Good Home Depot. Good selection of items. Occasionally difficult to find a worker to help you. Gardening center is has a good selection of plants and items to help your garden grow. Home improvement section has always has what I am looking for.

Update 6/3/25
Rented a gas powerwasher, the worker did not check the gas so it died within 5 mins of me arriving home so I had to go out and purchase a gas canister and gas to run it. When I informed the worker this on return they said that the last worker should have checked it but did not seem to care. I spoke to customer service about this and they did not care I was inconvenienced by their lack of attention to detail as well.

Never again will I ever want to shop here. Went to go buy a used auger they had for sale that I saw in the home depot ap. Went to tool rental and the manager there. Who's name is Daniel. Worst customer service. The guy was rude and a liar. Found the auger tried to turn it on. Didn't turn on. So he said he will tell his technician to look at the next day and that he would give me a call. Been like 2 or 3 weeks. I totally forget about it by now. But just saw a notification from Google how was my experience at this home depot. And then I remembered that this place blows big ones. All day eryday. So if your into getting terrible customer service. Then by all means go to this home depot at the tool rental side and ask for Daniel.

I came in late in the evening to make a last minute purchase for a quick home repair. I was told by I would assume the manager Veronica that the store was now closed however the time was only 9:45PM. It’s extremely frustrating that store hours posted are not followed. Terrible customer service.

I have never written a review before, but what happened at the Home Depot on Skillman truly left me shaken. I had a very difficult and upsetting experience with the staff at checkout especially those in leadership or supervisory positions near the cashiers.

I was struggling with my payment, and instead of offering help or understanding, I was met with rudeness, impatience, and what felt like outright hostility. Some of the things said were so hurtful and unprofessional, it made me feel completely disrespected.

As a Muslim customer, I couldn’t help but feel that I was being judged and mistreated for who I am. The experience made me feel incredibly pressured, embarrassed, and close to tears. I never thought a simple shopping trip could leave me feeling so humiliated.

What made it worse was hearing them talk negatively about me to coworkers while I was standing right there. No one came over to help, no one showed any empathy just judgment and coldness.

I spent a significant amount of money, and my payment took a few extra minutes to go through. Instead of understanding, I felt like I was being treated like a problem.

I will never return to this location. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, regardless of who they are or how long it takes to process a payment. I sincerely hope the store reviews their customer service policies and trains their team on respect and professionalism.

No one should leave a store feeling this way. I deserve better. We all do.

You know, I've always had really positive experiences at this Home Depot. The staff are consistently helpful and genuinely seem to care about assisting customers. While I understand that not every associate is a master of every trade, they always make a real effort, and their friendliness is a big plus.
Another fantastic thing about this location is their monthly kids' workshop. On the first Saturday of each month, they host a free event where children can build little projects – we've made piggy banks and snow globes, among other things. My kids look forward to it every month, and it's become a really fun activity for us to do together. And when they say it's free, they truly mean it! They provide the snacks, the drinks, and all the materials for the project. It's just a wonderful way to spend quality time with my kids.

I live fairly close to this Home Depot and refuse to go back. I’ve been here many times before and time and time again my interactions with employees has been extremely frustrating. Home Depot used to be known for knowledgeable and helpful staff and most every employee I’ve interacted with at this location is completely clueless. Absolutely Do NOT buy sliding glass doors from here. When you are promised an 8 week project and we're going on 7 months. Customer service is horrible. Milay. She is horrendous at getting back with you. They did not measure right and instead of the custom door being placed, they installed a standard door. The sliding door that is installed has air blowing through the seal. Still waiting on the second glass sliding door to be installed. Who knows what issues that will bring?

I recently had an online purchase where only a portion of my order was delivered, which was frustrating. I had to reach out to customer service twice before getting things resolved. However, once I was able to connect with the store, they went above and beyond to make things right.

They made multiple attempts to contact me this morning to ensure I was home for the delivery. When they finally got through, they sent Zack, who not only delivered the missing items but also included a little extra as an apology for the inconvenience.

Even though the missing item was only valued at $4, the level of service I received was exceptional. Instead of just leaving the bags of mulch at my door, they took the time to stack them neatly in my garage, knowing how big and heavy they were. Their thoughtfulness and extra effort were far beyond what I expected. Excellent customer service!

I am having MAJOR issues with my home depot order and finding someone in customer service to help. My blinds were installed in May, two slider blinds couldn't be installed because parts were missing. I've spoken to over 7 different representatives in customer service. It is now November; that's 7 months I've been actively calling for someone at Home Depot to help me. Every time I go, they have more and more items locked up. I needed two things, both were just $10 each and both were locked up. Each time I had to go find an employee, who then had to go find someone with a key. That is not acceptable. Rather than treating all of your customers as criminals and making it so difficult to buy something, maybe you should hire security to stop the actual criminals. If you could give this star less than one star, I would. I was looking for a specific Ryobi string trimmer to replace one that had "died." I was in the aisle where power gardening equipment was displayed for a long time and no one showed up to help. I finally went out into the main aisle and found two young associates and interrupted their giggle fest to ask them to locate someone to help me. I went back to the gardening equipment aisle, waiting for help. (by the way...all of the equipment is now locked up, so it is impossible to shop the various models on your own). After waiting for another 10+ minutes, I made my way to the customer service desk and asked the person there to get someone to help me. About 5 minutes later someone did show up. This person exhibited no product knowledge and even less interest in helping me. I finally made my way to the automatic check out to scan my purchase...the scanner was broken. The person watching the area came over with a nasty attitude to assess the problem. I finally left with my Ryobi string trimmer.

Online orders suck here, make you wait 10 plus days and no notification when orders arrives for pick you have to constantly check for any updates, then you get here and your order is not even here. I went to rent a torque wrench, and the tool rental counter really only had larger tools to rent. That being said, Colby really went above and beyond to inform me that my sheered bolt would equally be taken care of with a drill. After I rented the drill, he went out into the parking lot and just took care of the bolt in my skid plate that I needed help with. Then told me what I needed to buy and drilled them back into the plate to finish the job. Wow. Could not have done this on my own.

I have had a moving van reserved for weeks, and was supposed to pick it up tomorrow morning at 6am. I got notified at 6pm tonight that the van is no longer available. 952 p.m. and the doors are locked when their posted hours online are till 10:00 p.m..
14 minute drive here and 14 minutes back home,that means
I wasted a little over 30 minutes of my life to come up here and buy one item which they have on the shelf here, a flea trap. and now I'm leaving without the one item.

I frankly think that would be better for the world and for society. I would like it better myself the way it was during COVID times actually, businesses closing at 6:00 -everybody getting to spend more time at home and in their neighborhoods.
But when these businesses make a point of keeping late hours and they advertise these hours, then there's absolutely no excuse for not honoring them.
When I was a teenager working service retail you can believe me that I wanted out of there 8 minutes early so badly it hurt.
But of course I was a silly 15-year-old, and as an adult I of course came to realize that if you're going to be there at 9:52 why not be there at 10:06 if you need be and just make the whole situation a lot more pleasant by chilling out.
Nobody in their right mind would try to argue that you're any better off with another 14 minutes to yourself especially if you're an hourly employee.
Once again I was a typical 15-year-old in the '80s and so needless to say I was not in my right mind...
not blaming the clerks I'm not blaming anyone specific I'm just ranting about the state of society I suppose.
If I had to guess , the problem is likely that people are not paid a respectable and respectful wage so that the corporations can scrape up an extra helping of the wealth generated here for their ownerership.
If any of you clerks, young or old, are reading this then take my word and make yourself a happier person and do your best to finish out your shifts honorably- making your business look exceptional, and giving your customers a situation that unfortunately would be a lone standout in today's world.
I would do this whether or not they're paying you respectfully, because firstly it's the fastest way to get out of there.
You will thank yourself for that attitude.
Believe me it's how you get places in the world, and even if it wasn't, it's how you sleep soundly.
Doors tend to open for people like that.

Just had the most amazing experience in the garden department with Gerald and I believe the manager of that department. Dealing with an apartment complex unwilling to cut grass that is up to my chest. The animals are forced to walk on hot pavement to find a field half a mile away to go potty. Nothing is being done so while code compliance takes their time I needed to remedy the situation and got the help I needed by these 2 gentlemen . Colby In the rental section was awesome.
He showed me both of the home Carpet cleaners.
It was a really stubborn stain so I went with the one that he first suggested. He rinsed out the dirty water part because there was alittle residue from previous user.
He was not pushy and was knowledgeable.
He took the time to give me a quick run down of the instructions even though the instructions were right there on the machine.

I did exactly what he said.It saved me time and money and in an hour I was back with the stain 98% gone!!!

On behalf of all contracting company reps and contractors themselves. Please go to another Home Depot. There are good employees here however there are simply more bad than good. Working across the entire country I’ve never run into a situation where there was a forklift driver onsite and refused to help lift sheet rock because it wasn’t a “lucrative amount”. Also, we were advised by an older woman that they would not be opening the door anymore for myself or my associates and it would be the last time they open it for us.

Multiple times that very week we were refused access to the contractor door after I had myself loaded my own sheet rock onto a flat cart. Obviously the sheet rock is too wide to go through the regular check out lanes. Again, not everybody here is unhelpful There would be 1 out of 6 employees helping and doing they’re job while the rest were gathered around talking.

If the owner and manager sees this please make your establishment better. We’ve spent perhaps over 6k at your location in the past week alone. If you’d like to keep getting business I suggests you cut the weeds.

Made a rental truck reservation, was charged the $150 hold on my card only for them to cancel my reservation the day of pick up. Upon calling (and waiting an hour on the phone to speak to someone) I was told the truck rentals are first come.
Was left without the rental I needed and now having to wait 3 business days to get my money refunded.
