Recently I had a great experience at the garden center in Lowe's (Dallas, Lemon Ave.). From the moment I walked in, their associates asked me if they could help with anything. An especially big thank you to Pablo A Holgwin and Carlos Alejandro! They are very knowledgeable about the location of merchandise at the store and helped me get everything I needed in no time at all. Also, they gladly loaded the heavy stuff in my car.
Tonight I had to rush in and get paint samples for a project that I was working on the next day I was lucky to run into an employee named Melanie (Latina young lady with long hair in low polytail) who's helped me in the past. She was very quick and able to assist me with the limited amount of time she was able to help me identify the color I was looking for which was a beautiful sage green without having any details or color information. I want personally say thank you so much for your patience and for your ability to still have customer service when you're about to close your store . it means the world to me and I hope that your higher-ups recognize your ability to be kind, efficient, and productive under tight time expectations. You rock.
Today I went into Lowe’s to return and also buy new things. Both employees at the returns were assisting other customers so I patiently waited 5-7min until one was open.
Lakeitha was the associate who helped me. I was excited to go to her based on how I heard and saw her treating the previous customer. I go up and she was very rude from the beginning. Immediately “what are we doing, checking out or returning?” I tell her “I am returning these two items in exchange for” she says “so a return, we don’t do exchanges.” I tell her “ok.”
She proceeds to scan my receipt and the items I was returning. Then she scans 1 of the items I was going to purchase in exchange, and says “that item is not on the receipt.” I responded with “I know it’s not because I’m purchasing this in exchange.” She then tells me “well why did you let me scan this item then?” I responded with “I was trying to tell you.”
This whole interaction was hostile for absolutely no reason. It is important to note that the customer she was previously assisting was a Caucasian woman. She was super nice and polite with her but hostile with me. This is my second negative encounter at 2 Lowe’s locations here in Dallas.
Do better, Lowe’s.

All those men in the back that had pallet jacks lifting hundreds of pounds of soil they all need to be fired because they flat-out refused to assist me.
Daniel Spalding went above and beyond to help me find the washers and dryers I needed. I received an exceptional costumer service experience. He was knowledgeable and helped me find what I was looking for very fast. He made sure all my questions were answered and I was extremely happy with the level of costumer service I received from him. I will definitely be coming back to Lowes for all my household needs.

I've been looking for a pergola and I found one at Lowe's website. Now I'm trying to find out how much it would cost to have it assembled/installed... and THAT has been a nightmare.
I first tried to CHAT—which was pretty easy to connect with an agent—but guess what? The agent asked me to CALL 888-516-1010. So I did, and they don’t do pricing over the phone. The person kindly helped me get transferred to the store (physical), but unfortunately, I got disconnected.
So I looked up and found the store number (214-259-0021) and called twice. Both times I was transferred to the installation department, and apparently, they don’t pick up phone calls. So I tried for the THIRD time to call and get a damn price. Before I got transferred again, I asked the agent to make sure someone was available. I waited for 4 minutes until the agent returned and said:
"I spoke to my manager and we don’t do installations of pergolas."
So I asked: "OK, but Lowe’s sells the product—you must have someone to refer your customers to."
She said: "I don’t have any. You’ll have to figure it out."
FIGURE IT OUT.
This is why you are CHEAP—because you hire silly employees, don’t train them, don’t care about customers whatsoever, and don’t have a clue what CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE means!
They no longer take returns without a receipt. Not just at this store, but company wide.
My go to store
Waited at tool area for 30 minutes asking for tool to be unlocked, 10 staff members standing around pointing at each other. Go to Home Depot!

Came in at 6:33 am tried to get help finding a moving box that said it’s 15 in stock. The customer service called someone to come over and help me and no one showed up! But a group of employees are sitting down in the back talking but don’t want to help.
They have changed their hours back to 10pm.

Not happy they changed their hours to 9pm….at all. They were always busy right up until 10pm.
I have to drive 30 miles now to the closest store open until 10.

This Lowe's always has item listed that are not in stock I purchased a door came to get it and they sold it to somebody else and didn't wanna find another at another store told me to find it 👎👎👎👎👎

The employees are so good at pointing to where items are in the store. God forbid they take you to what you're looking for.
I came in this morning not knowing the name of the thing I was trying to buy and Connie figured out exactly what it was and brought me to the aisle. Super kind, very informative, didn’t make me look dumb and helped me to be efficient!

We make orders online for us to pick up, but we can pick up everything in one trip due to your stores contently being out of stock of simple supplies and having to wait and make constant trips to pick up a basic order
Today’s trip to Lowe’s for two shelving units. The instacart app got me to the bay within minutes but it was empty of the units. A couple of young men were on it quickly and located a pallet of them a few aisles over. They didn’t have the right lift even though one of the young men was at the top of the bay and only needed to grab two shelving units I needed. Instead another pallet lift was called in to action and 20 minutes later he was there. He first had to block the aisle along with another employee. A few more minutes pass… he eventually elevated the pallet jack up to the shelving units and lowered it to the ground. He then took out two of the units I needed and I thought he would bring them to me, but instead, for some reason, returned the pallet of shelving units back up on top of the bay. Again there were none where they were supposed to be and anyone else wanting this item, will have to go through what I did. So after he replaced the pallet up to the top and lowered the jack back down. He then walked over and handed me the shelving units. I ended up spending over 40 minutes in this store for two items, even though I found them within 5 minutes of entering the store. Instacart shopper and don’t have this kind of time.
I like it I guess, Just to be Different. Lol

Great store with surprisingly lower prices then their competitors. The Lowes at Lemmon and Inwood is well stocked and they have a great customer service focused employees. Great place to shop, I look forward to my next trip there.

Just a bought a brand new gas dryer after 2 days the heat is not working properly. Call the customer service about the issue, and they told me that I can’t return the item due to its pass 48 hrs policy. OMG! Now I have to deal the manufacturer about the warranty and repair.
Was here on a Sunday morning at 7am, manager told us waiting outside that they are having a team meeting and we’re not going to open on time, when asked what time will they open, he couldn’t say. They opened at 7:32

Emilio deserves a MASSIVE pay raise!!!! An absolute gem to run into during a Lowe's visit. He knew the store like the back of his hand and customer service was second to none. I've never been more pleased with a Lowe's or Home Depot experience ever.
Quick trip for heaters due to snow storm due in 48 hours. Woody was very helpful helping me figure out which oil filled heater to purchase. Everyone was helpful. Quick 15 min visits for 4 necessities

Terrible customer service. 3 people did not help and they still cancel orders without the customer's authorization. Most likely they are stealing them. I do not recommend it. Look for another store to buy things. It's been more than a week and they have never returned my money and they say it's ready for pick up and my order was cancelled by workers who want to steal the merchandise.
Ok so I needed 10,000 dollars of material guys here said they can’t move material due to them being to b-z and this is the place where it’s so called number 1 place where the help you and all this this is bull been here waiting more than 45 min and no help either they are too lazy to bring material down because it’s not even bz now I have to go to another Lowe’s hopefully they can help there 😞

Not enough trained staff
No communication at all, was expecting a delivery which was delayed one hour before delivery cut off, which I found out from the website. I wasn’t informed of any issues, I was never emailed about the delay and when I call the store. Several hours before the delivery cut off time, I was told that there was no issue and to expect my delivery by end of day. Well here I am still waiting after several attempts to contact the store and leaving my contact details just to wait even longer just to find out why my delivery wasn’t delivered. Still haven’t received any response, no email, no phone call and even the website just says it’s been delayed but no other information has been provided. As a new pro member this is the worse customer service experience to date because who knows when I’ll receive any from of communication. Terrible experience I’ll be sure to never shop at this Lowe’s location again if this is how they treat their customers!
Brad Murphy sales specialist reached out to me when I was just walking around the appliance department thinking about replacing my dishwasher instead of repairing it. Brad guided me through the plus and minus for different options and he found an Amanda on sale that fit my need perfectly. Super helpful guy he is! Thank you Brad!! Ron

Waited over 40 minutes to get help in the flooring department. Hector helped me but was unable to complete the job since he is not from that department. Guy working in flooring at night never helped me even tho he saw walking and waliking

I hate how much stuff has been locked away at Lowe's. I know it's to prevent theft but there are not enough people to assist in getting things for you. I went in a Saturday afternoon needed a spool of wire. After I pressed the hell button I waited over 15 minutes. Turned out no one was working the electrical department that day and I took a manager to help me. He then tried to get me to sign up for a Lowe's credit card. I'm tired of the lack of trust they have with their customer base. Some many things are locked up and they need to walk you to the check out to buy it! You can't really keep shopping after they help you. Thank you for making everyone feel as though you think we will all steal from you.
Purchased flooring here that had a quality control issue.
I called flooring department several times. They said they would submit a warranty for me. They left me a voicemail saying I need to call some installation department even though I didn’t install the product through Lowe’s and the issue is completely with quality control.
Now I can’t reach anyone there.
Walked into Lowe’s this morning around 8am and 7 different people said “good morning, can I help you find something?” Very helpful team! And this is the difference between Lowe’s and Home Depot!
I knew Lowes would have what I needed. They always do. But I wasted my time in not one, but two...other almost-hardware stores. Bonus points for the harassment free experience. No one tried to sell me a fence, roof or cell phone plan...and no one touched my purchases outside while I fetched my car.

Dear Customer of Lowes do to Lowes continue business practice with Synchrony Bank I would like to let every know not to do business with this corporation. When I was told they would started charging for the paper statement to receive my bill each month I call them up and has them to waive this fee. Do to them declining to do this I then has them to close my account and tell me the pay off amount. The agent quote me a amount and a check was send to Lowes. Now serve month later they continue to send me a statement and try and charge me the fee for it when the account is suppose to be closed. So has promised I am starting to leave a negative review and let people know how they treat there customer.
I want to thank Alberto and Dale for taking their time to help us out with our flooring. They didn’t make us wait over 1min yet Home Depot made us wait over 20min and never got helped. So thank you again. Lowe’s Customer service is the best !
Miguel from the store was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We bought a washer and dryer. The two gentlemen that delivered the machines were also very friendly and fast to complete the install. Highly recommend!

While I was waiting for her to find my microwave I had at least 3 other store associates ask if I needed help. Obviously a good store culture here with happy employees that want to help you out. I have been waiting until our kitchen has been completed to write about this total fiasco. However, another roadblock today. I don’t have time to go into details, but we’ve been without a kitchen (gutted) since right before Christmas ‘23. Here it is, June 10th. We were finally going to have the final part of the job completed tomorrow (backsplash), but once again, a screw up. We are the elders of a large family, and have all the holidays here. So far, we’ve missed Christmas, New Years Eve (also my birthday), and Easter. Not to mention my granddaughters baby shower and a graduation celebration. We’ve also spent a small fortune eating out, and I’ve had difficulty staying on my anti-inflammatory diet for my severe arthritis. Which subsequently has resulted in a significant increase in my chronic pain! I have a litany of problems we’ve had with mainly the installers, but with Lowe’s as well. I just wanted to give a warning before I get into the real “meat and potatoes” of the issues.
Really good prices
I purchased a Firman 6700 W generator yesterday for $1100. Took it home and put it together according the directions. Couldn’t get it to start. Took it to Lowe’s today and they couldn’t get it to start. They said they won’t do exchange or refund - they never informed us of that during the purchase. Terrible customer service.
I wanted a particular door lock and it was not in stock. However, Customer Service manager, Idaly, found a store that had the lock. Then she called the store to confirm they had it and asked them to hold it for me at the service counter. Wow! She went above and beyond to ensure I continue to be a loyal and satisfied customer. Thank you Idaly for your fantastic assistance.
There alright there just to pricey
Poor customer service. I was in the store selecting plants for 1 hour. The gate to the Garden Center was locked when I arrived around 7:30 am. I called customer service about 8:00 am to ask that the gate be opened so that I may choose other plants outside the gate. The store manager grumbled about not being able to open the cash register. To which I said, “Okay, will you open the gate?” After waiting for about 20 minutes the gate was not opened. The store opens at 7:00 am. Needless to say, if this Lowe’s cannot open all parts of the store as scheduled on the website, do they expect people to shop at this location? Shopping at this location was a waste of time and energy.
Lawn n garden was understaffed as no one offered assistance to either myself or my mother.

The website said it was in stock, and I could pick it up in 3 hours with free assembly. It took a month.
They charged and refunded my card like 6 times.
After I ordered it, they told me it wasn't in stock.
Then when it arrived they tried to cancel my order because, and I quote "our assembly team was supposed to show up today but they didn't so we are cancelling"
So I had to convince them to not cancel my order I had paid for.
Nearly 4 weeks of waiting later it was assembled and I picked it up after waiting 40 minutes (!) at curbside for them to find it.
I went into Lowes to research a few items. Along the way, I encountered three associates. All three were happy, helpful, and knowledgeable. I spend a lot of money at Lowes, and I appreciate the help I receive, the quality of the products I buy, and the deals I can get.
I love this location, Dale is the best! Opening a bar and need a lot of help with the build out portion. He is so helpful knowledgeable & cool. My remodel would be a lot worse off without his insight. Thanks!!! 🤘🤘🤘

There's a rude little girl here that was working at front self checkout that found it hilarious my tax exempt didn't go through. I could hear her talking and laughing about me right Infront of me she wasn't very far at all.. I don't believe she knew I spoke English. Very unprofessional.

I needed help in lawn and garden at 8:30 am. An employee told me to find a person wearing a green vest. I could not find one. I asked the cashier in lawn and garden, he told me two were on duty. He did not offer to call anyone. I walked each isle with no luck. I went to self checkout and purchased two items. At home depot people came to me before I even asked for help. I got my items and spent $250 with their help. I also cut up my lowes credit card. Won't be back to lowes.

Near me easy to get things for the house if needed

I had a sink installation scheduled over the last weeks through your subcontractors, which I have paid for. I have had a total of 4 no shows to install the sink. After the first 2 no shows, we realized that the water had to be turned off to the complex in order to put the sink in and replace valves. I had this scheduled for Friday February 1st before I had to go out of town. The plumber did not show. Then I contacted the gentleman from Lowes to reschedule for today because I knew I had to have the water turned off and he assured me someone would be out today. I even tried calling him and the plumber and no one took my call after having the water shut off to the entire condo complex for the second day. I had to hire an emergency plumber for $900 to come and install the valves because I had a short window of opportunity with the water off.
This has caused undo stress, financial burden and grotesque inconvenience due to your company's blatant incompetence. I now have to hire my own plumber and spend an ungodly amount of money to have this installed properly which is legally damage due to your company's negligence. This is not fair.
Please stop rearranging your store planogram. From week to week nothing is ever where it was the last time.

Manager Lisa was rude with me, she can't be the manager of the store, instead to take care she just make problem. She say any store are different and we never have any problem with another store.

My customer experience was less than satisfactory. If I'm being completely honest, it was downright unwelcoming. I've been a customer at this Lowes for years and unfortunately i will now have to take my business across the street to HD or to the Lowe's by galleria. The general manager is more than welcome to reach out for further details. I will also be reaching out to the corporate feedback line and whomever is in charge of customer relations and retention. My concern may fall on deaf ears but hopefully they can use my experience as a coaching opportunity for the site level staff.

I had a great experience across the board during the purchase of my new Whirlpool washer and dryer. The sales rep was thorough and pleasant. The delivery guys Jorhe and Jose were awesome. They were on time, and it didn't take them long at all. Great job!

Having trouble speaking to anyone on the phone. We live in Louisiana and somehow our pickup location was changed. When we realized I’ve tried several times to call the store and no one answers or I get put on hold. The cancel option is not available on my online account or I would have done that.
Walked in to return some $5 electrical tape without a receipt (lost it and the bank gave me a new debit card number) from a big project. I was told they are the flagship store to try out a new return policy. Where they deny all no receipt returns. How frustrating for just $5. I won't be back to this store and if that's adopted for all their stores I'll shop elsewhere.
So the store itself is fine every time I go, nice and clean blah blah blah but, the fact that you do not have access to lockers where they put items that you pay for online outside of their business hours. So when the store closes, so does your opportunity to retrieve the item which you have already paid for. Why in the hell do you not just put the lockers outside of the store so I can retrieve said items whenever I jolly well want to because I have already paid for them.
Service here is OUTSTANDING!
Standard Lowe's selection. This Lowe's has a slightly smaller footprint. However, it is still possible to find all the plants the larger Lowe's will carry. One thing I find helpful is to use the Lowe's app and search for specific items so it can direct me to the right rows.
Fast! And the losses staff person was super nice!
I went to purchase flooring that was on clearance. The employee in the flooring department was extremely helpful along with the young man that helped me load the flooring in my car.

The experience was great, an the prices are fair, just bought a Washer this year 2023, an they delivered it on time, with the appliance's to go with the Washer. Customer service, called before they deliver, delivery guy where presentable, and they also hook up the appliance's with in minutes. I recently came to purchase a washer/dryer and a new gas range from the Lemmon Ave. store. My sales person in appliances was Miguel Martinez. He was professional and most helpful the entire way thru the process. I would certainly recommend him to others.
