We had a new AC unit placed with one days notice. Chris stayed late at our house and confirmed at 6:00 pm we can have a new AC unit replaced the next morning.
The team was on time, did a great job, the AC unit looks great.
They fixed our “warm room” problem, re routed our thermostat and gave us a new extra return vent.
Price was great, service 10 stars for entire team.

The service team was awesome, very responsive and respectful. They arrived and immediately went to replacing our two (2) water heaters which were upstairs in the attic. Had a clogged AC line that was causing all sorts of issues, but JAMAL came out and handled it like a pro. Not only did he clear the line quickly and efficiently, he did it with a genuine smile and great attitude the whole time. It’s rare to find someone who’s both skilled and pleasant to work with—definitely recommend their services!

Had a stopped up kitchen sink. Tech was able to get it cleared and recommend jetting to system. Having the right equipment makes all the difference. After seeing the camera images we agreed. Waiting for setting up an appointment with that crew.

First plumber and apprentice were knowledgeable and friendly. Second plumber did reroute. He returned a second time to repair cross connection. Now, returning for the third time to run it properly and neatly. It certainly exceeded my expectations, not in a positive manner. All were extremely friendly. It was unfortunate that it took 3 visits to correct slab leak .

The technician today, did fine. But he discovered that my 12k job water heater installation that they did was done wrong from the beginning. I have had multiple service appts because of problems and now I find out it wasn't even set up for the proper fuel type (propane). The components of my system still don't work. I had to have these people repair a wall they sawed clear through and I had to have roofers repair damage they did to my roof, causing multiple leaks and more water damage. Now I find out the tankless heater itself was installed incorrectly. I feel bad for this technician today because he was very nice, but steer clear of this company. I've spent so much money on plumbing with them on this and other jobs and they've botched everything over and over. NOT RECOMMENDED

After very disappointing experiences with other supposedly highly rated service companies, I called Frymire and talked to Shannon who assured me that a Comfort Advisor would be out to see me between 10am and noon! At 10:10, Geovani arrived. He was kind, professional, empathetic, and a great listener! He assessed our situation, sat with me to explain the options. Together, we agreed upon the most cost and performance effective system. Geo went over payment options and rebate steps. In about 1.50 hours, we had completed the system selection and financial arrangement that suited our budget. Finally, GREAT no-hassle service with a smile. Geo was my hero! He blessed my day and calmed my dismay around all of the hurdles I had been navigating. Had Frymire come out to unclog an air conditioner runoff drain . Arrived on time, and completed the work professionally. Tough to find a good plumber, but I highly recommend Frymire.

I've use Stritmatter/Frymire in the past for AC maintenance and had a good experience. This weekend I made an appointment for Sunday morning to check our AC bc it wasn't cooling. No one showed up so I made an appointment for later in the day. Never got a confirmation text/call/or email. They finally texted an hour after my initial apptointment time. When they were Stritmatter the communication was great but things have gone downhill.

The company name is now Strittmatter Plumbing, Heating & A/C. I have leased a brand new A/C unit from them a few years ago. Since then, the unit has had a lot of problems with the heat/cooling and not working properly, so I called them every time when something goes wrong, the maintenance is included. When the tech arrived, he said he checked everything nothing was wrong, and he powered on/off the unit and back to normal, obviously the tech didn't fix the problem, and he didn't know what goes wrong. Yesterday, I made a service call again because same problem appears, and I don't want to power on/off the unit, I need them to fix the problem. The customer service (I forgot her name) said they were fully booked, she said she could put me on the weekend, then I was like......then she said a tech can come between 4p and 6p., then time went by the tech no show, at 6:10p I called them again, a girl said she will pass the message to the dispatcher and that's it. As of now, no text, no phone call, no tech shows up. I called them again at about 3p this afternoon, the customer service (Linda) said she called me and left a message yesterday, I asked her which number did you call? She said 1378, I said it was my old number, I told her, every time I make a service call, you can read my new number and my home address in your system, Linda is a big fat liar!!!!!!! Then I hung up! Worse product and worse customer service. So next time when you need any plumbing, heating & A/C service DO NOT call them, PLEASE PLEASE!!

This review is for Mark Hernandez with Frymire. I really want to believe in Frymire as company however this is the 2nd bad experience where not only did I feel like Mark that came out was scattered with his story when telling me about my unit, his pictures he used were not my unit while trying to create a problem to generate a charge. In the end my husband showed frustration and before he left he did something that caused a problem we didn’t have before he came. So tonight we have to use fans thanks to Mark with Frymire. What happened to making a honest living? This should not have happened!

I’m just really frustrated that when I called your company to explain the work I needed to have done (mark-out the water and waste-water lines in my 20ft yard for a tree planting project) the dispatch scheduler had no idea how much a simple and typical project would cost. So because she couldn’t tell me I was going to cancel the request, but to keep me interested in having plumber coming to my house she waved the $89 service-call fee. I now know that “waving” this fee was a tactic to sucker me into either paying $530 for the simple waterline marking project or paying the service-call fee for a 2minute estimate and absolutely zero work/service completed. I understand that not all plumbing work is the same and each project is different, but so is electrical, cement work, and foundation repair but at least they have a square-foot price or project base-price to estimate cost, and they don’t charge you just for showing up! What a scam! At least stop calling it a “service-call” fee, because it’s more like a “quote fee” or “showing up” fee. I will not call or request service from your company again, and you can be sure that my friends and family will not be calling either.

Ethan was great. He spent the time to assess the problem and even though it was not even a problem with the water heater, he spent the time to figure it out for us.

Technician Nick did my AC tune-up, and plumber Dave flushed out my water heaters. Both men provided excellent customer service and were very polite, courteous, & professional. Nick answered all my questions about filters, p trap, etc. Dave gave me advice about tankless water heaters vs. standard water heaters. I highly recommend Nick for your HVAC needs & Dave for your plumbing needs.

Frymire customer for over 18 years. Tech did a great job but office wasn't much help. Was asked to pay $450.00 (parts an labor) for a $42.00 part. I know the company has to make money but that's plain ridiculous. After much discussion, paid $375.00 x 2. What a ripoff!!!!! Won't be using them ever again.

Highly recommend getting regular yearly maintenance on your HVAC and plumbing systems. I booked my annual AC Maintenance so I can make sure I have no problems during summer. I have been doing this for the last 3 years. Technician Francisco Guerrero was prompt, friendly and professional. He did a great job explaining how my system was performing and what the benchmarks meant. I can look forward to a worry free summer.
10-17-24: Time for my annual HVAC Furnace maintenance. Frymire/Strittmatter called and scheduled my appt taking one thing off my to do list. Gilbert Magdaleno arrived on time as promised. He is a new tech to me but reassured me that he had reviewed the prior maintenance reports. After he completed his work, he reviewed the system performance report with me and let me know everything was fine. I really appreciate how knowledgeable the techs are and that he took the time to explain and answer my questions. Gilbert is friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I will definitely request him for my next maintenance service.
3-27-25: Today was my scheduled annual AC Maintenance. I cannot stress enough that thanks to my annual maintenance I do not have issues in the middle of summer when it's blazing hot and with a dead AC unit. Lauren Cox, a new tech to my home, was able to come out earlier. She is amazing, friendly and professional. Answered all my questions and I definitely will add her to my Tech Request list.
As a senior citizen and homeowner, it's refreshing to have a female technician to come out. It's an added peace of mind when you have a stranger come into your home. I love that Frymire sends a picture and bio of the tech coming to your property, so you know you have an authorized tech from the company. But if this makes a difference for you, please request Lauren!
4/2/25: Plumbing Maintenance done! Cody Shelton did a thorough check and it included flushing out the water heater. If you were to have just the water heater flushed out it would cost $120-$180. Having a Maintenance Plan with Frymire-Strittmatter's is worth it.

Our A/C wasn’t cooling and Jacob was able diagnose the issue as a bad capacitor. He was able to replace it. Not to mention, it was pouring outside and he still got the work done in a timely manner.

Rudy did a fabulous job. He is the best tech I have ever had!!! I do not want anyone else in the future but Rudy. So knowledgeable and helpful, plus he is a really nice person.

We had a leak in our bathroom wall plumbing and repair involved removing our vinyl plank flooring strips , jackhammer thru foundation and replacing the piping in wall. Latest maintenance service from Frymire was superb as usual. MARK was professional, but I wouldn't expect anything but excellent service from this company. Again...BEST DECISION I EVER MADE.

Had a stopped up kitchen sink. Tech was able to get it cleared and recommend jetting to system. Having the right equipment makes all the difference. After seeing the camera images we agreed. Waiting for setting up an appointment with that crew.

Great service!!!! 5 stars service. On time and get down to business after showing the pics of plms from AC unit. Plms solved. Everything is up and running smooth less than an hour!!!! Recommend his services to anyone for AC unit issues!

Service was way overpriced. $160 to get them out to “diagnose” the problem with my water heater only to say “it might be the heating element, but you need to call an electrician”. Why should I have to call an electrician for a water heater?? If I was to have a water heater installed would I also need to have an electrician present to hook it up in addition to the service provided to install?? After then having an electrician come out, and him saying for sure that yes the heating element was bad and was causing an overload on the system, I called for another visit to have them replace the heating elements. My water heater has 2 heating elements, and to replace these was quoted at $1100. When I asked why it was so much as the parts were under warranty I was told it was to cover a $350 per hour service fee. I declined this service, and instead opted for buying a $10 socket and 45minutes total of my own time to go pick up the parts and solve the issue on my own.

We felt he was very trustworthy and advised us of the best option for our needs. To have confidence in a person and a company is not a given in this day and age. Service was quick and they did what they quoted. The technician/installer was very curious and professional. The office staff was efficient in keeping me informed about my appointment and when the tech was on his way.

Although Mr. Cooper arrived on time and did a good job in clearing the clog we had in the sink, the charges for this service were ridiculous!! $300 for less than 15 minutes of work is just too much. We will not use Frymire plumbing services again.
