Phillip Duffin and team did a fantastic job leveling up our home. We hired CCM Engineering to evaluate our home, which I highly recommend doing (especially hiring CCM). Having their report made the process very simple. Phillip’s crew did the whole job in basically one day. On day two it was mostly clean up. When they were jacking up the house, we could literally feel it moving. When they were finished everything was back to normal and all doors shut again and the expansion joint which had separated 2 inches on the exterior of the house was also back to normal. After the work was done they sent out their expert plumber to test all the lines which came back perfect. Lastly, CCM engineering sent out the original engineer that surveyed the house and he said “Wow, they did a great job. Everything is perfect, over 2 inches fixed!” That was music to my ears. Great job, guys! Thanks so much!

Will Cobb has been amazing to work with and will definitely be a "go to" for me! He is honest and so very knowledgeable in everything foundation related! Called company this morning in hopes to find a solution and have spoken to 3 different people saying they’ll probably call us back. First two were cordial and made us feel hopeful but one basically said nothing he could do. Please feel free to reach out to me, Scott, so we can actually fix the mess of a plumbing we have as we currently are down 2 bathrooms do to plumbing issues.

This company has been nothing but a nightmare and headache for my family and I.

We bought a home in February which had thousands dollars of work done by them... our inspector found gaps in the ground where the company forgot to backfill. Reluctantly, they came out and “filled the holes”.

Flash forward to 10 days ago when we demoed our kitchen to find FEET of water under our house. Turns out they didn’t backfill at all and we’ve had water sitting under the foundation this entire time.. when we called they said there was nothing they could do till Monday (this was Friday). Now it’s about to be Wednesday (construction is 6 days behind) and they don’t even know if they have enough dirt.

To top it off they want to put MORE holes in my foundation and expect US to pay for the repairs. We are a week delayed because of these peoples incompetency, possibly more depending on how tomorrow goes. Do NOT use this company.

*editing to add the work they did on the pipes checks out from our inspector. It’s the work they did after as well as communication (only text will not call) that’s really been deterring and unfortunate.

Absolutely do not use this company. They did foundation work on my house before I bought it, and did not pull permits with the city. They claim there’s no issue with this which is absolute nonsense, the city of Rowlett requires a permit be pulled for foundation work. Any reputable foundation repair company should know to do this, and not put all responsibility on the homeowner. Note that most of the good reviews they have are from realtors, not people who actually have had work done by them. The people I spoke to on the phone clearly did not have a care in the world about the situation and were completely unhelpful. Beware!

Phillip came to asses the damage and was very kind and professional. He was very detailed and made me feel comfortable about the process and my lack of knowledge around the entire situation.
The crew arrived right on time. They were friendly and fast. They went over and above. At one point one of the crew fixed a door frame that had been messed up previous to the foundation issues. If they entered the home they removed their shoes unprompted. When they left the made sure to sweep, spray off driveway, pick up any trash, they even put extra dirt around my foundation.
The office staff was professional and kind with every interaction. They also were very quick to reply.

Got life time warranty and they don’t do that they want to pay someone to say we had water leak when we didn’t we had a plumber come and check and he said there’s no leaks , this company are crooks cause I notice in another review they said the same thing about a leak just so they don’t honor life time warranty

Brayden in the plumbing department is absolutely the best, I had a few hurdles to get past and Brayden was extremely polite and efficient, he made a mutual client extremely happy!

Very poor customer service. Company lifted my foundation but spilled dug up dirt all around my foundation, without my knowledge, burying all sprinkler heads around my foundation. They refused to pay to raise all sprinklers and even went as far as threatening me to put a lien on my property. Really sad. I regret ever doing business with Master Builders Remodelers & Guaranteed Foundation Repairs.

MBR has been our go-to foundation repair company for years. As real estate agents, we rely on solid industry partners to help us close deals. Jay Hudman at MBR is always responsive and professional. There have been many times when he could've sold me a repair job, but didn't recommended any piers, even when I would have sworn they were needed. On the plumbing side, they have a great team who do a super job replacing old leaky sewer lines quickly and neatly. They get in and out in a fraction of the time I've seen from other companies.

MBR was a huge help for my family when we were selling our first home. We needed some work done on our home prior to selling. My realtor had worked with Doug at MBR in the past and introduced us. Doug was very professional and friendly, and he answered any questions I had during the process. I appreciated that they didn't try to sell us more piers than we needed, as other foundation companies will.

The crew arrived on time on the first day of their scheduled work and were very respectful of our property while they were there. Our job took about 3 days to complete and when they were done the crew cleaned up after themselves. This was a great experience for a situation we wished we could have avoided.

Excellent & efficient service to resolve my plumbing issues! The crew performing the work was very professional and kept me in the loop throughout the process. Very considerate of my property leaving it as if they were never here. Care and attention to detail to return the area to its pre-work condition is much appreciated! Eric Herrera lacks basic customer service skills.

Had six piers put under my foundation in March of this year. They earn the one star for being very prompt and completing the work quickly, which may be to detriment. Several months later, sinkholes are beginning to form under my house along the side where the piers were put in - not just where the work was done, but the entire side of the house. I emailed and did not receive a response, and still haven't, so I called. I was put in contact with MBR's area manager who told me this was "normal" and to just shovel some dirt under the foundation to fill the holes myself.

He also kept insisting that they did not haul any dirt offsite, which was weird to me he was so defensive about it because that had absolutely nothing to do with what I was saying. I ended up spending my own time, money, and effort to try and do my best to fix the issue last weekend, since they wouldn't even send someone to take a look at what was happening nor stand behind their work. Didn't even ask for pictures! I would stay away if possible. "Lifetime Warranty" on their work apparently doesn't mean what it should.

I shopped around an by far MBRGFR was the best VALUE!!!
I recommend them very highly. You will not be disappointed!

Discovered that what we thought was a plumbling leak issue was a foundation issue. Our home is over 100 years old. This is my ‘go to’ foundation company. They are trustworthy and knowledgeable. The latest house they worked on has had confusing ongoing issues and I truly feel that after working with Jay and his crew we have solved the issue! They even completed the work ahead of the agreed schedule.

MBR has personally assisted with structural repairs like pier and beam shimming and beam replacement. They have also provided quality assessments and services for foundation repairs of pier and beam homes as well as slab foundations for many of my real estate clients throughout the years. MBR installed 22 piers. They arrived on time and Will Cobb was our salesman and very pleasant. The contract was thorough and easy to understand. Luis and his crew were efficient and easy to work with. Luis seemed very knowledgeable of his job. Work was done on a timely manner and cleaned up when finished. We would definitely use your services again and would highly recommend you. Crew actually started early.

Honest, courteous and professional. Clearly explained the inspection process and why I was seeing cracks in my walls. I was expecting to have to spend $10k or more. Turns out I only have to fix the cracks cause by storing boxes incorrectly on the sheet rock in the attic. I would recommend having MBR for any foundation concerns you have.

This company does not and will not stand behind their work, deceitful and dishonest.
