Then here it is a very few years later the same spot is leaking after a storm. I called and they said anything after a certain time they lose the information in their database. So it’s as if we never had services with them. Never again will I use or recommend them.

I used JNT Developers to replace a roof and water damage that resulted from a storm. JNT assigned Charlie Gray as the Project Manager and he truly took care of every detail. JNT handled my insurance company claim which was exceedingly convenient and the quality of their workmanship was excellent. The roof looks excellent and their interior work was outstanding.

I will be using them in the future for any work that needs to be done around the house. I believe that their competitive advantage is in their project management and customer service excellence. There are many companies that can deliver a good project but with JNT, they assign a project manager to handle all of the details, subcontractors, etc. so I don't have to worry.

I had my roof replaced and this was my first time doing a major home repair/renovation. After several suggestions and reading reviews I went with JNT Developers. I felt so confident in them that they won over my business from family referrals. Office staff was nice and courteous and set me up with my initial contractor. I met with the contractor for about an hour and he was very patient/informative in helping me understand the process and materials. With so many material options to choose from he made it easy to understand and even suggested some other things I didn’t consider to protect my home based on the layout of my roof.

Once I signed the contract they had a full crew out there on Saturday to remove the old roof. I have a smaller house but working quickly and efficiently they had my roof off and started laying shingles that day and had 90% completed by Sunday evening. Over the next few days they trimmed it out, cleaned up some rough edges and made sure it was to my liking. VP Jon Sherwood followed up with the work and he suggested some other cosmetic adjustments and it made it look better than before. With that simple follow up by Jon and the added customer service provided they sealed the deal in making me a happy customer.

With any big job patience and communication is key. Being my first big experience I can’t go without saying I was anxious about the process. Maintaining constant contact with them, keeping a level head and trusting they would do a great job made the process go smoothly. I now have a beautiful new roof that will protect my house for years to come and I can’t wait to utilize JNT Developers other services as I renovate my home inside and out.

We recently had some minor damage to our roof in Arlington. I had used JNT for an entire roof replacement several years ago and was very pleased with their work. As this job looked fairly small I decided to call an independent roofer. Bad idea. I called three companies and only one attempted to return my call! And that person would only text and would not call me. He said he would meet the insurance inspector at the Home but never followed up to even ask me when they would be out.
So, I went back to JNT. Marcus immediately called me back and made an appointment to meet me at the home. He was even considerate enough to let me know he might be 5 minutes late. Communication is big with me and he went above and beyond. Sure enough the insurance adjuster decided the damage was only $550. I forwarded the estimate to Marcus who BEAT that estimate. They completed the work within a few days. The upshot is that I will be using JNT in the future for both large and small jobs. They delivered while others would not even respond.

We are a striping company that bent over backwards to complete some last minute work for JNT on a job and they never paid. Multiple Liens filed on the property from several subs, but by time we found out they were not going to pay, the deadline to file had passed. We will not do business with them or recommend them to anyone. If they pay their bill, my mind may change but this is less than 5k on a sizable project.

I thought these hacks were out of business!

Contact you insurance company first - These are not honest people.

I asked Mr. Charlie Gray why he stayed with such an untrustworthy company. He stayed professional, and simply stated that was his choice at this time. I told him that if I ever needed to contract a company again and he was the project manager or sales person that he had my business, but I would NEVER do business with JNT Developers again.

JNT Developers ok roofing needs. Charlie Gray is helpful , but I had a board that needed to be replaced under the decking that had water damage. He said they would come back and fix it, but never did. I guess they got paid for this small roofing job and then just left. The paint on the valleys is coming off also after just a short time.

they are slow to start and finish and when you pay in full dont expect them to honor your warranty whatsoever! you can call and call, email, and demand they'll keep pushing you off.

We received a response from our request for a roof repair quote within just a few hours. The repair was quoted for a reasonable price and work was scheduled promptly. We were pleased by the workmanship of the crew and Marcus’ responsiveness and professionalism throughout the process. Would work with JNT in the future.

STAY AWAY! Great when they get your money, but if there are any issues after that… forget about it! This will be the first time in long time that I've had to leave a negative review. In March of 2017, your company installed a new roof at my home for $15,000 that was paid in full. On May 27, 2019, I reached out to them concerning water damage found on my dining room ceiling wall. My insurance adjuster came out and noticed that the roof just above where the damage is located didn’t have the proper flashing in the valley where water would be prone to collect. I asked Brandi Williams to send me the original warranty agreement, which I still have yet to receive, as she mistakenly attached the wrong file in 2017. Instead, she asked me to sign a new agreement, in which there would be a $250 fee assessed if JNT Developers, Inc. determined that the damages were not the fault of workmanship. This was not contained in the original agreement and Brandi stated that they updated it late 2017 without informing me. Further, they came out previously to fix unrelated issues with the roof and never mentioned a $250 fee. Fortunately, the next day May 29, 2019, Mark Robinette stepped in and said to ignore this fee and that he would schedule something with me. Over the course of several days multiple texts and emails were exchanged and Mark scheduled a visit to the house on June 4. I had my insurance adjuster come out again to meet him, but unfortunately Mark was not able to meet at the scheduled time due to a doctor’s appointment for his son. The adjuster again made note of the flashing issue on the roof that is just above the dining room where the water damage is. Further, the insurance adjuster noted that while there was hail damage, it was mostly cosmetic. The adjuster offered to speak with Mark and meet with him and from my understanding they did converse. Not hearing back from Mark, I followed up in an email on June 19, 2019, about a week after they had talked. I did not receive a response from anyone at JNT Developers, neither Eric or Mark. On June 24, I contacted Mark via text and asked if he could provide me with a good contact or an update, as when we met in person on June 4th he informed me that he had put in his two weeks’ notice and would be leaving the company. He gave me Brandi’s contact info and said that JNT Developers are planning to “fight back on it stating that the warranty is now void because of excessive amount of hail damage…” Based on this information, I reached out to Eric, Brandi and included Mark via email. Not hearing any response, I sent another email on June 28, 2019 to Brandi, Mark, Eric, Jorge Abreu, Tasha Abreu, Jonathan Sherwood and David Hopkins. I’ve received a response from Brandi stating that she is working with Jorge and Mark and will come up with a resolution before the end of the day (6/28). They are now saying they want to schedule ANOTHER inspection!

Excellent company! Sebastian handled our new roof 1.5 years ago, and also handled a warranty issue we had like a pro. Thanks for standing behind your product, and for sending a good guy like Sebastian.

Charlie and JNT Developers did a great job replacing my rooftop deck. They showed up on time and were able to complete the job in one day. It was easy to communicate with Charlie throughout the process. Would highly recommend.

I call JNT Developers on September because we had a roof leak. Zach came and give us an excellent quote. He also suggested to go through our insurance because of hail damage we dint know it existed. We follow his advice and set an adjusters appointments. Zach, never show up to the appointment like he said he would. He said he was sick. So of course we were denied by our insurance because there was no Zach to explain the adjuster what was going on. I told Zach we would pay out of pocket to what he replay "I will re submit a proposal for the repair to our insurance" We waited and waited and we still waiting. No word from Zach . I have try to contact him via Email and phone with no success. My roof still is leaking. Not happy with there customer service!

From the jump Faith was very friendly and attentive over the phone when I called with my roofing issue. She was funny and even able to get someone to come out and see our home for an estimate that very day. Impressive and delighted lol! My wife and I were pleased with the price, albeit we'd never had a repair done quite this size before. But it was a beautiful job and we are more than happy with the results! So far, so good anyway. We were leery due to a botched job previously but we were defininetly reassured. They maintained constant communication with us and was wonderful to pinpoint a problem in the roof that we didn't even now we had and took care of it (our home is old from the 70's and has an older interior and set up)

Here's what's scary. These guys have a 4.6 rating on google. I'm looking for roofers after the June 6 storm so I see others come up with a high rating like this. I"m thinking: Well there's always one bad experience so no one's perfect. Problem is, if I didn't know better I'd say the same thing about JNT. And maybe it was luck of the draw and I was the bad experience but mine was horrible. Two weeks to do the work after hounding and hounding, mistakes, leaving the work undone as rain storms were moving in, nails left in the yard, not being prompt etc etc. I'd give them negative stars if I could. Net net, maybe I lucked out and got the short straw but I need roofers for two houses right now and I"m not using these guys again.

Joe and Sebastian came out on a rainy day to fix a loose concrete tile on my rooftop deck and to check my roof for hail damage. Despite having to trek up and down four flights of stairs multiple times and having to deal with the rain, they kept a friendly attitude and treated me fairly. I would highly recommend JNT Developers for any roofing needs.

Jamie and his crew were very professional and courteous. I'm very happy with their full service removal of an old wooden privacy fence and installation of new vinyl fencing.

One of their trucks was on l30 driving like an idoit. Was on the phone the whole time not paying attention to the road. If they don't care about the other drivers I am sure they don't care about their quality.

We had several roofing issues left over from the hail storm that hit north Texas in March of 2016. I got on Angie's List as usual and contacted 3 highly rated roofing companies to get repair estimates. Charlie Gray from JNT Developers came out immediately, listened to my concerns and then went up on the roof to assess the situation in more detail. Some of the problems were due to shoddy work of the company that we hired after the hail storm (not JNT) and Charlie recommended we contact them and hold them accountable, which tells you a lot about Charlie's integrity (e.g., willing to forego business to do the right thing). To make a long story short, Charlie's bid was both the lowest and the most comprehensive (e.g., found some missing flashing around the skylights that would almost certainly leak at some point) and consequently we hired JNT to complete the entire job. All the workers involved (led by Elias) were very accommodating, communicative and efficient throughout the process and we are thrilled with the results!

I’ve done a few cleanings for Jamie over the last couple of months. I’m always excited when I get a call to do a post construction cleaning because these contractors are the cleanest I've had the privilege to clean behind.

After the horrible hail storm last year, we hired JNT Developers to replace our roof. The team helped negotiate with our insurance agents to get us the most out of our policy...found things I would not have even thought about, and handled every aspect of the repairs and replacement. Hope I don't have to have the roof repaired for a long time, since we got upgraded impact resistant shingles...but if/when we need another roofer, we'll call JNT Developers.

they did a very nice job from start to finish. My roof does not leak anymore. The only bad thing I can say is they spilled a bucket of roof sealer on the concrete under the roof and didn't clean it up. I still gave 5 stars because I never brought the issue to their attention and did not give them an opportunity to remedy the situation. I'm confident they would have fixed it had i asked.

Contacted JNT after a bad experience with a previous contractor. Charlie came out, inspected my roof and insured me it would be done in a timely manner. 13 days later new roof is installed. Charlie kept me up to date through out the whole process. Rafael met me on site the day of the roof install to make sure materials were delivered and to make sure work started. Very professional. A neighbor's tree fell over during the high winds last week and damaged our roof. We had heard that JNT was an honest and trustworthy roofing company but I didn't know whether they would do a relatively minor repair. Charlie and Samantha came out within a day, tarped the damaged area and their crew arrived a few days later and made the necessary repairs. Just like new and for a reasonable charge. Great people working at JNT.

Worked with Charlie to identify and fix a leak that showed up in our master bathroom after a particularly bad storm. He was professional, courteous and thorough. Not only did he fix the leak, but he took pictures of our roof that we hadn't seen since our move-in. His team also documented the work they had done up there through before and after photos. All of this was especially helpful to us, and will come in handy down the road.

All in all, we were worried about finding a contractor going in, but couldn't be happier with the work that JNT did.

However, I do believe that they have gone above and beyond to help us (we were hit by the tornado after Christmas) especially due to amount of work that had to be done. The team that was assigned to us (David H., Bryan H., Marcus D.) has worked with us in getting everything we needed. The key thing for us to reach them through communication was through emails, text, phone calls which they would reply rather quickly based on their availability (typically answered within that day or the next day).

One of the greatest thing is that they worked with us in helping sending paper work to our current mortgage company as well as our insurance provider so there was less stress for us!

The JNT Developers crews are knowledgeable, professional and always exceed expectations. As a property manager I have numerous properties where I am constantly needing repairs done. For most projects I am required to submit multiple competitive quotes for a project. JNT consistently is the best quote. The end result always exceeds the expectations of not only myself, but my homeowners’ associations. Several of my properties no longer request competitive quotes, they specifically request JNT Developers. They have a track record for being honest, punctual, and complete projects as promised ahead of schedule. JNT has a system for keeping you informed on the daily status of your project. They always answer the phone and arrive on site when they say they will. JNT Developers is very flexible and easy to work with; they are always my first call.

I used JNT Developers to replace a roof and water damage that resulted from a storm. JNT assigned Charlie Gray as the Project Manager and he truly took care of every detail. JNT handled my insurance company claim which was exceedingly convenient and the quality of their workmanship was excellent. The roof looks excellent and their interior work was outstanding.

I will be using them in the future for any work that needs to be done around the house. I believe that their competitive advantage is in their project management and customer service excellence. There are many companies that can deliver a good project but with JNT, they assign a project manager to handle all of the details, subcontractors, etc. so I don't have to worry.

Due to the Rowlett Tornado of December 26, 2015 my home sustained substantial damage. After a frustrating go with roofers in the area I decided to try JNT as referred by my neighbor. They have family that works there.

JNT provided contractors for roofing, gutter, and fence repair. Most importantly they provided me a Project Manager by the name of Mark Robinette. Mark was instrumental in scheduling and overseeing projects to completion. Mark stayed on the crews and made sure all repairs were completed to my expectation. I have had bad experiences with contractors in the past. This was a breeze. Thanks Mark!

I’m a real estate investor and hired JNT to remodel a house I flipped in 2013-14. In short, I encountered all of the nightmare scenarios that you hear about with shady general contractors: poor quality work, multiple missed deadlines (and by multiple I mean one after another after another), and lousy/nonexistent communication about the status of the project. The owner of the company, Jorge Abreu (he goes by “George”), even admitted to me in an email that JNT did a lousy job, while at the same time stating that I was “an excellent customer”.

I should have turned a very solid profit on this flip, but ended up losing money specifically because of the problems I had with JNT. When I tried to sell the house, it fell out of contract THREE times because of problems with JNT’s work that were discovered by the buyers’ inspectors. When I contacted Jorge and explained the problems I was having, he told me I should have given JNT more time to fix the problems. All this, despite already giving them WAY more time than was stipulated in the contract and, like I said, missing repeated deadlines. When I brought this to Jorge’s attention, he said that change orders were the reason the project was so far behind schedule. If you know anything about construction or remodeling, you’d know that these change orders should not have taken ANYWHERE NEAR the additional time that they did. NOT EVEN CLOSE. While JNT did offer to compensate me for the problems they caused, the amount they offered was absolutely laughable. It wasn’t even close to what they actually cost me.

I would pursue legal action against JNT, but after seeing how poorly the company is managed, I’d be shocked if they actually were able to pay a settlement after losing in court, which means I’d then be out thousands more in legal fees.

I’m sure Jorge, or someone from JNT, will respond to this review and try to somehow twist things around to put the blame on me. But like I said, Jorge admitted to me in writing that they did a lousy job. I have documented proof of EVERYTHING I’ve written above. I’m absolutely certain I could win in court if I chose to pursue that path, but I’m far less confident that JNT could pay. So I’m here writing this review instead.

There are tons of general contractors in DFW. Trust me, you can find plenty that are better than JNT.

I received a notice from my insurance company regarding tree damage to my roof. I googled JNTDevelopers and contacted them for a repair estimate. My initial plan was to “shop” and determine the best contractor for the job. I confirmed an appointment with JNTDevelopers; Charlie Gray was scheduled to come out at 4:30 but was able to come earlier; he contacted me with his new availability which worked out great - his arrival was very prompt. Upon reviewing the noted roof damage he also pointed out damage that was not denoted by my insurance company. I was very impressed with Charlie, his professionalism and him personally. Based on my initial meeting with Charlie, I determined that JNTDevelopers was the best company to do the work required.

Although they had a very tight schedule, in order to accommodate my needs Charlie went above and beyond and was able to get work done on an urgent, almost immediate basis.

I am very appreciative of his due diligence, ability to get job done in an exceptional time frame, and would STRONTLY refer him/JNTDevelopers to anyone needing roof repair. I have already referred him to a friend for her roofing needs.

JNT was my Roofer of Choice after much due diligence. Our Hotel property has multiple large buildings. Project managers Steve Grillo and Jim Elliot did an excellent job the entire course of the insurance claim and my reroof.
Our insurance company original under scoped the actually work needing completed and offered half the money it actually took to repair.
We greatly appreciate the folks at JNT for the professionalism of how are project was handled from beginning to end!

I had my roof replaced and this was my first time doing a major home repair/renovation. After several suggestions and reading reviews I went with JNT Developers. I felt so confident in them that they won over my business from family referrals. Office staff was nice and courteous and set me up with my initial contractor. I met with the contractor for about an hour and he was very patient/informative in helping me understand the process and materials. With so many material options to choose from he made it easy to understand and even suggested some other things I didn’t consider to protect my home based on the layout of my roof.

Once I signed the contract they had a full crew out there on Saturday to remove the old roof. I have a smaller house but working quickly and efficiently they had my roof off and started laying shingles that day and had 90% completed by Sunday evening. Over the next few days they trimmed it out, cleaned up some rough edges and made sure it was to my liking. VP Jon Sherwood followed up with the work and he suggested some other cosmetic adjustments and it made it look better than before. With that simple follow up by Jon and the added customer service provided they sealed the deal in making me a happy customer.

With any big job patience and communication is key. Being my first big experience I can’t go without saying I was anxious about the process. Maintaining constant contact with them, keeping a level head and trusting they would do a great job made the process go smoothly. I now have a beautiful new roof that will protect my house for years to come and I can’t wait to utilize JNT Developers other services as I renovate my home inside and out.

Purchased through Angie’s List complete roof replacement. The work lasted longer than planned, the crew finished late at night and therefore clean up was far from perfect.
Two days after roof replacement I noticed a small leak. This leak was fixt quickly, but the bad feeling remained. At the end I noticed that instead of the 10-years warranty I was given only a 5-year warranty. I contacted multiple times Mark Robinette and he promised to change the warranty according to Angie’s list description, but despite his promises he did noting.
I would not recommend this contractor!

JNT developers led by Charlie was very professional. My roof replacement was shared with 2 other neighbor's (Row Homes). We were kept informed during the bid process, the actual work and we were provided before and after photos. I was happy with the work done on my roof by JNT and would recommend to future customers.

We had JNT complete our shower remodel and completely regret it. After spending several thousands of dollars we have been left with cracked tile, grout that looks dirty and uneven tiles. The contractors JNT hires do extremely poor work and even when they attempt to fix it, it just looks worse. We highly recommend NOT having JNT complete any remodel work for your home, don't make the same mistake we did! Also, a project we were told would only take 14 days at a max, ended up taking several months. Lack in communications and making appointments on time and/or canceling minutes before an appointment.

UPDATE: After our original review above, JNT did contact us to fix the above issues that were brought up during original installation. Our shower ended up being gutted and re-done. We still recommend not using this company. Charlie claimed he was going to bring updated warranty paperwork by and never did, after contacting him to see where it was, he claimed he would mail it, we have yet to receive it over a month later. Don't bother with this company!

I had a tree fall on my roof on Halloween, once I got the tree removed Marcus from JNT came out right away to look at the damage. The estimate was reasonable, and they did the work so quickly! It was repaired right before we got a bunch of rain!! Marcus was easy to work with and I was always able to get a hold of him when I had a question or needed to reschedule.

Mark Robinette was the best! We just had a roof installed by JnT and couldn't be happier with Mark Robinette as our project manager. He was very professional, responsive, and accommodating. Management people are reasonable and prompt to respond to questions. However, my roof and gutter replacement was done by low quality subcontractors, which I was really disappointed at. They did not make it tidy after the job and even damaged my properties; for example, left behind old shingles, sponges, nails, metal debris, after-meal trashes (pizza slices, water bottles) on my yard, left stains on the wall, broke exterior power outlet cover, damaged motion sensing light, and damaged lawn (still not recovered after months). Cleaned up myself and had to call several times to get them resolved (not everything resolved though). The gutter guy did not admit what he had done and did a very sloppy job to recover - No ownership ever. My lawn ended up with dead spots now.
When it comes to the real job (roof replacement), I also had to call several (not only a few) times to get the initially very sloppy job improved over and over. Seems that nobody is responsible for the final thorough inspection before they call it "finished". They reacted only when I found something wrong and complained.
I lost trust in Google reviews.

I own a local home and auto insurance agency and I have been selling home insurance in DFW for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, this area sees its fair share of hail storms and roofing claims are commonplace in my industry. If I had a dollar for every roofer that wanted me to send my clients to them, I probably wouldn't have to sell insurance anymore. But I have been burned many times by roofers. I don't generally trust them any further than I can see them. That's why I only have 1 roofer in my referral book. As you have probably guessed by now, that roofer is JNT. They do fantastic work and they do it quickly. What's more important, and what sets them apart from any other roofer that I have known, is that they are honest. They are not going to tell you that you need a roof replacement when you only need a repair. JNT is fully insured, which is rare in most roofing companies that you will meet. If you want the job done right, done quickly and you want to work with one of the few honest roofing contractors, then you NEED to work with JNT.

My roof was damaged during a storm recently, I called there office, I spoke to Jorge. Jorge came out to our house, examined the damage, agreed that there was damage, spoke to the adjuster. we had a new roof in less then a week, there install only took 1 day to do, then followed up with a clean up crew. Great guys, easy to deal with.

I had Eric come and check my house for hail damage after a storm. He found no damage and said that my roof was fine. I am grateful for his honesty and integrity.

The roof shingle replacement was done very well. Eric listened closely to my specifications and questions regarding the project. He supplied clarifying advice on the process which led to a smooth installation. His crew has in and out in one day. He came back following that and corrected some minor detail finish out. Eric handled everything very professionally and handled are the details smoothy.

Did not get good customer services. The sales man was to excited about going out of town with his girlfriend for his birthday to give me an estimate. He said we will just do it for whatever the insurance pays for. I went with a much better company that has done wonderful work.
