Bedrock Foundation Repair recently completed work on our home’s backyard patio slab that was settling and causing a decorative brick wall to tilt. Several companies quoted, both big and small, offering solutions from the over-the-top for our needs to straight forward and simple. We choose the latter with Bedrock because of their decades of experience and cost.
Dennis Rials (Owner), Burns (Production Manager), and their team were professional, efficient, and with an innate knowledge of how to remedy our issue. They installed installed six concrete block piers under the patio slab grade beam and then pressure grouted with a soil/cement slurry, leveling the slab and bring the wall to plumb.

We live in an old home circa early 1900s. We had a couple firms look at our foundation. Bedrock identified some serious issues and showed us what was going on. They replaced rotted beams, installed piers to stabilize everything, and leveled the house. Our foreman, Saul, kept us informed during the process and alerted us to a broken drain pipe we didn’t know about. They left everything cleaned up and in good shape. I would recommend their service without hesitation.

First project was at my townhouse where they installed sump pumps to prevent the basements of our 4-plex from flooding. They also discovered what was leaking in my basement and removed the front door entry steps, replaced the gutter pipe that was cracked and rebuilt the steps. It was a big job! Then when I moved, they added a storage room under my deck which involved removing dirt 18" deep, then poured a slab, etc. Also did all kinds of work in the large crawl space under the house, including making the airflow better.

They come on time and finish in no time. I had my front porch lifted...no more standing water and I had foundation work done under a wall that kept cracking. I had Bedrock Foundation repair my foundation recently. The owner, Dennis Rials was very attentive and his workers were very courteous.
Dennis even had a ramp built at my porch because I am disabled.

Bedrock Foundation has mitigated many drainage and foundation issues in several areas of not only our first, but also on our second home. It required substantial work to prevent serious flooding, natural drainage on the property, and reinforcement to parts of the foundation that were prone to sink. The owner Dennis is very personable, and easy to communicate with. The extent his crew went to to make our first home watertight went above and beyond the call of duty, and to this day, even though we have moved, that clever and labor intensive solution has kept the basement of our old house bone dry for over 11 or so years. No easy task for a basement in Texas. I know this because my daughter now lives there. Thanks Dennis to you and your crew for all the hard work.

Run from this company! They quoted $2000 for the work then when we receive the bill it was $5000. We are already having issues with the work that was done and it has not even been two months later. I had a terrible experience with Bedrock Foundations. From the beginning, the customer service was awful—rude and completely unhelpful when I raised concerns. The quality of their work was far below my expectations, with multiple issues that still haven’t been fixed despite my complaints. It felt like they didn’t care about providing a decent service, and their lack of professionalism is shocking. I hope they take steps to improve, but as it stands, I cannot recommend their services to anyone.

Very happy with the work performed by Bedrock Foundation crew. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. The structure is very old and had many unknown issues that Bedrock took in stride without covering us up in additional costs. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, and respectful. The best part of working with this company is that they came right away to give an estimate and stuck to the price in the end and came on the day they said they would. There were a number of things that went wrong along the way that reduced my confidence and satisfaction - five to be exact. I don't want to go into detail, as I told them what they are. There are many well-reputed companies out there, and I wish I had gone with another. Time will tell if the Bedrock work helps my home or not.

They came out to our home, that we are trying to sell, and told us and the potential buyers that the house needed 10 piers. The guy literally walked around our home with a level, and took zero measurements. We then had a more reputable company come over and tell us that the house is perfectly level by TAKING MEASUREMENTS and now we are stuck in a war with buyers, because they put the thought in their head. All we need is to place some dirt in a few areas.

DO NOT even try to use this company. They have in their contract that if you make claims against them, you are in breach of contract. Wonder why they feel the need to do this??

They also state that they may mess things up further, but that they are not liable.

So now we are dealing with major conflict because of this company.

Find someone that will measure, give you a blueprint and a plan!! NOT this company!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A FOUNDATION COMPANY EVER!!
In real estate, I have plenty of experience with foundation companies. We bought a house which has the Bedrock 10 year warranty. Has taken months for them to even come look at house. After months of no response, Dennis the owner, refused to go under the house to look at the piers because he didn't want to get dirty. Two months later he finally calls an said he will come by. I reminded him of the issue. All we were asking is for someone could check and make sure the piers haven't moved or need an adjustment. We had another specialist under the house who noticed that the piers looked strange to him and suggested us to get them looked at before we cover the holes up. To check the piers where the holes are dug would take 5 min to check. The second time the owner came out he again refused to look under the house, failed to inspect anything. He told me nothing was wrong and never actually looked at anything... I have him on camera. He was so rude so unprofessional.

I didn't actually utilize this business for what most people have used them for, but I still used them. We had a free parking coupon for the State Fair of Texas at Bedrock Foundation Repair. The man working the parking lot was extremely sweet & the dogs. omg. what could I say about the dogs, except they were the absolute sweetest! one of the brown vizla's just came right up to me & I couldn't resist petting her/him. honestly, I could've just melted & she/he looked so disappointed I had to leave. their dogs were very mellow, well behaved, so I don't think you have much to worry about when parking/visiting the grounds.

I would be very cautious of this company. They provided a bid on some foundation work recently. They recommended 13 piers while all the other companies recommended at least 25. We even had an independent engineer come out and we showed him the different bids. He said Bedrocks bid was "a joke" and "would do nothing to help".

Id think twice before letting them do any work on your house.

We had a great experience with Bedrock Foundation getting beams replaced and our house leveled. The crew was extremely polite and hard-working, and the crew leader was very communicative and responsive to our requests and concerns (wearing masks/gloves/booties). The office staff was great to deal with as well, would recommend this company if you need foundation work done!

This company came out and installed a french drain with a pump for standing water at my driveway and house. I advised the crew that the way they were installing the drains wouldn't work because the dirt would wash into the drain. They came back out and put some rocks around the drain. Again, I knew this wouldn't work! I spoke with Dan Hill and informed him of the continuing problems and he told me to buy more rocks and they would come back and add more rocks. (This picture i posted is what it looks like after a rain) He never followed up with me or returned my numerous phone calls to correct the mess they had made. Fast forward a year and a half later, the drain has standing water and the pump is not draining the water out. Now, I've got to spend thousands of dollars to correct their shoddy work. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I had a dozen or so piers installed about 2 years ago. I have a few things that just weren't done properly to be able to give them more than 2 stars.

1) I was told my bushes would be removed with very large root balls to make sure they survived. The bushes were replaced in different locations (no longer aligned with my windows) and every single one immediately died. When I removed them I found they left no more than 8" of roots for 36"-48" diameter bushes.

2) I was told numerous times the piers would be installed and leveled at the same time to make sure the house wasn't tweaked by jacking one spot before another. I watched and this did not happen. Each pier was done individually, causing loud pops to be heard in the house and sheetrock cracks to worsen. I asked about it and was told "It's okay, just trust the guys. They know what they're doing."

3) About a week after the work was done, I had a sprinkler system leak right along the foundation. They came out and fixed it. About a month later I got another leak a few feet down from the 1st repair, which they didn't want to admit they caused, but they fixed it. About a year later I had another river coming from about 15' down the same line along the front of the house. I called Bedrock and was told it had been too long, that it couldn't be from their work...and it wasn't covered. I understand it had been a year, but clearly this was going to be their fault. I dug it up and was dumbfounded by what I found. The PVC was pieced together with odds and ends with at least 6 separate joints over an 18" span. NONE of the joints were glued. They all came apart in my hands. I replaced the length with a single piece of PVC, costing a total of less than $1 of material. The labor was a good 3 hours due to all the digging. That lasted about a month and I had another river, this time from the spot the original repair was done. I dug it up and found a similar thing. 3 separate joints, none of them glued over a 12" length. I repaired this the same as my last repair. Skip forward to 2 years since the work and I just completed my 7th repair. All of them were the same: Not glued. Several were just pressed together by 1/16" to 1/8" as well. Absolutely ridiculous! This is far beyond shoddy work. I only wonder how many more leaks I'll find. Bedrock "repaired" 2 of the leaks, I did 3 and I had 2 repaired by a pro ($80 each). The pro said one of the repairs was of a section cobbled together just like one that I fixed myself. This is the worst joke I've ever seen as far as work quality.

I have had the pleasure of using Bedrock Foundation on three personal occasions with my properties, and countless other times for my customers. My mom has even used them and that’s the highest compliment you can give in my opinion. Being a contractor, I have an understanding, and a high expectation of what to expect when work is being completed. Rather it’s being punctual, clean, on time, high quality, and most of all honesty. Bedrock checks all of these boxes time and time again. I have worked specifically with Dan Hill each time. After having a bad experience with another large foundation company here in Dallas during the sale of a rental property, and being taken advantage of, I’ll never look back. Not only have I, but each of my customers that I have referred Dan to, have ranted and raved about how honest and fair he was. The icing on the cake is you don’t get price gouged for this kind of service. I don’t leave hardly any reviews on google, but I feel they need to get the recognition they deserve. Dan also provided a list of references which was important as all feedback was positive - a no brainier from that point. Bedrock Foundation Repair did a fantastic job correcting drainage problems at our home. Parts of our home flooded every time that it rained. Dan Hill was early for the initial consultation, and made a comprehensive assessment of what was needed to fix the problems. This type of work is expensive, but he gave us options and the bid was very competitive. The project was completed within the estimate and the time frame quoted (actually a day early). Bedrock did my first repair in 1998 on the back section of my house, some repairs in 2004, and lifted the front of my house in 2015. They were very professional, cleaned up afterwards and were prompt and efficient. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The estimator came with a 3 ft level and inspected the whole house less than 3 min. Then he went outside and said the house is leaning towards the left which is abvious because I stated that when I requested the service on home advisor .He gave me an estimate to place 9 piers instead of 18 that the other companies said i will neeed to lift the whole front of the house . It was funny that his price was 6000 more expensive. He didn't seem to be competent at all. Idk if the employees who do the job are. But I would never hire them .

Called and scheduled an estimate and no one showed up. When I called to see if anyone was coming they said they do not have me scheduled no apology or anything.

Company came out and did work for two of my houses. when one side kept cracking i called about the 7 year warrantee they had on the work. asked for 400 dollars to come out and look at it. I was willing to pay it but asked why if we had a warrantee. they stopped answering my calls and i called about 20 times now i have to call another company to fix their work.

Bedrock has done work for us on three houses and we were totally satisfied on each one. The staff has years of experience and was able to answer and address all of our questions. Originally very happy, tried to give it time. After year and half had to call them back out. Had to redo 3 piles and had to buy more that we didn't need on the first estimate. After a few months doors are sticking again. Very nice people, just disappointed I guess.

I have no complaints. The work I needed done was more pricey than I expected, but Bedrock gave the best price. The man who did was estimate was very friendly & informative. They was a couple of times I had questions during the work & I called him. Still friendly and helpful. The works were great too. I work very close to home, so if they needed to get in the house, the would call me. There was never bad looks or attitude, if they did have to wait a few minutes. I hope I don't need this type of work done again (because of price), but if I do, I will definitely consider them again.

The crew was awesome. Juan was great about explaining the process to me. My house is noticeably level now and couldn't be happier with the work that they did.

These folks are scam artists. Do not trust anyone at this establishment with even your change in your cup holder.

In 2015, we hired Bedrock to level our foundation and porch because we were concerned with a dipped area in one room. The crew was there maybe 5 hours, and not only didn't fix the dip (which they said couldn't be fixed because of the position of the joists), but they used thin WOOD shims on the pier beams which will surely compact over time. Two handymen who later noticed the low area laughed when I told them what the Bedrock crew had said. Bedrock said that we had a year's warranty, but they wanted to charge us for fixing the dip that they should have fixed in first place. They seemed to have done an adequate job on the porch, but the edge boards are pulling loose and lifting higher then the rest of the porch since Bedrock fixed it. It's clear they offer no warranty so there's no reason to call. Did you notice that they gave themselves a 5 star rating to boost their rating?? Pathetic!

I've used Bedrock on more than one occasion over the past 20 years. They've always done a great job and have backed up their work throughout the years when the ground shifts and I need an adjustment.

Hate having to edit a review, but in this instance everyone needs to know how terrible this company is to their customers. Within a year of their work, the repairs are worse than they were prior to them touching my foundation.

I gave them an opportunity to make it right, and did not get a response.

The pictures are of their work (less than a year after). The pictures were also provided to them. They did not provide after pictures of their work as I had requested either.

Compared several companies to perform repairs to my home. Bedrock estimator (Dan) was not only the most thorough but helped me to understand his analysis and recommendations. I chose Bedrock over the other companies due to the caring attitude and extensive knowledge exhibited during the inspection. The crew performing the actual work was professional and sensitive to minimizing impacts to flower beds and vegetation around the areas of repair. The work was performed carefully and completely to my satisfaction. As expected some follow-up was required to fill in additional dirt due to compaction over the following 9 months. Each request to come out and fill in the depressions was immediately responded to and the work was completed as required. It has been a year since the work was initially performed and all repairs have continued to maintain a level foundation as had been expected. Excellent company - highly recommended!

I hired Bedrock Foundation to raise my the driveway of my house which had sunk several inches. Dan Hill came out and gave me an estimate and said there would be a one year warranty against anything happening to the driveway after they mudjacked it up. He was very nice at the time.

I hired them to do the job and it looked good right after they did it. Later though, the driveway started raising up and now it is about two inches higher than the foundation of the house. I called Dan Hill several times and left messages and he refused to return my calls. When I called the main office number, they man that answered said I had to speak with Dan Hill since he was the one that handled my account.

Would not recommend this foundation company to anyone...terrible customer service and once the job is done and you have problems, will ignore your phone calls.

I am a realtor with Briggs Freeman Sotheby's. We had 3 foundation companies come out to an old house in the m streets. We got some really high bids and they were very different in scope. Dan with bedrock came out and came back much lower and he's inspected 35,000 or so houses. The buyers loved him. There was no access in the crawl space so he did say there could be more work to be done. We planned on doing the work after closing. Foundation work came up on the appraisal so we had to get it done prior to closing. Dan made sure that we got a crew out quicker that worked tirelessly. They did miss some things that they had to add once the engineer came back but they came in late to get it done. Engineer came back and Theresa's one more item to be done. Dan called and got him to ok the item with a picture. It was a really tough situation and they made the buyer feel great and really stood by their word and name. I will be referring them to every other client I work with.

When choosing a company for our foundation repair, we looked for:

(1) someone who had a stable, documented history of good work in our community

(2) someone whose representative who comes to evaluate our home takes time to give a thorough and understandable analysis--as well as was patient to answer all our questions satisfactorily

(3) someone who wasn't necessarily the cheapest but who gave value and quality for the price quoted

(4) someone who showed up when promised and completed the work when promised

(5) someone who was respectful of our property and house personnel and sensitive to other special concerns

(6) someone who left our house's foundation and property in better shape than when they first arrived
