Carlos came by yesterday and did our annual a/c tune-up and did his usual great job. Texas AirZone installed our new system 8 years ago and did a wonderful job. Since then we have them come out twice a year to do check ups at a very reasonable price. I always recommend Texas AirZone to anyone that asks.

Luis has been very patient and helpful! He went over several options with me and explained the cost and equipment. The team Armando, Osvaldo and Francisco who set up my new ac unit was professional and clean. I would highly recommend Texas air zone to family and friends.

There is no one better in HVAC than Texas AirZone and Issac - period!

Beware: $828 to top of refrigerant, it would be "expensive" he said but did not give me a price. My fault for not asking in advance, I guess. Last time they will enter my house. Ever. Upsell experience at the tail end was horrible too. And charging me $360 more for "Star Member" that I did not authorize.

UPDATE: 24 hours later, now my upstairs A/C unit no longer works. What did this technician do to my system? He walks in to my home and 24 hours later I’m out over $1,000 and my A/C doesn’t work anymore.

Luis performed our regular HVAC maintenance and addressed air flow issues. He explained the issue and gave us options. We think this company is more reliable and honest compared with past contractors. We’ve been using Texas Air Zone for about 5 years and are happy with their services. The technicians are knowledgeable and great communicators. The company keeps excellent records of past invoices and recommendations. Since we have two units (zones) for our 1992 two-story house, record-keeping is important.

UPDATE JANUARY 2025: I wanted to add that I recently had an issue with my air handler, and I had excellent service from both Luis and Mario, the technicians sent out to address the problem. They each did their part to resolve the issue while saving me money. Texas AirZone remains the HVAC company that receives my highest recommendations. They are the best!

PREVIOUS REVIEW from 2022:
I can't say enough good things about Texas AirZone, and specifically the technician Isaac, who in 5 minutes discovered another HVAC company misplaced a wire on my capacitor, causing the air handler to not work, and saved me the $4,000+ cost of replacing it, as I was advised to do by two other HVAC companies.

My gut kept telling me the inexperienced technician sent by my usual HVAC company to do my Winter Maintenance Check did something to cause the system to freeze up, since it was working perfectly until a few days after he did that Winter Check. His boss came to check the system after it froze up, said my blower motor wasn't working, there must be a freon leak in the coils, and I needed to replace my 13 year old air handler, that it simply wouldn't work anymore.

I called another HVAC company for a second opinion, and they inspected the system and also said the air handler needed to be replaced. Because neither of those companies could do the job anytime soon and I was without heat when the temperature dropped to the 40s, I called other HVAC companies to see if I could find one to do the job sooner. One of the companies was Texas AirZone, with whom I had to leave a message for someone to call me back to let me know if they carried the brand I was looking for.

After I left that message, the second HVAC company called me and said they would squeeze me in at 10:00 am the next day, which I told Isaac with Texas AirZone, when he returned my call. Even though I told him another company was already booked to do the job, he took the time to ask me what happened to my system that was requiring the air handler to be replaced, and said that based on what I told him, the air handler may not have to be replaced, and he suggested a few questions I should I ask the company who was going to replace it, in order to make sure it really needed replacing.

As Isaac recommended, I called the HVAC company that was going to replace my air handler the next morning, asked the questions Isaac told me to ask, and the head of the HVAC division answered them and still said I needed to replace it. And then a couple hours later--at 6:00 pm!-- they cancelled the job---apparently my questions spooked them, because they just texted me and said "they weren't the right company to work on my HVAC system."

When I received that message, I immediately called Isaac back at Texas AirZone,--after 6:00 pm, and he said he could come in the morning to check my system and take it from there. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, within 5 minutes he saw a wire had been misplaced on the capacitor, moved it to the correct position, and the air handler came back on and has once again worked perfectly. Needless to say, I have recommendedvTexas AirZone to everyone I know, and will continue to do so. They are by far the most competent, honest HVAC company I've encountered in the Dallas area.

Tx AirZone is trust worthy. They are detailed and care about you and your AC/Heating system working properly. They installed 3 new systems in my house and they are working amazingly. They cleaned up and were very conscientious about not tearing up my home. Tx AirZone gave us a really good deal since it is February. I would recommend them highly to anyone!

We called Texas Air Zone because our hvac was blowing cool air with the heat on. Mario quickly discovered that our heat was miswired and fixed it straight away. Sounds simple yet it had been that way from Day 1 and none of the dozen or so prior hvac companies were able to fix it. I'll be calling Texas Air Zone from now on.

The MOST AMAZING AC experience I’ve ever had. Called at 4:55pm, was given an ETA of 7-8pm. Jackie was the most pleasant and helpful voice from the get-go, very compassionate. After dealing with AC issues for two years and spending lots of money with other companies, nobody approached my AC issues from a technical standpoint until I met AirZone. I had a smaller ton unit and not enough return. They recommended going with a bigger unit and adding more return. They also did a very clean and professional job on installing the new unit. My house is getting cold now and I appreciate them alot. Armando Puente was the Install Lead and Carlos Grimaldo was the technician who designed the system. I thank both of them alot.

Based on another vendor's diagnosis, I needed a new unit. I reached out to Texas AirZone. Carlos provided a fair estimate and valuable information that was not relayed to me from other vendors. While looking at the unit, he discovered that the other vendor misdiagnosed the problem. He was able to fix the problem on the spot which saved me a lot of money in the immediate future.

Great customer service on the phone. Tech was on time and very professional. Very nice people to deal with.

Unfortunately the diagnosis was wrong that we paid a service charge of $145 for. Was quoted $2647 for an expansion valve and install. Their tech thought there was a blockage. Part on line is $100. Freon was never added or tried.

Had another company confirm issue and to get 2nd opinion. Unit was low on freon and had a leak in the evap coils. Total cost with new expansion valve, evap coil, install etc..was in the same ballpark as their $2647 quote for just the expansion valve.

Not sure how they come up with the quote given a hundred dollar part. Hate to think what we would have paid to get the correct part installed after they tried just the expansion valve. Do your do diligence and get multiple quotes.

Fantastic job from Isaac! I’m very glad this company was recommended to me. After trying another major company which felt like they were “selling me products” for their commission, I found Texas Airzone. Texas AirZone did a great job for me. Humidity was building in the house due to short cycling. Mario came out and diagnosed the problem quickly. He got me back up and running that afternoon while he ordered and new fan motor. Returned in 3 days at my convenience to install it. I will be calling them back if I have future A/C issues.

We used Abraham with Texas AirZone to trouble shoot some HVAC issues at one of our properties and we can't recommend them enough! Abraham was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and scheduling was a breeze. They were able to come out and fix our problems quickly and efficiently. We will definitely use them again soon.

Highly Recommend!

Texas Air Zone replaced all of the duct work for the two air conditioning units in our house after moving in. This will be a complete a game-changer for the upcoming Texas summer!! Their customer service is wonderful and the technicians always take the time to explain everything they are doing. They even came day-of when we had an unrelated air conditioner issue a few months later. Definitely will be using TAZ for everything air conditioning related going forward. Our house is super cold now thanks to Mario and the duct-work team! 🥶💙

We had worked with Texas Airzone before and this was a disappointment. Technician came in and diagnosed a malfunctioning motor and the only options offered were to replace the motor at $2k+ or replace the whole unit. Got a second opinion from a different company who diagnosed a burnt diode, changed it and got A/C working all with the cost of a service call. We expected much better.

We wanted a quote for an HVAC unit. Brett was a wealth of knowledge! He was personable, honest, and very thorough. We feel well informed to make the right decision. Would highly recommend!!

My wife and I were on a trip this week when my son called and said the new furnace was making noise, a clicking sound. I called Texas Air explained what the furnace was doing. Tech Carlos was dispatched same day and told my son that the furnace flue pipe was expanding and contracting which was normal and no problem was found. This is what I like about Texas Air Zone friendly office staff and knowledgeable technicians.

We love Texas Air Zone. Our new unit was installed in June and works perfectly. Mario is always great when he comes out to check the system and saved me this morning from a Komodo Dragon! 😀 Our 91 year old neighbor had an a/c issue at 7 pm. The house was over 85 degrees. We called and a technician was there with 30 minutes and had him up and running. We are so thankful for this great company and amazing employees that never disappoint!

Texas Arizona was wonderful. I have an autoimmune disease that if I get too hot I can start with a seizure and they realized my issue and came out as quickly as possible the next morning so I wasn't without air conditioning in the middle of July in texas. They did great work it was good for the work they did was the value they were courteous and they called and told me when they were going to be close to my house so that I was waiting for them and they finished on time I highly recommend them.

They are always very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I have recommended them to many of my friends and neighbors.

TX Air Zone responded to a Saturday afternoon call in September when our family room AC stopped working. I had a party planned. The on-call technician arrived within an hour, diagnosed the problem and fixed it Monday morning.

Texas Airzone is local, always personable and they do a great job!! Been using them for over 20
Years and no complaints!

Greg with TX Air Zone is easy to work with and highly knowledgeable regarding central AC units (proper sizing of unit & ducts, as well as diagnostics).

Back in their office, Chris followed up next day with written proposals with several replacement options. The were easy to understand & very comprehensive.

I can not comment on prices or competitiveness of the proposals, as I am waiting on quotes from two other HVAC Co.

I hope they will work with me on price as I believe TX Air Zone will do great work.
