My experience shopping at Home Depot Forest Lane, was great with the help of Mr Mark the elderly man at Aisle 11, he helped me and my husband with all the information he needed to start up a career as an electrician apprenticeship,I was amazed at how well he was informed about products and services and I will really like to thank him for making my shopping experience worth the while. Thank you Mark.!Kudos
First of all I want to say that home depot is always on point except for this time. I purchased these 5 posts as an upgrade to my home, my dad and I dug the " so called " best ones from the bottom of the stack. They held up well at first but started splitting after one week! I am truly disappointed and my father is considering closing out his home depot credit card and switching to Lowes. We are extremely frustrated and overwhelmed by the poor quality home depot has to offer their customers now.
I love this Home Depot, and also the one in Frisco. This location has a great Garden Center with knowledgeable employees. They are always helpful with tools and supplies for my art studio. Today, I’m writing this review because they went above and beyond. I placed an order online and didn’t realize curbside pickup ends at 6. Two people helped me, put the order together, talked with my dog, and brought it out to me when they really didn’t have to. THANK YOU! To Jason for being so nice!
Update! Since the original post we have seen a huge improvement at this location with staff and professionalism. It makes all the difference to be greeted with helpful staff. Great work for turning this location around!!
———
Truly awful. No customer service and rude staff. And to make it worse - it was the ‘customer service’ people who were rude. Will move my business to Lowes from now on.
Pam in the plumbing department was very knowledgeable & helpful. She patiently listened to my plumbing problem and presented me with good options to make the repairs. Very sharp & kind person. Thanks Pam!
On 2 recent trips to Home Depot (Forest Lane and Central Expy) for purchases, we were assisted by 2 different people who deserve recognition.
Porchea, in the Garden Center
and
Dina in the paint department
Porchea was very helpful in assisting us with plant selection and Dina helped choose and mix colors in the paint department.
Thanks to them, we got what we needed and are happy with our purchases.

The best home improvement store in the land.
The best Home Depot in the area , I have been in many other Home Depot locations and this have the best service.👍
Better off ordering off of Amazon. So you have the exact date you’ll receive something. They just give you a date that sounds good so you can order and then delay the order once you’ve paid
Not for this location exclusively, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels the advertised spirit of helpfulness is missing from the stores' environment.
Probably the worst Home Depot I've been to every time I come here I get disappointed last time I came I had a worker they tried to accuse me of stealing a drink that or a seat tape to it this time I came and asked for urethane you know an adhesive you know the type of stuff you use for construction had a guy in the adhesive Department tell me know they don't have any urethane adhesive in Home Depot then went one all over found it and had to give the guy coaching on how to make sure to listen to customers questions so as to try and maybe properly service them instead of just dismissing them like he doesn't give a darn and doesn't want to sell anything. There is another Home Depot on the other end of Forest Lane maybe 5 Mi away I suggest you go there or even go to the one on Lemmon Avenue over near Park Cities Lemmon Avenue and Inwood go over there but this one it's just extremely not worth your time the workers are ghetto and they don't want to help anything so please don't waste your time coming here
Usually the cheapest price and more varieties
Things you need they have it! Awesome

Has the stuff!
I'm disabled so Home Depot, the store was clean & easy to get to as well as getting in & back out of my vehicle. The employees asked if we needed help & even walked me to my items. Very pleasant employees.
Got the generator I eanted
Lovely pro team and management!
The other day I found myself at home Depot with what I thought was a fairly straightforward question. Turns out I was wrong. I then found myself wandering the isles without a clue of what my first step would be. Thankfully, Miss Edna recognized my confusion. And after me barely explaining my problem to her, she quickly set me in the right direction finding me the best associate to speak with. A great big thanks to Edna for her help and patience.
As a professional window and gutter cleaner with his own business, Dallas Windows and Gutter Cleaning, this is the place I go for my contractor needs!
Staff are friendly and good custmer service
The staff were very helpful and respectful. I love them.
Not as cruising the bathroom as I remember back in the 90s but still a great place to get what you need
Fast checkout
No question the home Depot is just about the only resource other than lowe's... I was unable to rent a backhoe because my driver's license is kind of messed up even though it's not illegal for me to drive.. I can't rent the backhoe with my license so I needed a friend that I didn't have... Better luck next time.. it's not like I don't buy $70 worth of stuff a year there anyway.. Go home Depot exclamation point
Always has what im looking for and staff has improved in customer service.
This is a very clean Home Depot. Always stocked.
Bad customer service and no one answers phone calls. I called all morning on my way even called while there to see they ignore terrible the only home Depot that careless towards the customers needing information that's should be provided by phone!!
Well stocked. Frendly staff. Easy checkout.
Finding a staff member in the aisles to help you find something, or see if they even have it, is a real hit or miss. Sometimes you can find one right away, sometimes you're literally walking through the whole store, once or twice before you find a staff member. For that reason, I'm giving the store three stars. In general, there's nothing bad about the store other than access to its personnel.
Signed up for my first credit card here but looks like I’m never going to shop here because there was no help provided at all. Waited an hour for help at the power tools & get a charger but didn’t get any assistance & kept being told “someone is coming.” This is horrible service & looks like I’m just going to stay with Lowe’s
Friendly and helpful staff with lots of followup. Worked with multiple people to search for a bracket. I had Lettakaye look through the website for me. The Mgr Nicole was the first person saw when walking up to the door and she greeted me. My first experience like this at home depot.
Todo lo k ocupas para remodelar tu casa
Today I received excellent customer service at this location. A lot of times the service isn’t the best. Either because of short staff or too busy.
I have a bad back and needed to grab (45) CMU blocks.
For those who don’t know, that’s half a pallet full.
Lifting and raising them into my lifted truck isn’t easy. With no forklift operator becoming available, ADRIAN said he would help me load them by hand because he felt bad I was waiting for so long.
Much appreciated sir. I won’t forget this.
🤝
Trash service. 45 minutes to get a dolly down. Manager rude as hell. Never shop here again

Mal servicio tengo 20 minutos y no atienden
I came to this location a couple of months ago and right away Johnny was incredibly helpful. He was by door greeting, I asked him a question about finding an item and he not only walked me there but when the item wasn’t in the location it normally was, he found out where else it was on display in the store. Johnny made the experience great, on a day where my AC was broken and I was looking for something to help!
Krystal at the paint dept here was a very pleasant & helpful lady. She was expedient & congenial. With customer service like hers, why go anywhere else? Lowes, take note. Also other HD associates do take note as well. When needing help searching for the right paint, look up Krystal at HD/CentralExpy&Forest.
I wanted to buy something which was supposed to be available since I checked the website.
I was told by an employee when the stock drops below 10(it said 7 on the website) it's not updated anymore and thus now stock was 0.
The people here are the rudest. No one can look you in the face nor ask if you need help. People need training in manners at their jobs these days
I really like this home Depot. The workers were helpful.
Variedad
Don’t expect the employees at this location to provide you with advice on projects. Seems no one here has much handy work knowledge
The staff is the most helpful and always the first sunday or saturday of the month they give out free kid kits to kids and
flowers are daily watered to them alive and floor is pretty clean.

Love to shop in Home Depot
Welcoming
Very friendly and approachable staff
Worst. Home Depot. Ever. The people here don’t want to do their jobs and just stand around.
Never have I been told at any Home Depot that they would not help me load material in my truck. I guess this one is different.
Cashier rushed to close my ticket. I wanted my receipt emailed to me. But he just closed my ticket
No aceptan pagos con tu tarjeta el celular solo cash o card actualícensen por favor
Would like to give recognition to a great worker, Marshall. He’s always very polite, cheerful, & always extends a helping hand, whether it be help in locating an item in the store, or transporting & loading my merchandise to/in my vehicle. Absolutely outstanding service from this employee, could use more workers like him at every Depot location.
Thanks!! For letting me buy black Spray paint for my bike. 🖤
My favorite hardware store
It was my first time coming here and y’all need to water those poor plants dying due to lack of water. It’s been very hot these days and the plants that were set outside were all dried up because no one was watering them. If you can’t show responsibility in taking care of those plants for customers to buy, then don’t bother selling them. Don’t bother working in the garden center either if you can’t take care of the plants. Also, the cashier named Iris wouldn’t honor the price for the miracle gro soil and even asked me to walk over there to take a picture to prove I wasn’t lying. If you expect me to do the work, at least give me a discount, ok?
Good
I Like home depot. It's a nice store. u can find what u want with decent prices and the service is really good 👍
Need more adults running your business. The millenniums are rude and lack customer service skills!!!!
Window AC broke down so I drove here which is not my nearest home Depot. That said it was the only place with an ac within budget. 18 Toshiba 8,000 BTU units in stock but could not be found by employees. Because I used to work at a home Depot once upon a time I could only think that they would have a pallet up on top with overstock or in garden if top shelves are full so I went looking around. Finally found it on a top shelf mixed with another type of AC. I informed employee that I found now we just need the sort of cherry picker equipment to get it down. Unfortunately the employee could not find someone certified to get the product down and the store was pretty much closing for the day. As I looked for another place that they might have had them stocked in a more convenient place I had other employees ask me if I needed help one on a reach forklift and the other being his guide. I explained the issue but i couldn't understand if they could or could not help me. I stated all I needed was a pallet down to get the product I needed so that I can be on my way. I was asked for SKU just like the first 2 employees and was told something about " it not having a home location" while I had already explained where the product was at. That's where my true frustration was at. How is it that a customer was able to find the product needed but when asked to be helped, I wasn't helped at all? Now we have to sleep in the heat on a Sunday night when the work week is going to begin. I don't even have the best terminology to use to express how foolishly the task I had asked for could not be completed. Guaranteed would have taken no more than 10 minutes. What is the world coming to when a person maps out the equation for you but the other person doesn't seem interested in helping you solve the equation. It's insane that customers are willing to work better than employees to get what they need and still pay full price for the product. At that point we should get a discount for doing what the employees should be doing. The time I spent explaining what I needed to be done when I was approached to be helped I should have just got the forklift myself bring said pallet down, take product off, put said pallet back up, pay, and sleep comfortably in a cool room to be ready for the work week. Here I am writing a negative review that didn't need to happen. Even though I feel this review isn't going to do anything I hope that one day something is established where people are held accountable for their actions. I cannot express how easy I made their task by being able to show and explain what you can do to help me since I was asked anyway if I could be helped. Never seen someone fail successfully this much. Had I known this would have been the outcome I would have saved my time and fuel to spend my hard earned money somewhere else where just maybe they would care a bit more for their customers. I do not dislike the home Depot but that feeling was there strongly today.
Stock in disarray. Employees standing around talking to each other. Bathroom locked. This store is horrible. I have been coming here 29 years and I know bad when I see it. 4/29/24. If you value your time don’t go here. If you have a list of 5 common repair and maintenance items you will probably find a bare shelf for 1 or 2. Which means you need to go elsewhere anyway.
Big selection
Huge shop related to preparing for new house
First off I went to customer service after finding NO ONE IN THE STORE. I asked her where to find a certain part and where would I find spray starch. She didn’t know what that was, but she did show me supplies starting with softener for washing machines. She directed me to the right aisle, but the wrong location. Finally, an associate walked down my aisle and said she would call for someone. She exclaimed she had no idea about this aisle. OK. That person did not show up. So I began digging around and the part I needed had an empty box.
I went to a guy at self check out (are they ever NOT on their phones) and he said he could not leave his area, so I went back to customer service, (who gave me the wrong location) the first time and asked if they could make a second call for assistance. As always, I tried to tell the associate who came how much they are appreciated and I am sorry they have to work practically alone in the huge store. Since customer service said there were 28 in stock, he got up on a ladder to search and, as usual, there were none to be found. He said I could find one on Lemmon Avenue. Alright, let me drive 30 minutes in rush hour traffic to get what I need. I come to this store because it is near my house. He was really a nice guy, they do hire pleasant people. I would say on every given shift this place is understaffed by 15-20 people. To top it all off I went to check out and there was a puddle of water by the check out. I told the young man working that area that it was a tripping hazard. I took pictures, but why? When he told me good night I mentioned he needed to put his phone down and offer safety and service. Where is management? Who trains them?
Loews, here I come. At least there you don’t have to wait for someone to open the bathroom for you.
Just left this store. My boyfriend needed a second opinion on a screw as he needed to buy a new one for his couch. He asked one of the associates and he was very rude. He told him the aisle to find the screws (as if we weren’t just over there) then said he would call someone to help. No one ever came to help. The associates are in the store just relaxing as if they’re not there to do a job. I tried to find a complaint hotline because the customer service was horrible.
It's the best place for tools and building materials.
The first time I go this fantastic Home Depot, because it was close to another place I visited, I had an issue with my microwave; this fabulous lady welcomed me with a nice and kind try to help fix my problem. She could guide me in the right direction; these days, it is rare to find someone nice like that who treats all people equally and helps them with kindness.
Thank you for everything, Ms. Manju. You are an excellent example for employees working at Home Depot.
Serjio and Jack in the wood department were awesome! The checkout team was great, too. This is my top Home Depot store yet
Load/unload done MOSTLY by customer, cashier don't know that 1 tile has barcode on side and requires us to buy whole box 🤣, mashine for cutting blinds is DOWN last 6 months probably because nobody knows how to cut blinds, kitchen cabinets design people are 🤣joke and all together be ready for surprise.
Muy buenos materiales y herramientas
Asked for assistance in locating an item. First, they told me exactly where to find it, and then insisted on escorting me to that location.
They treat their customers like criminals here. The last two times I've been in this store, almost everything I needed was locked up. I had to sit and wait on an employee to show up to unlock the cage. The employees don't care how long you wait, they don't get in a hurry. Further, these were large items--they were not something people could sneak out in their pocket or coat. So there was no good reason for them to be locked up. The last time I visited this store, I needed to use the restroom, and even those were locked up! There were quite a few people standing there who really need to go, just waiting on some person who couldn't care less to show up and unlock the door. That is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS Home Depot. You should be ashamed of yourself. I guess it's part of some effort to prevent theft. If that's the case, add security and crack down on the actual criminals rather than treat ALL of your customers as criminals. I'm never going back to that store and will use your competitor in the area. And if you start doing this in all stores, you will never see my money again.
Always go here. Lots of stuff is choose from
Great store! Found everything I needed!
We rented a Penske truck and had a good experience.
Expansive store! Lots to choose from. Possibly too much! Got a bit overwhelmed when I first walked in. Rented a Penske truck from them recently. Rental was so so.
Excelente lugar encuentras todo en herramientas, materiales y más
as usual, but the quality of staff has dropped significantly over the years. You hardly find anybody that has a clue about anything diy. I can google myself, so that’s not such a great help…
**Update** All did get fixed, just took about ~4 months to get it all right.
I have a door project that was sorta done but I can’t even get anyone to call me back to see if it’s going to be completed or not. Also, the storm door that was installed a couple of months ago is still not quite right. Sad. Just going to do a chargeback? Maybe that will get someone’s attention? The manager on duty was no real help but he got thrown into a situation that he had no prior knowledge about.
I live here I feel like... it staff can be taught bettter
Living in a world of so much negativity, I’m so so Blessed to have met both Lettakaye and Drake today. If I can be honest, I was a little nervous to ask for help finding some pet turf because people act so bothered when you ask for help at their job 🤦🏾♀️Both Lattakeye and Drake went out of their way to help me out and worked as a team to get me exactly what I needed. I didn’t have the best day at work, but these 2 really made my day. I’ve always had a good experience at this location but today was different. They were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I’m grateful for all
Of the workers but these 2 really made my day so much better. Continue to be the amazing 2 that you are!! I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this location and theses 2 people!!!! They definitely know
What they’re doing!!!!
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ÀNYTHING FROM HOME DEPOT! WENT ON FRIDAY TO PURCHASE NEW WASHER AND DRYER UPON DELIVERY TODAY THEY COULD NOT INSTALL BECAUSE THEY FORGOT THE STACKING KIT!!! YOU GUYS ARE THE WORSE!
Pam from plumbing was great!! I am working on replacing my bathroom flooring & toilet and Pam was amazing in helping me all the parts I needed to complete my project. She even walked me to the items & showed me how it worked!! I'm usually a Lowes guy, but thanks to Pam I will br back to Home Depot.
Paradise tools
I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying to shop at Home Depot and this locations Manager Jonathan, only to be met with disappointment and frustration. Despite their posted closing time, the staff decided to close up shop a few minutes early, leaving me and several other customers stranded outside, bewildered and agitated.
This blatant disregard for their advertised hours is inexcusable. If Home Depot cannot adhere to their own schedule, how can customers trust them for any other aspect of their business? Closing early not only inconveniences customers but also reflects a lack of professionalism and customer service.
I understand that employees have their own commitments and responsibilities, but that should not be at the expense of customers who rely on the store's stated operating hours. If Home Depot cannot manage its closing times efficiently, they should consider revising their hours to accurately reflect when they are truly available to serve customers.
This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I am now questioning whether I can rely on Home Depot for my future home improvement needs. It's disappointing to see a company fail to meet such a basic expectation, and I hope they take steps to address this issue promptly.
Came to the store late at night as emergency as we were hanging my new t.v. into my living room wall, and we didn't have the right screws for it. The store was clean and organized. Plenty of parking and staff was super nice. Got what we need it and was easy to find as well.
I like it better than Lowe's for wood.
Great selection
Helpful staff
Love this place!
Unbeatable prices and high quantity products.
Like any home Depot for some reason it never takes just 1 trip.. but clean store.
I find all
Employees more focused on discussing what’s for dinner than assisting customers.
Anytime I have a home project or I need of some nice plants I go to Home Depot. They always have everything I need and great service on top of that. It’s always an enjoyable experience at the Home Depot
If their were a chance to give a negative star I would
A cashier named Kerron gave the worst customer service ever
She was rude and did not want to assist me
I had to ask another representative who was very kind and did a wonderful job
The worst home depot i ever come cross, my hand get dirty from the dust all over the shelfs and went to wash my hand and find out they locked the restroom door!!???
