Groom & Sons' Hardware in Dallas

I have been coming to this store since it was ACE Hardware STORE and I think about 6 years ago it turned into sons and groom the level of professionalism has not changed so helpful even on the phone when calling this has always been my go to hardware store besides Home Depot do not go to Elliot’s Hardware store they have bad customer service over the phone and in person make the drive and come here they have what you want and doesn’t mind help you to find what you need!!!

I went to Groom & Son's for tools for my husband's project they had wide selection. The manager Laci was so nice and helpful because I did not know what I was looking for but she sure did know. She is a lifesaver. I recommend anyone needed household tools and items to shop at Groom & Son's.

Terrible can’t even do a simple return

GROOMS & sons robbed me for my money and the merchandise that I returned to get my refund don’t go to this store. There system is from 19 throw it away please be cautious and keep your receipt

Decent little store and the staff has always been friendly when I've come here. Only issue I've had here is the selection is not great and it's no fault of theirs but a lot of things are locked up or in cages so you have to wait for someone to free up to get you what you need. Unfortunately, that's the world we live in now.

It's my birthday 01-18, Laci was so kind to help me enjoy my special day by giving me a bundle of wood so I can burn my fireplace, I'm so thankful 💕💕

This place can save you time and they have most everything that the big chain has. May be a little higher still reasonable.

I went to go find some screws. When I was looking for screws a nice young man, Aliber, approached me asking I needed help for anything. He helped me out and even helped me understand what I was looking for.

The store is located in a sketchy area, so it is advisable not to expect employees to leave your bags in plain sight. However, they help answer questions about specific products. The prices are a bit high, but it is convenient to shop there.

This guy Fred walk out after I asked for his help, his bank deposit was more important. Leaving inexperienced workers to help me with paint. After 30 minutes and a manager call later, we find out we have to wait for Fred to return. Not coming back ever!!

I purchased a best comfort heater a couple of weeks ago the first day no problem but second day heater would not work, it had no power or something third day I mess with the cord and came back on fourth day NO power again while looking at heater again cord the red light came back on but I heater tilted then laid heat flat down and it came on again it want work if it's upright like it supposed to be... but the lady and man that work there said the Exact same thing (Get the best comfort heater) they're flying off the shelf both said it great selling pitch. You guys was just trying to get rid of those ragley heaters. And I will not be going back to your store

Check products and ask questions cause I got a faulty water hose splitter myself, expensive but it leaks so much I should've gotten the cheaper one wouldn't have been as mad as I am! didn't even bother to take it back I live too far from them, o well 😭

i came today looking for some materials for a project im doing at home , once i walked in i was greeted by laci and once i needed help raul came and did an excellent job helping me with my situation

It's kinda small and has most of the common hardware items. A pretty good selection nuts, bolts, screws, washers, anchors, various fasteners, connectors, switches, and more for a quick repair. It's great when you need a screw or 2 or small part that's been lost, forgotten, broken or wrong size if you don't mind paying a higher price.

Ace hardware used to be a friendly type of store , helpful type of store. Of course its a lil more expensive than the home depot but don't mind paying extra if i walk in and get helped by an associate.....
