Not gonna lie, this place has me daydreaming about all the possibilities for my home. Anyone who appreciates one-of-a-kind home consignment pieces, ranging from faucets and doorknobs to doors and chandeliers, among many other things, would absolutely love this shop/warehouse. I have purchased quite a few pieces here over the years, and they have all elevated my home to a museum-like level, all at a fraction of the price I would have paid for them new. The staff is really friendly and very helpful. It's such a treat visiting this treasure trove of fine items.

If you ever wake up thinking, “I desperately need a 1920s door hinge and a well-loved toilet,” this place has you covered. It’s like a treasure hunt, but instead of gold, you find vintage doorknobs, clawfoot tubs, and sinks that have seen things.

The selection is wild—ornate woodwork, antique windows, even stuff you didn’t know you needed until you saw it. Prices? Fair. Atmosphere? Somewhere between a museum and a very organized apocalypse.

If you love history, restoration projects, or just the thrill of finding something weird, this place is a must.

We needed another 6 panel door for a home remodel project. Jordan helped us find the right door. We saved $200 buying slightly used and got the perfect unit!

Such a fun store to browse! Really cool things repurposed and reclaimed from old stores and offices in the area. We have found some great things from here, including a beautiful empire chandelier, as well as some French garden flower pots. They even introduced us to the most inexpensive and reliable mover of items, Kent! Get his number from the front desk if you need to move something from the store to your home. You won’t be sorry.

The kindness of the staff is why I return to this business. We arrived four minutes before closing. We told the staff we traveled about a hour to get there.
They did not turned us away. They told us to take our time. So, we took our time looking for knobs and handles for our new kitchen cabinets. They knew the inventory better than us and once they knew what we were looking for they were able to locate 57 combinations that were perfect. Thank you guys so much and God bless you.

Owner was incredibly welcoming and the selection was great. Certainly worth just walking around and absolutely will come back. Went to two “similar” stores in Dallas the same day and it was night and day the difference in quality and cleanliness.

Amazing service and a ever changing selection. I wish they had some more tech integration so I could see their inventory online. (I understand the work involved to individually list everything is too much, but even surveillance cameras throughout would be great so I could “browse to see” ever so often without having to call or make the trip.

Nice selection staff very friendly and helpful, however have had past issues with same agent . Last visit had another issue being overcharged contacted was reassured that it would be reviewed and ultimately no response.

* I know where I shop and know who I dealt with. That next day we emailed and left voicemail and received call back from the Hispanic cashier who said she’d speak with manager to resolve issue as it wasn’t the first time she made mistake when ringing us out. I’m NOT going to dispute a charge over 20$ . However we’ve spent thousands throughout a period of 2 years but will NEVER spend another dime because this lady / agent / sales rep has made multiple errors and each time it is fixed . This past time we made sure to email and leave voicemail so assuming she erased them deleted them and swept this under the rug.

Super place to find one of a kind treasures.

My late mom used to take me shopping with her to lots of places, many of them what I would consider "offbeat" and off the beaten path. This is one of them. It's a Disneyland of repurposed treasures. The selection is extensive.

My friend Cyndi invited me to go with her to shop for cabinet hardware. She ended up finding everything she needed, with some help from the friendly staff.

It's a cool place to wander around aimlessly, even if you aren't looking for anything specific. Something will undoubtedly jump out and scream, "Buy me!"

We have been able to find some excellent pieces for our house renovation. The bathroom vanity was an amazing, one of a kind custom item. We have been able to find a kitchen cabinet set and are returning today for a set to add built in storage. I look forward to our trips here even though we're driving a few hundred miles

If you are into salvaged stuff, this place is a dream come true. Everything is so neat and organized as well, and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Just imagine the kid in the candy store if you're trying to redesign or upgrade or get a great deal on high quality items cuz if you're here you're that kid.

This place is Awesome.. I love the fact they take architectural items from older homes to salvage them from destruction. Repurpose the items. You cant buy this quality new, does not exist anymore. Have time to look around, hidden treasures. Think outside the box, somethings may have to be altered to fit what you want.

Despite us being some of the last customers allowed in for the day, the entire staff was still happy to see us and eager to help in any way possible. They were very attentive without being overbearing. Everyone in the store seemed knowledgeable and able to answer any questions or ideas we had about projects. Steven and one of the ladies (manager I am thinking) worked with us on our purchase of a repurposed buffet that we are going to use in our home which made my fiancee and I very grateful. I am definitely glad we made the trip there and plan on many return visits.

We've been perusing their selection for years for various projects. Have bought a number of items. Always had good selection and fair prices and been really good to deal with. And a great place to just look around, there's always interesting stuff.

The restaurants, bar, movie theaters and such are closed but DHW is open!
I took a set of bunk beds and put them in my backyard. Now they are raised beds for my garden. I wanted some old windows and doors to paint bright colors and put on the fence behind the beds. I found MORE than I wanted at DHW. Steven helped me. He knows where everything in and outside the warehouse is located. I had so much fun and bought a backyard of stuff I really needed. They have photos of their inventory and they add to it. Wandering through DHW is better than going to a museum or Wal-Mart. LOL Everyone appears healthy. OOPS I forgot and shook hands with Steven. I was so happy and grateful for my finds and Steven help.

I recommend this place for ALL your old and new home needs!! Steven helped me and it by far was the most amazing experience of my 61 years..... It literally could not have gone better . I am selling my 1920 Craftsman ( rental) for my retirement and wanted it to spruce it up. I got an entire kitchen for $750 and my granite that only.needs a little adjustment, for $400. I got a brand new Craftsman mahogany front and back door for $500. Are you serious???😍😍😍😍 crazy prices and wonderful people. I'll be back EVERY time I need anything for my home. I love Ann, and the boys who helped me load, several times, were so impeccable in their attention to detail and making sure all my loads were not going to come smashing down. How often does that happen? So impressed.

Discout Home used to be known as Architectural Salvage. They have lots of things for Renovation like doors, antiques, old art deck lights, lots of chandeliers and bathroom vanities and antique hardware like knobs, hinges, everything old but all trending. I went to find a vessel sink, but they were out which is rare. I love this place!

I absolutely love this place! If you go be sure and set out some good time because it's large and there's a lot of stuff to look at. If you happen to run across Chris ask him what you're looking for because he knows exactly where everything is. He's incredible. This place is intended for those who are looking to find some history character to put in their home. It's not typically the type of stuff you see on the new modern houses. This is classic antique architecture. 100%! And it's fantastic. We go and we find projects and other items that we didn't realize that we were looking for so be cautious. You may walk out of there with a wall sconce or two that you weren't anticipating. Just because they're amazing! Most recently we had to repair a section of our floor. Our house is from 1929 and we found some wood flooring that was an exact match to our floor. It was perfect!

This place is unfathomable! The most amazing things that people are willing to throw in the trash this place sells for salvage pricing for mint condition interiors and exteriors of some of Texas’ finest homes. Truly a treasure chest of awesome and inspirational one of a kind pieces.

If your looking for complete kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, appliances, sinks & faucets, windows, doors, complete entryways, hardwood flooring, mantels, blinds, light fixtures, ceiling fans, arbors, lawn sculptures, fountains, iron gates & fencing, pavers, HVAC systems, instant hot water heaters, central vacuums and everything in between. I bought a $795.00 kitchen faucet for $20.00! Go check it out and have some fun!

Prices are over the top high like light fixtures for example, they are more expensive than brand new and made in China. There are no deals to be had here. I may give it another try when I get ready to buy shutters.

Prices are too high and they don't have a very good selection of items. A few years ago they had a overflowing store and moderate prices....bummed that it wasn't very good this time.

Lots of great stuff for the home. Lots of selection! People are genuinely happy to help...were not pushy or overbearing. I wish I had a bigger house that would accommodate some of their larger pieces - well-worth some time for exploring.
