The Home Depot in Dallas

As far as the products/materials go, you know what Home Depot has. It's a thorough home improvement store. What makes this location a winner is the people. I'm not sure what has changed. Maybe it was staff training or a change in management. But whatever the reason, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff have improved 100 fold. It's really night and day. Now I don't have to search for someone to help me find what I need. Rather, I'm greeted by every staff member and each is very ready to help. Keep it up because it's really appreciated. It makes it a pleasure to shop there.

Long haired kid named Austin and frankly he should be part owner of the place. He took ownership of everything within his eye sight. This is likely one of the best Home Depots I’ve ever been to.

One of the best customer service in a long time at this location. Martin from plumbing was very helpful taking the customer care service above and beyond. He took the time to explain and assist us with a quick solution not only saving us money but mainly TIME. In some occasions while walking back and forth from different store aisle, it felt like the goal was to make sure the we left the store with a 100% satisfactions guaranteed. Mission accomplished!!!

Only one employee tried to help, but when she didn't know the lock combination she put in an overhead page. No one has come yet. This sucks. Ill give it another couple minutes and then just try the Lowe's around the corner. Wasted lunch break.

Don’t let them hook you with the protection warranty. I purchased it it’s not even from them you would have to go thru Allstate and they give you a run around. My drill give out at work they couldn’t swap it out. Would have to go thru Allstate or manufacturer. Took my business to Lowe’s has a higher customer satisfaction.

The price advertised, even tge price posted is not rings up at cash register. Everytime, I have to waltz a manager back to the item, show them their price advertised....they then call back to confirm" he's right ..our mistake" adding 20 mins onto tge trip.

In this store, in the tool area, there is Mr. José, who always helps you find any tool if you need it. José is very efficient. He helped me find what I was looking for in the tool department.

I recently visited the Home Depot in a wealthy neighborhood and rated my experience 4 stars. While their customer service is commendable—something you'd expect given the clientele—there was a significant hiccup with my order. I had arranged for a delivery, promised for the next day at 5 PM, but when the time came, there was no delivery. After 50 hours without any updates, I decided to call. To my surprise, I was informed that my items were on backorder and wouldn't arrive for about a month.

Ultimately, I chose to cancel my order. I then turned to Amazon, where I found the same product for over $60 less. I placed the order, and to my delight, it arrived at my doorstep the very next day. This experience highlights the importance of timely communication and the benefits of exploring multiple shopping options.

They have everything you need however when i needed assistance i had two workers that seemed to be avoiding me when i needed help after i asked 3 times for help. I never got assistance in the end and ended up getting help from a customer instead.

I purchased a couple of heat lamp bulbs for my greenhouse and managed to keep it warm enough for my plants to survive

Too many people not enough cashier's to keep up with demand I asked for help too over 20 mins for associate to come and help will go to Lowe's next time instead not worth the hassle and wait

Bad customer service. Needed help on aisle 15 bay 005 for a power tool that needed an associate to unlock the product. Ask an associate by the entry/exit door and she said she would call someone to come and help. After 25 minutes of waiting I call the store by phone. They said they would call someone to come and help. No one did. If I could put a ZERO ⭐️ I would. I ended up leaving the store.

I used curbside pickup. It was fantastic. I was there no longer than 5 minutes.

I love this store, I come here all the time because I always have projects close to here, the only think I don’t like is the “soliciting”, there is always people outside pushing you to buy something.

I got to the point that i have to park far to avoid them. Some of them put you in a very uncomfortable position.

After buying PVC pipe for a project, I needed to cut to fit in my car and after much deliberation, an associate named Terry tried to help me, but she could not find a cutter large enough so Martin came to my rescue. He had cut my PVC pipe with a saw not just to fit in my car, but forto the exact measurements I needed. This is way above and beyond. I was desperate and you came through for me. This is now my go to for anything I need without question! Thanks again Martin!

My grandparents bought a new fridge here a couple of days ago, and when the installer came on 10/31 they messed up installation of the hinge and now it doesn't shut properly. We called the store multiple times and no one ever answers. The 2 times they answered someone put us on hold and then hung up. My grandfather went up there today to ask for help and they refused to help, saying we should have called by yesterday. This is ridiculous that after buying a new fridge and warranty that we get no assistance. The installer made the error, he should fix it. They told us to call the manufacturer. We will never shop from home depot again.

This is my favorite store. I am a woman, but I am a woman who works in construction and I love tool stores 👷‍♀️!🥰🤭

Terrible Customer Service at the Pro Counter. If you do not want to work then quit. This would be an absolute no with my employees. You are not entitled to whatever you think you are entitled to. Have respect and common courtesy and at least pretend like you want to help or get in a different field.

Behr paint lady was super helpful. I'm a DIYer, but not an expert on anything really. She convinced me that it was more efficient and less costly to buy a more expensive (Behr) paint and apply less coats than to buy a "cheaper" paint and wind up applying 5 coats for the same results.

I was shocked there's 4.3 stars. I've never seen a place service a certain demographic of people and the place not reflect it AT ALL. I've gone here three times. All three times were bad. Everyone who comes to Home Depot, comes in a TRUCK, yet the parking spaces are made for cars... there are so close together that people are forced to park in the spot slanted which causes others to not be able to get into their truck or vehicles. Not only that, when someone comes out a parking space, everyone has to wait and I mean everyone. That's how small the parking lot is. Inside, I see workers aimlessly walking around or on their phone while long lines are at the checkout. Home Depot wants to prevent theft but trying to find a team member to open a locked shelf, your wait time is at least 10 mins. That's if you don't happen to find someone lucky with the key right near. When its time to checkout, lines are ling which create wait times which create wait times for the customers we are servicing. If I can't get supplies efficiently so my business can do well, then whats the point of using Home Depot?It's an overall terrible experience and definitely this location is being crossed off my list for good.

I called before I came to ask if they had any Sod. It was confirmed they did, so I came 15 minutes later. Lo and behold, no sod. The Garden employees then told me the haven’t had sod for some time. I’m only giving 2 stars because the garden employees actually tried to ask around for me about the sod. Either go to the Skillman location or just go to the Lowes across the street!

I recently visited the Home Depot located at Lemmon ave Dallas on 7/26/2024, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.
One crew member, in particular, cashier Julie . Despite my attempts to explain what I needed, they seemed uninterested and unresponsive. This lack of support made my shopping experience frustrating and unproductive.
As a loyal Home Depot customer, I expect a certain level of service,This visit left me reconsidering where to shop for my home improvement needs. I hope Home Depot takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service.

I would give this location zero stars if I could. There was one mini fridge left on the shelf and no one would get it for me since they said they didn’t have anyone in that department. Also, they wouldn’t hold it for me either to come pick up later. To make it even more complicated they said if I bought it online, I couldn’t pick it up for a week even though I could literally see the product in the store. They STILL don’t have tap to pay. GET APPLE PAY PLEASE 🙏🏻

My recent visit to Home Depot was a bit daunting as I needed an adapter for my kitchen pipe to connect to a garden hose, but I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. Thankfully, after reaching out to several store employees, Glen came to our rescue. His extensive knowledge and helpful attitude were invaluable, and he guided us to exactly what we needed. We're incredibly grateful for his assistance.

We were trying to make a phone sale with my contractor and they kept saying our card was declining because they thought we were trying to scam for $165 dollars. The Manager was lying saying my card was declining when my bank was showing no transactions and the Indian guy on the phone said my husbands card was declining. So my husband had to drive 40 minutes to pay in person after getting off work just for the same card to work when he gets there. I wish he got their names because they’re were rude and thinking they were in fraud support when we weren’t doing any fraud. It’s a shame yall don’t get paid enough to waste peoples time like that. Also if u look at the account u will see we spent over 70,000 in Home Depot from years of renovations. Will be sure calling corporate.
They know who to choose to do this too. Dam shame.

This location sucks, customer service is virtually non-existent. Tons of employees walking around the store during the daytime, but they're too busy talking to each other to actually interact with customers.

They sell Milwaukee so will always be better than lowe's

GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT NEEDS. I placed an online order of topsoil for a lawn project at this store and received an email that my order was ready within the timeframe they provided. I showed up after giving them an entire 24 hours, just for good measure, and selected the curbside pickup option as directed. After waiting 25 minutes at curbside with no update, I decided to go inside and check with customer service. I learned that not only had my order not even been pulled (“that’s a big order so we don’t actually pull it ahead of time”), but that still no one had even started pulling it despite me letting the store know I’d arrived 25 minutes ago. I ended up having to go pull my own order for which I’d already paid and 33 bags in, I learned that the store didn’t even have enough readily on hand to fulfill my order. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for a store member to find a forklift and bring down an overstock pallet, but at least that meant they helped me load the remaining 7 bags, right? Even then, no one from customer service or otherwise assisted me with bringing out and loading the 40 bags into my car for, again, my CURBSIDE PICKUP ORDER. I am not unreasonable. I understand some orders may be too large to fulfill in this way. But if that is the case, there is no reason the store should offer the curbside pickup option for orders that don’t qualify. This store needs to figure out its processes and certainly retrain on customer service. The Home Depot completely failed me as a customer today, and I won’t be spending my money here again.

I was at this place today and the lady that attended me at the register was just rude and lazy I had to take things out of the shopping car so she can scan the items she say that that wasn't her job there for if I wanted her to scan it I had to do that I just smile and did it but where was the customer service there

Helpful and friendly. Found someone to help me lift a bag of quick-level and bring it to my car which was a huge help since my back hurt.

I ordered a Hot Water heater 1 week before it was available for me to pick up however, it said on their website that they had 36 in stock. The product that I ordered was beat up. I paid full price for it and the condition of the water heater is dented. Also, it took 7 days for my order to be in stock. I was without hot water and I live in the Metro city of Dallas, just 3 miles from the HOME DEPOT store. What the heck is the issue?

Loudyle in customer service was a fantastic help at this store. I have been to 3 different home depots in search of a particular in store clearance item. Other stores more or less said i was wasting my time looking for it because it seems to disappear. Loudyle was not like the others and walked with me to help me find it successfully. She was the nicest.

I am fond of the depot. There are always better discount pricing surprises in store than what you read in the ads. How I snagged that 179 weed eater for 99 potatoes is beyond me, but legit since they lock up all the goods now and must personally service your requests. Home Depot is constant. It's the best place to go to spend money on work.
