Elliott's Hardware in Dallas

I went to Elliott’s for the first time today. After hours of looking for specific hardware I went to this place, it took me no more than 10 minutes to check out. Amazing customer service! Shout out to Megan! She provided one of the best customer experiences I have had.
Let’s take care of people who are really interested in helping us as customers. The cashier was also sweet and helpful, I will definitely come back to this place. If I could give 10 stars I would do it. Once again, shout out to Megan and the whole team, you guys made me feel great.

I was having problems finding some hinges that would match my new handles for my cabinets. Elliot’s was recommended and so that is the reason for my visit. When I entered the store a young woman asked if she could help (sorry I don’t remember her name) and I explained why I was there. She immediately took me to the aisle where hinges are stocked and checked a few. She then radioed for another employee who was the store’s expert on everything and they both selected the hinge that would work. I was thrilled. The customer service I experienced was wonderful and they should be commended.

I stepped in to buy a few screws and nuts subject to in-store advice for a school project (my machine shop experience and knowledge are equivalent to a single grain of sand on any modest beach). The teller warmly greeted me and directed me to Rick who proceeded to take me to the famous Elliott storage aisle where size measurements do not require guesswork. After a few questions he narrowed down my requirements to a few select items. All that was needed from me was the length. Then he took me to another aisle for a mounting plate. As far as I was concerned - mission accomplished in the shortest possible time.

I do not understand why customers do not take advantage of the expertise available here without having to wait for abnormally long times at the larger stores. Elliott will save you time AND money.

I’ve come to Elliot’s repeatedly even though larger stores are just a bit closer. Reason being, they not only always have the parts I need, but make it easy to return and exchange things. I had to come in a few times for one or two very specific screws, and the staff has always gotten me the right screw on the first try.

Love the happy and smiling faces at Elliot’s, so thankful to have such a well run smaller store in Dallas

After running around like a chicken with his head cut off and not finding what I needed at the big name stores, I remembered a helpful employee at Elliott’s. Sure enough, the hardware I needed was in stock. So this is for the helpful man named Aaron. Thank you guys for helping me get my trailer up and running again!

Within 7 minutes I was out the door with the hardware on my hand. The BEST CUSTOMER Service I have ever experienced. Walked through the door immediately asked from an associate how they could help and he took me to the items. Purchased them and on my way I went. I will DEFINITELY return.

Nice change from big box stores. Less variety but more high quality selections. Helpful employees, and clean store.

I have shopped here for numerous items after moving into my new home in the neighborhood. But when I returned an item this morning, I was greeted by a Very Rude bearded guy, as if I had to replace it upon return! So rude, I will most likely NEVER return!
He is the reason Amazon will be my choice for Lawn items from now on!!!!

Elliot's is the only place where I can get Mohawk fine furniture paint products, highly recommend it

Couldn’t fine the link to do a store review, Anyways I want to appraise your enployee Aaron he went about and beyond to help me find a fitter and adapter for my cold air intake for my truck. I lost hope when I was browsing auto parts stores and came here to see but wasn’t to sure but didn’t hurt to try. this man deserves a raise or a big bonus.

Ms Renee, I tell ya.. I gotta give it to her. Jobs nerf employees like her. Very knowledgeable and product knowledgeable. When I say I came in simply looking then grabbed a rake. The paint aisle caught my eye as I’ve been planning on painting the garage anyways. I had about a minute to look by myself not even knowing what I’m looking for and Ms Renee can’t over asked how to help and I told her I was thinking about paining my garage and what color and from there it went. She was so detailed in explaining to the point I was confident in my decision. Even after seeing the little block of a color tab I wanted, she showed me more options to choose from like I love that because I decided on my first color choice but I also was presented different colors too to job my mind . It don’t stop there. My husband— love grape and root beer sodas. He asked her what’s the difference. When I say it blew my mind how knowledgeable she was about the drinks too. He was like a kid in the candy store from that point on. Definitely will shop again and hopefully she’s there. She definitely needs a bonus or something. You don’t get good customer service like that no more. She make the store and the company look good . First time shopping at Elliot’s ever and will continue from now on . And of course my husband will be back for the drinks 🥴

I rarely leave reviews but Elliott's deserves it. The customer service is unmatched and I always feel like I came to the right place when I'm there.

I found a cabinet latch that I had to piece together but no one in the store ever approached me to offer help. Not what Elliott's hardware used to be. They were known for their customer service. Not this time.

The store has that wonderful feel of local community combined with an impressive selection (on view) in their Hardware PLUS section! Love how this area particularly is curated and isn't overwhelming but rather helpful in weeding out and in what you really like!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Excellent customer service, professional, attention to detail, extremely knowledgeable, responsive and beyond patient with my questions.

Gotta love Elliott's Hardware. Smaller hardware store similar to Ace. They have a wide range of items that the big box hardware does nor. Things are easier to find because they actully have attendants that help you and are readily available. I was asked when entering the store if I needed help, I was directed right to where I needed to be to find what I was looking for. Check out was fast, no lines to wait in. Highly recommend this place and will be returning.

Greg Allen went above and beyond in assisting me. I called ahead looking for an item. When I arrived he helped me load the large items in my vehicle and I was away in short order.

They have so many things that other hardware stores do not, plus their personnel is top notch with a can do attitude. When you are stuck, go there as you have a better chance at a positive outcome.

You cannot beat Elliot's for customer service or product availability. Sadly, I do not do the majority of my hardware shopping here as they are far too expensive to be a regular haunt. BUT, when you need something you cannot find at any of the big box stores, these folks will likely have it! And one of their friendly and knowledgeable staff will be all to happy to lead you right to it! I really appreciate the good old fashioned service offered at Elliot's! Reminds me of when I was a kid and Lowe's or Home Depot were not even around. I hope they are able to be around for decades to come.

As I entered the doorway I was greeted by three employees. I was shocked that they actually smiled and and asked if they could help me. I told them what I needed and they all three were ready to help, not with verbal directions to the location of my own but literally guided me personally to the item. I expected the employ to leave at that point but he stayed, gave me information about each of several selections of the product plus went one step further to show me a possible"best" buy for my need. He stayed with me, answering more questions until I made my decision. Being that I am in the retail business I consider this to be"WORLD CLASS SERVICE." Keep up the good work! You really ARE making a difference! Thank you!!!

My wife recently purchased a XL Big Green Egg grill with a stand from the Casa Linda Elliotts. The grill is great, but we were unhappy with the stand. We decided to revisit the store to purchase a different nest system and return the original stand. The Elliott employee said we were unable to return the stand, but would gladly sell me another nest system. When we asked why Elliott’s would not accept the return, he said it was sold as a kit. The value of the stand was around $200 and we were willing to make a purchase totaling around $600-$700. This didn’t make good business sense to me, but I was not going to argue with the guy. Plus, he was pretty short and firm with his decision. I fully support small businesses, but Elliotts will no longer get any of our business. We will drive a little further for better customer service.

They had everything I needed to do minor household repairs.

Amazing store.

I walked in & the guy @ the front asked if he could help me. I asked for finish nails, he said "I don't know" & pointed to the back. I started walking up & down isles looking. A female offered to help & I again asked for finish nails & she said " we don't carry them". I questioned how a hardware store can't carry them & then described them. She then pointed me to a 1lb box. I asked for smaller packages & she pointed me to a couple of packages of the smallest nails I've ever seen! It was time to leave, I'm sure if I would have continued to look I would have found what I wanted, but their employees should have been able to help me.

Went in to check for a pressure guage for a pressure cooker. It was in stock. Gentleman that helped her was very helpful. Store was laid out great, staff was following Covid guidelines.

First time coming in and buying something. Needed a key made. The guy who made my key was very nice. Very professional. Held some small talk while he made my key too. I feel like I heard his name was Robert? Not sure. Older guy. Was very nice. Everything was awesome until I got to the cashier to pay. This guy was very rude. He was standing on one side of the cash register so I went to that side and even though he saw me walk all the way up he rudely said you’ll have to go to the other side this one is closed. So I walk back around and there was no talk during the process. The cashier is the last person to make a good impression for your business. At the end he tossed the receipt on the counter and I left. Younger guy curly hair no name tag. He is the reason this wasn’t a 5 star visit.

Love a good hardware store and this is one.

I haven’t come to Elliott’s often because their stock of chicken feed is low when I check it, but today I found out that my usual store is still requiring me to wear a face mask even with no mandate. All throughout this past year, I have worn a mask because I thought the policy in place fining the business for my non-compliance was unfair to the business. So today on our first day with no mask mandate, I am pleased to see that Elliott’s did not require my being masked. I was the only person in the store unmasked, which is how it should be, everyone’s individual choice based on their own comfort level.

I planned to buy 5 bags of layer feed, but only 1 was in stock, so I purchased a bag of scratch and chick feed just to reward this store for wanting my business.

Since I buy a lot of chicken feed, Elliott’s will see me a lot more often!

This place is great ! No one else had what I needed and they did ! Staff was super helpful and extremely nice well worth the 20 min drive. I will be back.

Great location with a nice selection of hardware and tools. Just moved to the area and stopped here as it the closet hardware store to my new home and it was happy with the service. I was greeted as I entered and helped to find the right items for my project. All staff had masks and we're helpful, very well kept and organized location
