Short and sweet: Evergreen Sustainable Landscaping is an excellent company. They create beautiful landscapes that will last through Texas weather. We highly recommend them.

Long version: We built our home almost 30 years ago and this was the third time to get it landscaped. With the freezing weather and extreme heat in Texas, we wanted a sustainable landscape.

We did a lot of research and interviewed many companies before choosing “Evergreen Sustainable Landscaping.” Ismael Ruelas was the landscape designer. We found him to be an excellent listener. He was able to update our existing gardens, while adding thoughtful and sustainable new landscaping. His designs added an uncluttered elegance to our outdoor areas.

They completely redid our irrigation, added new sod and plants, also fixing the many issues that existed for us. We were even given the option to go with less mature plants to help stay within our budget. We felt heard and we are delighted with the end product.

The men that worked to install Ismael’s plan were kind and polite. They executed the gardens perfectly. We even found the sweet woman who answered our calls a delight.

In the Dallas area you have many choices for landscaping, but save yourself the trouble and go with “Evergreen Sustainable Landscaping.”

Our backyard had very poor drainage. Growing grass was next to impossible! There was nothing to enjoy in our backyard. It was ALWAYS WORK!! We are getting close to retirement and wanted to enjoy our backyard...NOT work on it all the time. Also, when our dog, Pearl, would go outside, we could not let her in the house until we washed her paws. We look at these pictures of beautiful backyards and notice artificial lawns. After a few months of digging deeper into the different products on the market and speaking with friends who have artificial lawns, it seemed like a no brainer. We eventually bit the bullet and found Ismael, the owner of Evergreen Sustainable Landscapes. He is brilliant. He saw our backyard and came up with a number of recommendations. Ismael really listened to what we were looking for and did a great job laying it out for us in a power point type presentation. The quality of the work is fantastic. His Artisans worked hard every day. It has been a couple of months since the work has been done. We go out everyday to sit and enjoy our new backyard. Our dog, Pearl, loves her new domain. And we don't have to clean her paws anymore. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Best investment we made in our home. We highly recommend Ismael and his team.

Front: Revamped two beds, patched up dead parts of grass with new sod, fixed irrigation, and trimmed trees for better sunlight.

Back: Revamped five beds, installed new sod, fixed irrigation and installed new drainage in preparation for turf putting area (turf installed separately by Fantastic Turf).

Overall it was a very positive experience and we felt very comfortable throughout the process. He answered all of our questions and concerns and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about all aspects of the design and planting process. We had hardscaping, planting and irrigation work all done by the Evergreen team and are extremely pleased with the turnout. Looking forward to working with them again!

Ishmael and his team did an amazing job putting in the landscaping around our new pool and backyard! His knowledge of the best plants to use was fantastic! They also installed a state of the art irrigation system which I can control easily on my phone. We couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out!!

We have a beautiful landscape now in front, side & backyards with the insight from them on plants that work well in the shade and full sun, we needed a re-do after the freeze. The planting was quick & communication with the manager was easy—we could talk to someone! They just checked with us about winterizing for this storm coming tomorrow & did the work a day earlier than expected! I believe you’ll want to have them out for a plan and ideas, they will do a great job!!

We had our front and back yards landscaped by Evergreen and could not be happier with the work or the quality of service.

Evergreen did a great job designing the landscaping, showing us different options, and working with us to get just the result we were looking for. They were very knowledgable about what plants would grow well in the climate and had a good eye for what would work best aesthetically. They helped a lot with the design, but were also very good at taking our input where we had very specific wants.

Installation of the project was done on time and went smoothly. Customer service was excellent. I would absolutely recommend them for landscaping jobs, large or small.

Evergreen did the landscaping and landscape lighting in my front yard. Prices were reasonable and they did a great job. Ismael made sure everything was done right. He even came back to check up on everything well after the work was done. Definitely recommend them
