True Value in Dallas

I love the vibe here. They have the best prices on veggies to transplant and grow. Sometimes there's someone making sausages outside and giving them out. The chickens inside are so cute i just want to take them all home. They have a birthday party for George the rooster with cake and everything. They have everything from candles to grills, shovels, natural stuff, beeswax stuff, bee-keeping stuff, novelty stuff, toys, etc. I love this store.

Went to buy some paint, and Kareem helped me out picking the right primer and paint considering my project demands. He was very knowledgeable and nice. Customer service is great at this place!

Great place to shop. Employee's are helpful and friendly. They are also now carrying Orion vapes. Great flavors at N excellent price of $ 19.99 got 7500 puffs. Best price I have seen. Highly recommend this location. Has a hometown feel to it.

Unique family feel hardware store! The live animals are so much fun and the employees appear knowledgeable. Very friendly staff. Well stocked store. Lot of unique old fashioned items. Good children's section! Prices a little bit high. But I really love this store! Doesn't always stock everything you need but they're always very gracious about ordering it for you. Easy to get in and out quickly. Always has specials going and some form of entertainment. Homemade items and lots of Texas items. Whenever I have out of town guests I always come to this store to buy them items that have Texas on them or about them! It's a great store

ok, thats outta the way, I Needed copy of my car key. I had already purchased the replacement key, (Ford allows you to program your keys instead of having to go to the dealer and spend 200 bucks for a key). So, I just needed a copy made. Helpful employee Kirby (I hope I got that right) told me that normally they don't use a key that a customer brings in because if it's done wrong it could cause a problem with the customer, Told Kirby I trust him, and he copied away. Perfect match and charged me 4 bucks. This is the exact type of neighborhood store we should support because it's so unique. I will recommend to anyone that will listen and have a new home for any hardware needs. Sadly, it's almost jarring when you actually receive good customer support these days. Thanks to all, hope to shop again here soon.

Very bad service. The two guys in the front couldn't be bothered to help when I asked for help. I was interested in the wind spinners. Neither wanted to help and when I asked for assistance, the acted like they had more important things to do. Although they were just gossiping near the front. Customer service guys! That's how we keep business going.

The staff was very friendly and the place is so homey and clean!

I was overcharged, and I tried to explain that to the cashier, but everytime I would start to explain it, she would (very disrespectfully) cut me off, and just kept saying..."No, you're not looking at the screen correctly, it is right on my screen!!". Well....it wasn't, so now I am on my way back there to have my card reimbursed the amount she overcharged me, but I will have to wait 3-5 business days for that amount to go back into my account. Also, I am not all9wed in the store without a mask due to covid 19, and I am more thsn happy to wear my mask everywhere, as it keeps others safe around me, but it is frustrating when one employee was working with his mask off and under his chin. Anyway, I enjoy the store, and the other employees were very helpful and considerate, as they usually are. I am only posting this because this was not the 1st time this has occurred, by the same 2 employees.

My family and I were looking for some items when I felt like we were being watched. When I had questions regarding the merchandise, I felt alienated and antagonized. Will not be back. Seems like this place only cater to a certain group of people.😒

They also did not have custom glass cutting I don't think they had glass at all

They got everything you'll ever need to use around your house.

Got a small Weber grill for smoking hamburgers (and whatever else in the future). Spoke with a few employees asking advice. I'm a novice. Everyone was excited and helpful. Superfun place just to walk around and browse. Small Weber portable charcoal grill, Applewood chips, chimney starter, grill brush, charcoal. Came to about $75 for the grill and supplies. Burger Time!!

One of the employees let my 9 year old grand daughter pet one of the baby chicks. She was so happy.

Not your typical big box hardware store.

It had what we needed however I felt very alienated as my family and I were followed around closely. It's pretty obvious in such a small store.

This is a good place to find the hardware you need or just shop for something unique. The staff has always been helpful.
