The company sent me a text that they could come earlier than scheduled which was great. I was texted who along with a picture would be working on my unit. The young men were courteous, professional and efficient. They explained the issue and what they did to repair it. The repair cost was very reasonable. Having been without A/C since 6-5 and being given differing trouble issues and far out repair times, I was referred to Cozy-D by my daughter who is a satisfied customer. I was most appreciative of the quick diagnostic appointment time. When Andrew and Monty arrived within the arranged time frame. Both men were courteous, professional, thorough, polite and empathetic. As they assessed the issues with the thermostat and outside unit, they explained in less technical terms what was happening and not happening with the A/C. Since it was a problem solving scenario, they covered what systems and parts may be needed to get the A/C working. They did a more thorough diagnosis that the 2 other repair companies that had been out. My husband and myself that they were honest with their assessment of what was really needed and not overcharging us. I was also promptly sent estimates of the various options to fix the A/C. Andrew and Monty have come back today to continue the step by step process of repair.
Andrew and Monty changed out the wiring under the house and to the outside unit. They insulated the wiring. They also put in a new circuit board. They explained what they were doing all throughout the house call. They were able to get me some air by bypassing part of the computerized system. Still some work to be done, but they are so focused and determined to find solutions to fixing my A/C. I feel confidant that they will get my A/C working like new.
With all of the issues that have come up that required creating alternatives to get my A/C working, the tech , Andrew, has been very empathetic, cool-headed, mild tempered and mindful of costs. When discussing our issues with the owner about our A/C, both are very knowledgeable and truly work together to provide the best solutions for service. They also thoroughly do research about the system and how it works so that they can
fix it properly. Although more work is to be done, I really feel confidant that my A/C will be working soon.
7-1 As agreed, the 3 techs arrived on-time. They were courteous and friendly as usual. They worked efficiently and were very knowledgeable and determined to get me A/C today.
They were very respectful to us and of our property. Mr. Deason, owner, stayed very involved and that was appreciated .I feel that the charges were reasonable. The office staff also have excellent customer service skills, and most of all, everybody does what they agreed to do. I have air at this time!!!!!!!

Joshua came out today (7-16) to do my annual maintenance on my A/C. He was very pleasant. courteous, respectful, efficient and professional. He explained what he would be doing during his visit. He explained what he had done during his visit. He explained everything in a way that I would understand what was done to the system. He did turn the system on and off as part of the maintenance check. He was kind enough to change the filter that we provided.

Nothing but honest and quality service. Came out to look at my A/C because it was coming on and off. Went outside to check my a/c unit and said there was nothing wrong with the unit. Advised me to get an electrician out because something wasn't connecting with the thermostat like it should. No expensive service fee. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend them.

Andrew again was on Time, which I appreciate. He had do do a lot of work this. Had to blow valves in the attic and my bathroom.

Had a local HVAC company come out and diagnose what was wrong with my air conditioner. They said that the capacitor was only holding a charge of 35 of 50 and needed to be replaced. The said they would email me the costs which they did but told me before leaving it would be $400+ ,at which time I said that was way out of line and was going to call a friend I used during my real estate days.

I called Thomas at Cozy -D Heat and Air and asked him if he could come take a look. I also explained my wife had breathing issues and I need it asap. Adrian came and inspected my unit in the attic and then the outdoor unit, both of these after first checking the thermostat. Adrian said the existing capacitor should have enough charge to start it but it didn’t so he gave it a boost. Got it going but was making awful noise and said a new compressor would be in order.
He only charged me for a trip charge! The other guy charged $99 just to look at it and gave me an uneducated estimate of $560. and if I had let them do the job I would be out $560. Plus whatever a new compressor costs. I will be using Cozy-D for my HVAC work!
