I want to give a special thanks to Jose from Surplus Warehouse in Dallas. He went above and beyond to help us bring our kitchen vision to life. Jose took the time to show us different design options, always keeping our ideas and preferences in mind. He was incredibly mindful of our budget, helping us find the perfect design without compromising on quality. His kindness, friendliness, and professional expertise truly stood out. Jose deserves the highest recognition, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Elizabeth in the Design Center has been exceptionally helpful throughout our remodel process. From selecting cabinets, countertops and tile to even advising us on appliances! — we are so appreciative of her efforts and would highly recommend working with her to anyone remodeling their homes.

I bought a signed edition of Misery from this place only to discover someone named “jimmy bowling” sold me a fake Stephen King signature. Charged me $800. I have the signed authenticity letter from this guy. Once I had it looked at by numerous Stephen king experts all said this was a fake signature.

If you are wanting a kitchen design, you are in great hands. Elizabeth knows her stuff and will shoot you straight. Have had a great business relationship for nearly a decade and have always had great service from her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great selection of home remodeling fixtures and features. Decent selection of granite. Great selection of bathroom and kitchen hardware. Lots of sinks, doors (inside, out and gated), filing, decorative brick, marble bassinets, showers modules, and bath tubs. I liked the modern fixtures selection at lower prices that the chains. Didn't see too many seconds (all high quality, from what I saw) but it is a good name.

As a builder and remodeler Seconds and Surplus on Regal has been an invaluable asset. In particular the kitchen and bath designer Elizabeth makes this daunting part of every job as painless and streamlined as possible. She will sit with and design the layout of every cabinet, show options and renderings to make sure everything works and flows perfectly. Good luck with that kind of service at other suppliers. The selections, options, price, and lead times are what got us to use S&S but Elizabeth is what stops us from going anywhere else.

Came here looking for unfinished cabinets. Prices were high on those even compared to the typical big box store. However, while browsing the rest of the store they do have a quite large selection of doors, tubs and granite. Prices on those items were much more competitive. There were a lot of employees working but no one approached me asking if I needed any help. It was one of the “rare” August sun 90 degree days but the store was still very hot. Overall a good place if you are looking for some kitchen and bath items or countertops.

In today’s environment more unhappy customers tend to take the time to leave negative reviews then they do when happy. As for me, when dealing with the associates at Seconds & Surplus every interaction was professional and pleasant.

My husband and I recently completed the build of our new home and purchased several items from Seconds & Surplus. We purchased two double iron doors, tile for our guest home, and the handles for both doors etc. After installation I had a few concerns and reached out, an associate answered the phone and said the manager was on break, but they would forward those concerns to him so that he could call me back. Honestly, I was going to hold my breath as it usually would take several days to get a call back when calling a business about a concern however when calling Seconds and Surplus the manager, Cordell called me within a few hours. He took the time to listen to my concerns and showed a genuine interest in what I had to say. He asked that he reach out later in the week as he needed to find out what he could do for me.

He promptly reached out a few days later with a resolution to my issues. Shortly after speaking to him Mr. Williams, the Regional Vice President reached out via email. He was very professional and even took the time to send me some links on one of the rare concerns I had. I was very shocked and pleased that someone in his position took the time to not only apologize for those few minor concerns but take a moment out of his day to make sure they were all taken care of.

Purchased 3 Cabinets and the store gave me the wrong sizes.
Now charging me to correct the issue. This not good business.

They sold me broken prehung doors. Refuse to replace or refund the items. Run from buying from these folks.

I pickup a door here a few weeks back. It was a good price and a really good door. When I first got to the warehouse the employees treated me like they wanted me to go away, because loading a door in my Jeep was not easy. But Jose Sanchez came over, asked me if I needed help, helped me solve my issues, and worked with me to get it out the door. He also used his own personal tools to get the job done. I cannot commend him enough. He is a great example for you company.

I received a high level of quality customer service from Elizabeth. I went in scrambled but was guided every step of the way with choices of quality cabinetry, countertops, and designs. This made a major impact on my project as it was in the raw, and I needed a total service. When I say Elizabeth went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, that is exactly what she did. I am not only sold on the Dallas Regal Row Seconds and Surplus Design Center, but I also wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone and everyone about them. Not to mention my cabinets and countertops look AMAZING!

Lazy staff. On 2.1.2024 @2:00 I walked into the show room looking for a 8 foot steel front door. At no point did anyone from the lazy staff speak or ask if I needed any assistance. I even walked to the sale counter for assistant. Two men where playing on their phone while one guy was working. Granted there were only two customers in the showroom....

The installation person does not communicate well

I do all my shopping online. It works for me, specially because I feel like I have my own personal assistant at the store. Norma is great! She is friendly, knowledgeable and I love her input; she refers me to what will work best for any of my projects. Thank you again Norma, you are the BEST!

We had an absolutely stellar experience purchasing our new front door at Seconds and Surplus. I can't express enough how much I appreciate the assistance I received from Jesus and Natalie.

Jesus was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the sea of choices with remarkable expertise. His insights about the material, design, and durability of the doors were truly enlightening. His advice was instrumental in helping us choose the perfect front door for our home.

Meanwhile, Natalie was a godsend. Her assistance throughout the purchase was second to none. She was attentive, patient, and incredibly supportive, ensuring that our experience was smooth and stress-free.

There was a bit of a hiccup with our new door, however the manager Moses was quick to resolve the issue and make it right.

Elizabeth at the Dallas location is one of the best cabinets designers ever. She's knowledgeable, patient, and REAL. Whenever I need cabinets and design she's my go too!

Stopped by today. Joe was very helpful. I ended up cutting my finger while there. The front desk attendant was SO kind and helpful. She not only got me a bandaid but hydrogen peroxide to clean my cut. Super kind and helpful crew. Thanks y'all!!!

Came in store to look at some cabinets for my kitchen to get some ideas and was told they could help design the layout. I have been waiting for someone to assist me for several days now. I have called several of times to see if someone can help but they will say they are busy and will find someone to assist.
Sent an email out to Jeff with measurements and what was asked with still no response. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Denton location is AMAZING ! We had the pleasure of working with Derek S. We came in and had zero expectations of finding what we wanted or getting help. I asked for some help and he went above and beyond for us. Walked the whole store with us trying to find the best match for all that we needed. Gave us quotes, helped load tile, pick out samples and took his time with us and we never felt rushed! He even called me a week later to follow up and check in. Very cool! This will for sure be our store from now on! Great job!!

I came to store pickup 5 box of tile regal row Dallas store there credit cards not working make one hour wait I asked them take cash first they say no we can’t take cash after five minutes they say bring cash after I paid still waiting for 5 box of tile waste almost 1 hour for 5 box tiles still waiting last 25 minutes

Love my new kitchen and countertops! My installers were very quick and clean. When I redo my bathrooms I know I’ll come back to the Dallas location! Amy and Alexis in the install office are rockstars!

Terrible customer service and totally inaccurate delivery estimates. I ordered 7 interior doors on April 4th. The main two reasons why I went with Seconds and Surplus over Lowes or Home Depot is #1 price and #2 because when I placed my online order they indicated that it would only take between 10-14 days to fulfill the order. At that time Lowes and Home Depot had expected delivery TO MY HOUSE by May 4-6th. S&S could not deliver to my house in Austin but for the price and speed of the order I decided I would drive to Dallas to pick them up. After about 20 days I had not receive any communication about my doors. I called and spoke with someone who said they weren't on the last truck and trucks come in every Tuesday, so I waited until the next Tuesday. Still had not received a single communication or apology about my doors being delayed. I called again and they still had not arrived in Dallas. It is now May 4th, basically a month since I placed my order and literally when Home Depot or Lowes was expecting delivery to my house if I had ordered from them, so I called again, still receiving no communication form S&S. Today I was able to find out the expected delivery date is not until Mid June. They quoted me 10-14 days and it's going to end up being 75+ days before I receive my order. Pathetic! I will likely amend this review up to 2 or 3 stars if I do eventually get my doors and if I like the quality of the product because the price was very fair. However, the experience up until now is completely unacceptable.

Was promised delivery by a certain date. Confirmed that product was there and was told yes. Arrived and they couldn’t find it. I wasted my time, gas, had to reschedule my contractor and they were very unorganized and give false info multiple times

We purchased a few items for 3 house projects. We thought let's buy it together and finance it to make it easier on us since we are doing it ourselves and it takes time. The day finally came where we needed the cabinet we bought 2 months ago. To our surprise it's broken and so we called and asked for a replacement, they told us too bad so sad they won't help us. First when we walked in and applied they were all so friendly and helpful "we can do that for you mam" "thank you for choosing us" and now when we actually need them, useless. First and last time I purchase here.

They're a pretty cool place. I have a lot of really Nifty home decor items that one might find rather Exquisite. If you are the customer that is picking up for yourself, then you're going to enjoy the experience. If you are a delivery company then expect the unnecessary long delay well they try to find you order. Hard thing about pick up is you are not able to call ahead and have them ready with your item when you show up. I also recommend loading it yourself and not one of the employees

My boyfriend and I live in Oklahoma and are redoing our kitchen. We've had a very difficult time finding unfinished in-stock cabinets or custom built cabinets at a reasonable price. We ran across the Seconds and Surplus website in our efforts and it has been a saving grace. The website was very easy to navigate and I greatly appreciate that their website shows pictures AND in-stock quantities. Once I filled my cart with all the cabinets we need for our project I called the Dallas location to verify they had quantities and inquire about their return policy (just in case). My call was answered immediately with a live person (so rare these days). I didn't catch her name but the lady I spoke with was very personable and reassured me that they will make sure I am completely satisfied with my purchase or refund it. She even gave me the name of the associate who would be pulling my order so I could ask for her directly once I arrive at the store to pick up my order. Very impressed with the online sales team and customer service and looking forward to picking up our new cabinets tomorrow.

It is so much more expensive than both lowes and home depot and their products are only mediocre.They make you think its a discount store but that is just not true. Don't waste your time.

I tried to deal with Home Depot and Lowes for my tile project for my house, i was not treated very well by both ie talked down to and generally a attitude of just get the stuff and move on. Just received our cabinets (white shaker) and we could not be happier!

Do not order kitchen cabinets from Lori. They will not take into account all the measurements needed, and then when a single cabinet (that was over $1000) does not fit as requested they will not do anything to correct the issue at hand. Two months later and we still do not have a completed kitchen since they ignore phone calls and do not take accountability for their part.

In addition, they cabinets got shipped to the wrong address. Then when they shipped them to our home we were missing 4 cabinets that had to ship at a later date. Very unorganized, unprofessional business that does not take accountability for any of the problems they caused.

Obviously, I wanted a lot of bells and whistles with these cabinets and Elizabeth was able to get me exactly what I wanted and in the ballpark of my husband's budget. Amazing customer service! I had a warranty claim issue with a door, and the manager fixed it the same day instead of making me wait months for a replacement part. Seconds and Surplus took care of me as a customer, immediately recognized that I couldn't wait a month or more for warranty work and replaced the incorrect parts. Thanks to Bashir and all the guys there who helped me succeed in my home renovation project!

Great experience and selection, highly recommend checking it out for any remodel or house project. Much more affordable than Home Depot/Lowes. It was our first time visiting the warehouse and Adam was extremely helpful in helping us find a single vanity and sink top. They even have a closeout section where items are 50% off for small bumps, chips, etc. Everyone was very nice and helpful, we will be back!

Very happy with our granite counters and especially with the install team. Alexis worked with us to coordinate two separate projects. She was very helpful in explaining the pricing and how we could save with various options. We were on a time schedule and she helped us through so it was done on time.

Corina and the guys that came for the install were very professional, cut the slab outside so we had no mess and they were very understanding when we had an issue with the valve on our sink that needed to be handled while they were there.

Norma and Jesus were attentive and made my trip to Dallas (from Weatherford) worth every dime. I'm not a fan. There was no help to answer pressing questions. Most employees just walked past. Don't mind a "no pressure environment". But again not my cup of tea!

I purchased lavatory faucets from the Dallas location over 2 years ago. I need parts and Huntington Brass requires a copy of the receipt (not just a photo of the product like many other companies). I called the store and Jeremy was amazing and was able to send me a copy of my receipt within minutes! Great customer service!!

Great quality work and had a positive experience working with Sheila Ford, the installation coordinator. She reached out to us after their was some initial confusion while at their warehouse and was able to straighten things out quickly and get our project back on track and on schedule. She even recommended a better option in terms of materials for our project and followed it thru the process. I attribute her project management skills and her experienced team to our successful installation of some gorgeous quartz counter tops!

I'm a Seconds N Surplus at Regal Row fan! They know their customers! I have gone to the other locations and this one is my absolute favorite!!

On Sunday, April 9th, we went to Seconds and Surplus and met with JR. He saw us looking rather confused in the plumbing section and came right up to us to offer his assistance. JR had sooooo much information, it was terrific! He helped us with toilets, shower panels, glass barn door enclosures for the shower, and both interior and exterior doors! He was very thoughtful and extremely helpful, we will definitely go there again.

I have redone my entire kitchen using their products myself granite,cabinets,flooring,doors. I am now doing tile in the rest of my house and will continue to use them !!!! Wonderful customer service

The folks at S&S have been awesome to work with on our latest house. We gutted the place to the studs, so we needed just about everything from kitchen cabinets (custom designed in-house by one of their designers) to doors, vanities, showers, tile, etc.

My sincere "Thanks" to everyone there from the store manager, to the guys who are kind enough to load/unload this old man's truck!

I just bought 18 pre-hung Interior doors & handles today for an upgrade I'm doing to my home and I was very pleased with the prices. I shopped several stores to compare prices and I couldn't find cheaper doors in the style I wanted anywhere.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

I would recommend using Second & Surplus Design team for any cabinet in a home or office. In 2012 and 2013 Jennifer helped me design 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen remodel. After 4 years I don’t say I wish I didn’t this or that. I’m 200% satisfied. I put lots of time into thinking about the layout and how each cabinet and drawer would be used. Then Jennifer asked me to take inventory of the kitchen items and identify the cabinet or drawer where each item would be stored. I was not pleased to do this process but today I’m glad I made the effort. From this exercise we refined the layout of the kitchen. Jennifer paid attention to every detail to insure a fantastic looking kitchen and bathrooms that I will enjoy forever.

I shopped a lot for cabinets and counter-top. I could not find anyone who could beat Seconds & Surplus. Quality, price everything. Jennifer at the Regal Row store designed our kitchen. A service that Seconds offers for no additional cost. She is AWESOME. She loves what she does and it shows. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but so much fun and sweet to work with.

Great prices on building materials for new construction or remodel projects. Love the kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, sinks, and tile we ordered. The only complaint I can make is that one of the tile manufacturers wasn't aware the order had been placed through Seconds & Surplus. We had to drive about 45 minutes away three different times because the order slipped through the cracks. Overall, lovely experience shopping there and the sales associates are very friendly and helpful.

They have great products at a great price, but do your research, some places can compete depending on the product you're looking for. All in all, very happy with what they've helped me out with. I'll stay a customer.

I love this place, it's really a one stop and shop place for everything I need to design kitchens and bathrooms. It was an instant relationship with several employees. Everyone of them are very helpful and continue to be the reason I keep going there!

Service and quality products

Great price on unfinished wood cabinets. Not the fastest or friendliest service but worth the wait.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Do your homework if you want to save some money. Don't buy seconds for roofing, decking or lumber. too important. The doors, windows, tubs, toilets, paint, flooring and other stuff can be a good deal if you do your homework.
Staff is actually nice and helpful.
I'll go back.
