing to leave. I didn’t see the salesman anywhere, so I just left.
When I tried to leave, another truck helping to remove the sign had the only exit blocked. I had to wait in the parking lot for at least 25 minutes for them to be finished. As I was waiting, the salesman walked out and by my car. I rolled my window down and told him this is ridiculous and you just lost my business. He told me to drive over the curb to get out and yelled that he may work there but that I couldn’t talk to him that way.
These people knew I was about to get stuck in that parking lot and should have told me that I needed to move my car.
I can't believe I hadn't been here already!
Talk about one of the most expansive showrooms around. There were so many beautiful vignettes showcasing all the best lines. I will definitely be bringing my clients back in the future!
There was something in every category to see, high end appliances, light fixtures, soaking tubs, plumbing fixtures, outdoor grilling, oh my!

We ordered a Kitchen Aide oven/microwave combination on February 22nd. We were told tt will take about 3 weeks for the unit to come in. The service men came to install the unit on March 14th. When they unbox it, they tell us the glass on the microwave door is broken so they install the unit and take the microwave door with the broken glass with them but the microwave is non-operational without the door. They come out a week later to install the new microwave door and they asked if the installers left the screws to install the door. No, they did not leave the screws so the screws need to be ordered. After another week they come out to again install the door with the new screws and we are told it cannot be installed because they don’t have the handle. So another week goes by and they come out on April 9th to install the microwave door with the new screws and handle and the installer tells us that they ordered the wrong door. So I put a call to the salesman and the General Manager, Haley to tell them where with are with no microwave and leave a message. So it is now, April 10th, almost a month after we are supposed to have a working oven/microwave unit and the microwave is still not working. And I have not heard back from either the salesman or the General Manager. Is this how a professional organization operates and treats their customer?
Appliances…Plumbing…Lighting! With the one and only RYAN MARTIN, who knows his industry like the back of his hand! Purchased all kitchen appliances with lots of extras! Ice machine, outdoor grill, washer and dryer, too many extras at a major discount from all other appliance stores. This showroom is definitely the place to shop and Ryan has all the answers! Now I have time to hit the gym!
Warning! I purchased a very expensive WOLF brand double oven. Hasn't worked in over 2 months. Instead of providing good customer service by replacing the unit with one that works they keep sending repair people who attempt to repair it, unsuccessfully! Moved in to the new house in November and couldn't prepare Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners! Then, the Subzero wine cooler started rattling and once again their attempt to repair it failed! Now, it's February and still No working oven and rattling wine cooler...basically paid $1,000's for a pieces of bad appliances and terrible customer service!
Very diverse appliances for the majority although there were a few items in the untouchable (my limited budget) price range. Of course, a single trip is generally insufficient because the salespersons provide bountiful web links for the customers to do more homework.
The other fact that was refreshing was the honest opinion from the salesperson - no bait-and-switch, no upsell just common sense advice and extreme patience with even uninformed questions by yours truly.
Joyce Rambo is the BEST!!! Joyce was very detailed oriented and considerate of my needs. Throughout the process I felt very comfortable with my selection. I was given multiple options with a spreadsheet to compare and contract. I will recommend Joyce to all my friends and family.
I purchased an outdoor built in grill with cabinets. In addition I renovated my entire kitchen with the help of Joyce.

The show room is enormous with so many products at display. Riley was helpful and gave me a good quote much below anywhere for my 48" profile GE fridge (price for Subzero was also good). They also did built-in installation with reasonable extra fee. Installation team was 4 people and professional, properly protected my hard floors from 800 lbs of load and used a special dolly. Everything went smooth.

This is most often my first choice for appliances. The prices are within reason, delivery is smooth. Salespersons are helpful.

Once you purchase from them ( and we spent quite a bit with all new Bertazoni rangetop, Monogram Ovens and warming drawer, and Refrigerator/ Freezer columns; as well as a KitchenAide Refrigerator/ Freezer drawers with ice maker) and they install, forget about getting responsive customer service.
There was one issue early on and that got taken care of; now, on 2 other issues, it’s radio silence from our sales rep, Ferguson (installer) and other 3rd party repair they set up.

What a great company to work with! Got the best price available even online on my oven, helpful and knowledgeable saleswoman, Renee West. As well, I wasn’t ready for it yet, so they held it for me. I then got two prompt calls ( on the day I asked her to call back) fromJulie Suratt to set up my delivery. Delivery was set for the next day. I received a text when the delivery truck was 11 minutes away! It was so helpful as I had an appointment I was able to adjust so my workday was not interrupted. And lastly, I wish I had gotten the names of the men that delivered my oven. They were fast and SO helpful making it fit where I wanted it. Thanks for everything!
Communication with this group in all of the years of owning high end appliances was the absolute worst. Every month they said (after we paid in full) that our appliances were coming. COVID became the excuse for the first four months, then staff turnover and guess what still never received our appliances in full. I would not recommend this group to anyone building or remodeling a high end kitchen.
Have purchased appliances for our new home 16 years ago, a cottage we built 5 years ago & our remodel this year. They are amazing. Michele Holmes did a great job of helping us choose the appliances & during a difficult time to get things, she was on top of everything. The installation team is amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Haley was fantastic every step of the way. We are renovating a newly-purchased vacation home in a city in another state. She coordinated with a local Ferguson showroom for our contractor to pick up breakable items. Haley shipped the rest of the items directly to our contractor. Everything arrived ahead of schedule and in one piece! Even our contractor was impressed! I can’t say enough good things about Haley. She’s very responsive to email and phone calls. I am remodeling my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Haley helped with all the plumbing fixtures (faucets/sink/garbage disposal/shower fixtures, etc ). She totally knows her inventory and is helpful in offering her expert opinion when I asked for guidance. It can be overwhelming but Haley helped in making it manageable. My interior designer and I visited together and told Haley of the projects we were doing. Haley was professional and attentive to customer service in her response that day and in following up with me with the quote and getting the order placed and delivered on time!!

I've been shopping here for over 30 years and can't imagine buying my appliances anywhere else. Customer service is the best you will find anywhere and they stand behind everything they sell. Worst service ever. Sales rep refused to discuss certain brands they sell and I was interested in because she personally didnt like them. Most unhelpful. Why people come here is a mystery.
If u are a millionaire with tens of thousands in the crevices of your couches that you dont need, shop here. You will not find the major name brands here like maytag, LG, frigidaire, GE, etc. This is beyond high end and set up for the specific clientele who dont look at price tags. If you dont need the money, I could use it. I will even come get it out of your couch.
Amazing merchandise! Top name brands, high quality, great service. The showroom is beautiful, adorned by all of the latest and greatest, most current, technologically advanced major kitchen appliances. Greated with warm, home baked ( or showroom floor models baked) cookies that fill the air with a sweet aroma that entices you to come in and take your time to browse. The sales staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. They can answer any questions you may have. Our whole experience here was positive and fun.

Took a while to get a salesperson, but there were others in the store. I get it. But when my wife asks questions about a $4k oven and you look at me and start talking... Nah. She's the cook and the CFO... And makes more than I do. Ed Kellum didn't treat her like that. Might be why we dropped $6k there instead of here.

We were delighted with the professional delivery of our new Electrolux washer and dryer. They were very customer centric in the way they handled the removal and new installation, keeping things clean, carefully avoiding any damage to the walls or doors, balancing the equipment, testing, and most courteous throughout.

I have had the best experience purchasing appliances with capital, Jessica called after my purchase and prior to install to insure I was ready, the agreed morning the installers called with confirmation of a time, showed as scheduled, they were prepared, installed quickly, couldn'y go any smoother. Super company!
Our experience -- from the showroom to coordinating delivery to installation was excellent! Everyone was incredibly responsive and helpful. Special kudos go to Jessica who was amazing (and very patient!) in helping to schedule our delivery (and then helping us reschedule it twice when our project got delayed). I would no doubt use Capital Distributing again!
