They arrived on time as scheduled and throughly explained the inspection details before beginning. Calvin was absolutely phenomenal! His attention to detail, careful consideration of my concerns, work ethic, and technical knowledge are exactly what I was looking for in a home inspector. I cannot recommend GreenWorks enough! I will certainly be asking for Calvin for all my future home inspection needs!

This review is not entirely directed at Greenworks, but also at the entire Mold Remediation and Mold Inspection Industry and I hope serves as a warning to anyone who finds themself in a similar predicament. A plumber found mold in our laundry room so I paid over $1,200 Greenworks to come pre-test, write a mold protocol and then post-test. I then paid a [reputable] mold remediation company to come remove mold and clean the area... Greenworks then comes out to perform the clearance test and it fails(Unfortunately I have no way of checking them). I have mold remediation company come back out to "re-clean". Greenworks charges $530 to do a 2nd clearance test and that fails (again, how do I know their test is accurate?!). Mold remediation company comes out to clean a 3rd time. Greenworks charges another $530 to do a 3rd clearance test and that fails (at my wits end here). Mold remediation company comes out a 4th time. Greenworks charges another $530 to do a 4th clearance test. Finally passes(hallelujah!). My warning to anyone who finds mold is to get up front in writing from your remediation company that they will cover the costs for failed clearance tests. Unfortunately, we consumers are at the mercy of these companies to test and remediate and there's not much we can do. In my opinion, Greenworks continuing to charge $530 for each additional clearance test is ridiculous as I really have no way to check them that their testing is accurate.

Great service

Update: the home inspector was not great, we paid for him to check our plumbing as well, with their premium package or whatever it was. He found a belly in the plumbing, so we hired a plumber to give us an estimate. He found out that there was significant issues with the plumbing that GreenWorks didn’t catch. The pipes were not connected under the house so there was dirt inside the pipes and water was leaking whenever you flushed. How was that missed? It was going to cost us 40k in order to fix the repairs underneath the house and an additional 10k to fix the belly issue.

They called me back to see what they could do for me to change my rating here. The lady offered me a 10% discount, which was the same discount they offered when I set up the initial inspection. When I called her out on it she said she could offer another 20$ or something off. So it went from 760 to like 700. Why even bother calling me when you’re offering $20 off right after you almost caused me $40k worth of damages?

There was an issue with the website so only 1 of 3 reports were showing. The other reports were promptly emailed to me by Arjen. I have yet to receive the CLUE report after calling them 4-6 times asking for it. Every time I call they reach out and say he’s not responding to pings and he’ll call me back. It’s Sunday and the inspection was done on Tuesday.

This is our second experience with Greenworks and it remains top notched, highly highly recommend. Special shoutout to Matthew Markham who went above and beyond in his detail and his explanation and his patience with our questions. Great all-around experience and will continue to use them!

I’m glad I went with his recommendation to check the sewage pipe in the front because turns out it had roots and we wouldn’t have found that. Took pictures of that and the roof, found all issues even small ones, and all around a great inspection our realtor found.
Also was very respectful of home and new carpets even though it was a hassle going in and out and putting coverings on his boots every time. If you’re looking for someone you can trust, and gets the job done, Marco Gonzales is the one.

I am disappointed about this inspection on my daughter's brand new house. A year later, we found the solar panels on the roof are fake. No electric connections at all. If we remove them, we have to spend $10,000!

BEWARE!! They make you sign a contract before they come out and it states that they will give your information to third party affiliates for telemarketing!

The service was "okay". The inspectors that came seemed young and green...which isn't my experience with inspection companies. Usually I like someone with more expeience. Also missed a couple of items I knew about. Also, there was a ton of cross-sell up-sell type stuff that annoys me...so much so it was hard to keep up with what was what.

These guys got paid and completely left our company without support after the inspection.

Beware using these guys. We had to start over with another engineering firm. We escalated all the way to a VP and no response.

I had a mold inspection done. Paul Laman was friendly, very knowledgeable and thorough during the inspection. He did an amazing job!

Beware of this inspection company!

I had a very disappointing and costly experience with this company. I paid $1,500 for a home inspection, during which they spent hours pointing out numerous issues — many of which turned out to be minor or completely inaccurate. They failed to provide any real perspective, leaving me overwhelmed and misinformed. They also promised to arrange a structural engineer, charged me for it, but never delivered. I ultimately terminated the contract at that time due to their alarming report.

However, I went back under contract a month later and have now lived in the home for two years. Most of the so-called major problems they identified turned out to be either nonexistent or insignificant. They also failed to complete the pool inspection, which was part of what I paid for.

For $1,500, I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I would give them zero stars if I could. Proceed with extreme caution!

I did not like the service. While I was setting up an appointment online, they called me before I even submitted the form—it felt like spam. The lady who called was kind, but the early call was off-putting.

The next day, they sent an inspector. I chose the "greener" plan expecting a good inspection. However, the inspector missed many issues that I later discovered after moving in, and the inspection did not cover everything promised in the "greener" plan.

It also seemed like they sent someone else instead of their own inspector. When I asked questions about the inspection, they just blamed each other and showed no coordination.

If you still choose this company, I recommend picking the basic "green" plan instead of the "greener" plan.

Can’t go wrong with Matthew Markham! He was very professional and knowledgeable about what builders should be installing within the area. He knows his stuff. When it came to the inspection report he went above and beyond. He made sure to send it right away because he knew the walk-in in was next. His inspection was very detailed and answered any question I had. When I didn’t understand something he took me right to the issue so I could see it for myself. He made this process a breeze.

Chad was awesome and super friendly. Gave us a lot of information and showed us plenty of things that helped us with our initial inspection. When our 11 month inspection comes around we will definitely be using him again. Thanks again Chad!

10 days after my inspection and still havent gotten my mold report in writing. I just got access to my foundation investigation report and have not gotten the CLUE report showing insurance claims on the property. Definitely felt like I wasted money getting the most expensive package because i received the report for foundation after my negotiation period was over and still havent gotten the other stuff i paid for. Will probably go with someone else next time.
