Cody and Sons Plumbing are top notch service providers! They responded to my Plumbing needs quickly. My first encounter through customer service was excellent! They worked to get me taken care of even sooner than initially stated and my technician, Matt was very knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend them.

They came out to clean our dryer vent. Sent a tech instead who just gave us the price first. Had to wait all day for the other techs. Charged us 400$. Dryer vent was claimed to be cleaned by the techs who came out. Unfortunately, I trusted they cleaned it & did not check the dryer vent outside. Picture below. Called in to the office to have them re-clean it. Also spoke with a manager about the appointment mixup & getting a partial refund because now I’ll have to stay home again for the 2nd day because of their negligence & lying that it was cleaned. Asked for 2 different techs & a ladder since I waited the 1st day for them to arrive because they messed up the original appointment. Never received a call back from the manager. Called back into the office after not hearing back from the manager. Phone lines weren’t working. Finally I got through & the customer service rep said they did not notate they needed 2 techs & a ladder on appointment scheduled next day. Asked to speak to a manager again about the partial refund. Still waiting on the call. I hope they make it right but so far I would suggest avoiding this company.

We just switched over to this company today after having a horrible experience with another hvac company that is always “on-time”. The excellent service started with the receptionist and ended with our service tech Weldon. He was the kindest, most professional tech I think we have ever had in DFW. Such an amazing experience. Give them a try and ask for Weldon! So glad to have found Cody and Sons!

I have been a customer of Cody & Sons for a little over a year for their HVAC and Plumbing Maintenance plan. This particular time , Weldon was my technician. All the techs have been good - but Mr. Weldon was so thorough, so professional, and kind. Just exceptional - I can feel the difference in my home after he left.

I will say - there have been some hiccups lately with scheduling and their third party messaging. However - the office manager (Sarah, I think? - my apologies) apologized and made things right with my schedule. She was accountable (even though the issue was out of her control) and remedied the issue immediately! She is genuine and authentic .

This local business is exemplary and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a maintenance plan!

They were able to come out same day to fix my washing machine, so that was nice. What they didn't do was fix the problem. As soon as they left, I got the same error message I had called in for. The more senior tech mentioned that they checked the hot water filter but not the cold one because it looked fragile. All that to say, I'm now out a washing machine AND $85.

I also mentioned to the scheduler that I wanted to look at the sewage pipes to see if anything is wrong (there's a smell). When I mentioned it to the tech, he brushed it off and away they went!

I had gotten a astronomical quote from another plumbing company and we decided to get a second opinion with Cody and sons Caleb and Joseph were so kind. They took their time. I appreciated that they took their time to actually look for the clog and spend time trying to clear out instead of just going straight to you need to replace all your plumbing. Everything works great now with no more leaking. They write great with my loud dogs as well. So thankful! I’ll definatly be using y’all in the future.

Five Stars! Not four... FIVE STARS! I had a bathtub fill up with some nasty debris after I ran my washing machine, and like any dilligent homeowner, I called 3 plumbing companies to help me asses my options. Of the 2 that showed up, Cody and Sons came in at less than half the price of the other, and left within hours having fixed the problem! Hats off to Joseph S. and Adarius. Thanks so much fellas! Cody and Sons made it to the top of my plumbing contact list should any issue arise in the future. If you can, have Joseph S and Adarius asses your plumbing issue - they were super honest, freindly and didn't shoot for the hole-in-one like the other companies I called.

I have been having a problem with wet carpeting after using my shower. A plumber came out and eliminated the toilet, and my bathroom sink from leaking. I eliminated my 18 year old Shih Tzu from pottying in the bathroom. She is such a good girl!

Today, Joseph, with Cody and Son plumbing came out because the carpet is still wet after using my shower. This has been driving me crazy!

Joseph started out by explaining what he was going to be doing there by eliminating things as he went. He took his time with me being very sure I understood everything and that he had answered all my questions.

Then I left him to his work. About 25 minutes later he showed me what tests he had been doing with no water leaks forth coming. I then asked him if the rubber gasket along the bottom of the shower door being missing, could be the culprit. He said it very well could be and he proceded to do a careful inspection of the bottom of the shower door where the rubber gasket should have been.

After doing some more close looking and testing, Joseph came to the conclusion that YES! The missing gasket was my problem, not water leaking at all. This was such a relief just knowing there is no problem with water leaking some where that I could have done a happy dance!

I give Joseph a HIGH 5 for taking his time in finding the solution to the wet carpet after my showers, and not rushing me in answering questions or being in a hurry to be on his way.

I give Cody and Son Plumbing a 5 star rating and will use them again if the need arise, and recommend them highly.

Andrew came over for preventative plumbing maintenance/checkup that I had prepaid for when Cody and Sons had previously done some HVAC work. The checkup was very thorough, Andrew was respectful of my home and dogs, and he made sure to go over everything he did and saw. Jordan performed maintenance on our AC unit and I am very happy with his work. He was very nice and explained the work that needed to be done with the cost. I will use Cody and Son’s in the future.

Cody & Sons idnstalled a new hot water heater into the attic, in a very confined space and added an electric cut-off switch, replaced a toilet and faucets in our master bathroom. Evan and Ethan did a great job.

I recently had Cody & Sons come out for an air conditioning issue. Their website quoted an $89 consultation fee, but when the technician arrived, they said it would be $250, then reduced it to $120 after we questioned it. This inconsistency felt unprofessional. Additionally, the technician told us we needed a new compressor, but a second opinion revealed this wasn't the case. This experience left us feeling like they were trying to push unnecessary repairs. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and felt misleading. I do not recommend their services.

Cameron was very knowledgeable and explained step by step what and why he was doing it! The only bad part is now waiting on the inspector and Atmos to get our gas back on ! Thank you for your speedy response and job well done

I had an excellent experience with Cameron of Cody and Sons Plumbing when he came to troubleshoot and clear a clogged drain at my house recently.
I was impressed with his knowledge, , professionalism and especially his attention to detail and quality of work. He took the time to fully investigate the problem, answer my questions and give a precise quote for what needed to be done. After snaking the drain, he did several checks, including running the washing machine through two cycles to verify the clog had been completely cleared. My bathroom was left cleaner than when he arrived and he gave me several tips on maintaining the drains and possible upgrades to the vanity.
I was very pleased with Cameron's work and would not hesitate to call on him again or to recommend him to others.

Update-had backed up plumbing issue and they worked with my condo building, another great example of stellar service!
Update-Cody and his partner were professional even though they couldn’t install some fixtures due to the counter size. They did resolve my toilet issue! Update-Mike Boyd personally came over to inspect the installation of my new air handler to ensure it was performing up to standards & it was!
Once again their proactive customer centric approach discovered some debris and old insulation that needs to removed and we arranged for a duct cleaning.
Thank you Cody & Sons for finally being the solution to ensuring my home is allergen free as possible!

I had a minor rattling noise from my air handler which they quickly responded to and diagnosed.

I had a leak that was related to the sprinkler system. Evan was wonderful in explaining things and suggesting I call sprinkler specialists. Cody and Son’s is the best and most honest plumbing, a/c, heating/air company around. They are the only company I will use for any of those issues.

First they told me it would be $89 to send someone out for hvac diagnostic…then they told me it would be $125 ….then they changed it to $289…. I was given 3 different prices in the span of a couple hours. So obviously I cancel hvac. I had plumbing come out to do a scope and estimate on pipe repair a couple days later. I need a report with estimates to give to the seller of a home I’m trying to buy and the tech told me that they would have that report for me in a few hours. Now it’s 24 hours later and I still have nothing. Customer service on the phone sounds absolutely clueless and I’m probably going to lose this house because of Cody and son’s incompetence. Completely unprofessional business. worst company I have ever dealed with in my entire life. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

The team was professional and very willing to help root cause my leak. I deducted one star only because they didn't have the supply line piece to complete the job thoroughly. Overall I would use and recommend this company again.

We have a 90 yr old house with a tricky grade level out to the street. Our newer plumbing was poorly connected to the original system We needed a Master Plumber, and folks with the newest diagnostic tools and lots of expertise. But without a big TV advertising budget We had a BIG job. Think 75 ft of new pipe to the street for starters, plus inside work. There was a miscommunication about the scope of work, but C & S owned it and made it right. They provided great results and attention to small things like: their guys took their time filling, tamping & filling the trench the right way. They were careful and polite.

My entire experience with Cody and Sons was phenomenal, from person I spoke to on the phone to schedule the appt., to the messages to remind me, info about my technician, to technician arrival and service. Evan was my technician and he was fantastic. Friendly, professional and helpful. Used them twice now and can’t recommend enough! Thank you all!

I had Cody and Sons come out and do a check of our heater system and also replace a sink soap dispenser in my kitchen. Brandon did a great job on the heater check. Cody and Josh replaced the soap dispenser and got that done quickly and efficiently. They also cleaned up under the sink, which I appreciated. They were all very professional!

Abraham and Jordan were on time, and completed the work in mere moments. In addition, they also took the time to help me feed my curiosity about the issue.
