The Home Depot in Dallas

Generally, our go to location because of proximity. Store is clean, items are easy to find and staff is helpful when needed. Recently visited for landscaping items and at the check out, the associate, Bory, was not helpful. We had to pull all of the heavy stuff out of the cart because he didn’t want to go to the cart to scan the items. When it came to insert my credit card, he gave me the total and indicated it was ready. After a few attempts, I told him the machine was not working. He proceeded to scream and berate us for pulling our credit card out of the machine - when in fact, he had not totaled the transaction. Once he did so, the credit card machine worked. No apology, no thank you - just outright rude. I was shocked to be yelled at by an associate in that manner.

Recently rented a carpet cleaner from the tool rental department at this Home Depot store, and the experience was fantastic! The equipment was in pristine condition, and Bryan from the rental department provided top-notch customer service. He went above and beyond to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable using the machine. We need more people like him—great experience overall!

In the past year I've been working on my projects via countless trips to HD, the singular standout was Curtis. He was in the drywall section at the White Rock location. Patient, funny and never made me feel like he was not there to help me achieve the best possible project. I truly hope whomever this gentleman's manager is takes notice because he's one in a million!

Rented a sewer machine got it back to my house used it was a self feed which I liked but this store only uses one head after it now unclogging the main sewer line I pulled the line back out and noticed the head had feel off!!! Took it back and they said they would not credit me the time I had left or give me a refund also that I was lucky that didn’t charge me for the head which they installed. I will never give them another dime of my money!

Home Depot HATES people with disabilities. They don't want our patronage or money. I have come to this particular store on multiple occasions and only once has the scooter been available/operational. This has become a real problem in the Garland/DFW metro area. A little more documentation and it's litigation time.

It's okay but lots of ayle blocked and can't get item I look for nobody ask me if I need help so I find everything by myself and use self checkout.

Home depot's always been a good place to go. Sometimes it is hard to find prices. Thank God for the app.

Between this and the other home improvement stores nearby, by far takes the crown on best prices and friendliest faces!

The tool rental department, had a young kid this weekend very rude. Didn't wanted to do his work. I'm very disappointed at homedepot, having unprofessional staff working for them. Definitely not going back to that location

Employees are friendly when you can find them, but this store rarely restocks products and parts are often missing from open boxes. Would strongly recommend finding yourself another nearby Home Depot for your local home improvement needs.

I wanted to order a front door but you can't find anyone that is willing to help. The area were the windows and doors are has no associate. All the older associates have been replaced with 20 year old that you can see gathering and laughing in groups and have no interest or the knowledge to be helpful! It's ridiculous!

I love this store but.... Don't 'you' just hate it when you're profiled just by the way I look and dress! I mean I can't walk in and grab what I need without 'ROBERTO' questioning how much are my item in my hand, cause he wants to know if I'm buying or shop lifting. And his 4 eye friend 'loss prevention' standing there trying to act all hard with me for what reason idk,! But all I have to say, is Roberto works for loss prevention like a girl, doesn't help! They just cause problems

I can't go to home Depot very much because the staff is always perfectly helpful and they've got everything I need to fix my house up, to make it beautiful. I always end up spending a little too much money. But it's okay. My house looks a lot better because of home Depot.

I wandered into the electrical aisle not knowing where to look or what I’d find, on a quest for a combination AFCI/GFCI circuit breaker.A very helpful person stocking that aisle had me out of there with the right item in just a minute or two.

Hate self checkout machines

For the first time in 18 years of coming to this HomeDepot (location) I have never felt so satisfied with the customer service! Amazing customer service from the Paint crew. Irving was amazing! Made my process so easy! 1 2 3 there it was! And finally, check out with Margaret! I had the whole family and she took the initiative and checked me out by scanning all my merchandise! Thank you!!

Get a pos system with tag/GPay/Apple pay. It's the 2020's.

Garden/Nursery Area - They have the plants organized by how much sun each type of plant needs - love this! I needed some full sun plants for my patio and found them easily. They also had large bags of planter soil for under $10. The plant selection here may not be as extensive as other nurseries, but I can get what I need and everything is easy to find. Gave this location five stars as their customer service is good. Their employees are friendly.

Great store, been coming here awhile for garden supplies. Rented a tree trim power tool though and the metal gasket broke on the head after 30 minutes use.

The gave me another rental tool but while it cranked up in the store, out in the field it would NOT crank. Brought it back, they couldn't get it to start.

It seems tool maintenance isn't great here. They refunded my $50 so that's nice but.... I spent 2 hours driving there and back. And didn't get my tree work done!

Amazing, friendly service. The only thing to improve is if they could be more diligent to pick up litter in front of the store.

Check out was easy. My only issue on my first trip was finding staff to help. My second trip the same day the staff was readily available and led me to what I needed.

I just want to thank Pam and the rest of the staff who doubted her. Thank you for allowing me to come back and retrieve the storage items, that I so desperately needed. They could have shut the doors and told me to come back tomorrow, but they didn't. They understood my predicament and waited for me to get the rest of my things that I purchased in my two seater car. They respected my purchases and my vehicle without complaint. I highly recommend this particular Home Depot off of Garland Road, Dallas, TX. Landmark quality! 👍👍

Very big and organize, employees are nice lot's of everything here for any season any occasion or improved your home,, if it's not here you can always go online and order from there. My husband bought these sun block blinds, it's like having sun block shades and they are very easy to clean.

Recently started locking everything up. No method to call staff, so you spend time chasing staff around the store to open cages. Very close to me, but guess I'm going to start getting things deliverered so I don't have to deal with finding employees.

As usual it's hard to find any help when you need it, but there's plenty of employees wandering around

A trolley of damaged sheetrock pieces had been sitting in the sheetrock aisle for a few days when I was deciding to purchase it, even though I was not going to use it at the time.
It was a Sunday late afternoon and I asked the supervisor at that department whether I could purchase it but have my workers pick it up tomorrow;
She agreed.
When to customer service whereupon the cashier rang everything up and because she needed an override rang an AGM on duty
The AGM came 15 minutes later and said that I could not pick it up the following morning as it was on clearance and it was first come first served.
I explained that it was going to be picked up the next day because 1. I was retired and could not lift the sheetrock either to load it or unload it
2. It was going to picked up the following morning by my workers
Her name was Liliana and she adamantly refused
I asked to speak to a Manager she said there was none on duty and she was the manager
Finally after 1 hour I was able to get the supervisor at the sheetrock section give permission to the cashier when the AGM had left the customer service section.
The AGM needs to look at the definition of customer service in these difficult times.....
