Our Sparkman Club Estates neighborhood association in Dallas contracted Complete Landsculpture to renovate our neighborhood pool which included two full sized swimming pools, a kiddy pool, pavers, several new shade structures, and a new fence to separate the pool from the clubhouse. This was a very difficult project since the existing pools were built in the late 1950's and needed to be completely removed and replaced to be brought up to current swimming pool standards. The neighborhood also wanted the renovations completed "NOW". Their work was outstanding. The new pools and paved areas are stunning, and our neighborhood is very happy with their work. Their project manager easily worked with the members of our neighborhood association and coordination went very smoothly. Our family is very happy with their work and would recommend Complete Landsculpture for any similar neighborhood association work. We also think they would be great to hire for home swimming pools and back yard renovations.

One of their drivers nearly hit me on the road while I was at a light to turn. He missed clipping my car by inches so he could force himself into a lane he didn't fit. He then continued to block my view to prevent us from turning. Utter trash and dangerous driving. He then floored it and sped off like he was leaving a crime scene. If this is how they behave in company trucks, imagine what they will do to your lawn, business or home.

Our project manager Nate helped me plan and installed a surprise “Birthday garden” for my wife. It was all done before she got home from work. It was a big hit, she loves it. Thanks Nate.

Been over 1 year now to do a pretty simple pool remodel and add a coupe of gates and a small section of fence to our project. Our project manager left the company and we have been trying to get some warranty issues resolved for over 3 months now and I can’t even get as much as a simple email or phone call from them. I’ll be posting pictures of the before and after from the remodel and I promise it looked 100% better before they did their work. I’ve tried to be patient and I’ve been more than professional
in my approach but evidently they don’t care. I’m hesitant to write a review but when a company doesn’t have the common courtesy to simply email me or make a call I tend to assume they have zero integrity. I was raised in a way that you are only as good as your word. Evidently Complete Landsculpture is totally lacking in that area. If you ever get a quote from them I’d highly recommend you run and not walk away. They are the epitome of over promise and under deliver.

Complete Landsculpture completed work for a home sale for me and I engaged them again to do landscaping on a pool/outdoor space project. Tim, my account manager did a great job explaining the possibilities and steps to achieve our vision. Most importantly he worked well with the other vendors, i.e., pool builder, irrigation, AV. I would certainly use CL again for this type of work.

The landscape crew would sit in truck for hours talking on their phones and did nothing. Then they would drive away after sitting in the truck for 3 to 4 hours. They managed to kill all the grass in the common areas as well as over ten trees died due to not watering our community. I would run from this company. The workers are lazy

I have used CL for over 15 years. When I need landscaping, a new pool deck, a stone fence,
a retaining wall or whatever is required to "finish" my yard I know I can count on them. They just completed a project in my backyard...on time and on budget. Only one problem, the yard now looks nicer than the house. Too bad they don't do home remodeling.

We hired Complete Landsculpture in 2022 to build our pool, spa and outdoor kitchen. We worked with Tim M. as our project manager. Tim was super helpful throughout the design process, and was responsive to my messages and questions from beginning to end. He was accommodating to changes we requested during the process and was very transparent and honest with us, which we greatly appreciated. It can be a long and painful process, but Tim and Complete Landsculpture really made it as smooth as it could possibly be. The finished product is everything we hoped for and is beautiful, including all of the wonderful landscaping around our yard. Several months later, I had an emergency situation with a pipe drainage issue completely unrelated to the pool. I called Tim and he had a team out at my house within a day, and the problem fixed right away. Their customer service is top notch and I highly recommend this company and Tim!

My husband knew about this company and told me provide very good service, but I am very disappointed with their service. First of all, my husband explained what he doesn't want to be on plan and they came back with pretty much everything he told them not to include. Due to this reason, we lost 1 chance of edit for the plan and the company never say a word about it. Afterward, we started 1st phase of project which was transplanting a tree from front flowerbed to the side of the house. In this process, the company was not referencing the plan and planted tree too close to the house and saying the spot I wanted plant has some stump from old tree. Requested pay for the stump grinding so I agreed to pay for it. In this process they broke the pipe and told me it will be fixed. However, I found out after the fact that this was also separate charge. After all work is done, I found out the sprinkler in the zone is not working properly so I call them to check what they did. The company sent the irrigator to fix the problem, but it was also the separate charge without any advance notice. I received additional $1,000 bill after all work was completed so complaint about it, but only thing I hear was they are not responsible for anything it happened. During the argument about the invoice, I found out many new things they never communicate what can happened during the project. At this point of time, I no longer have trust in this company and there is no way I can proceed the remaining project with these people. They will be only nice when there is no problem, which never happens to the existing homes.

Barbara Villarreal responded immediately to my call about a 70 year old Red Oak that had a 22" diameter branch fail (onto our pickup truck) that looked vital - except where it broke off from three stories up.

Having a risk assessment from an ISA certified arborist with risk assessment certification will allow me to not only sleep better at night - but informed a best decision on what to do immediately.

After the February freeze in 2021, we had to replace most of the plants in our yard. We employed Tim McAuliffe with Creative Landsculpture to design this project. He did a fantastic job. Our yard is much improved!
Tim was gracious enough to check on the project frequently and has been a joy to work with.

We used Complete Landsculpture (CL) about 15 years ago to install our flagstone patio and surrounding landscape. Some of our neighbors had used them as well, even recently. So when it came time for a complete backyard overhaul, we called them back.

This recent project was a major remodel from the alley to the back of the house. We had CL install a pool, water features, landscaping, lighting, new driveway, fence, fireplace with TV, outdoor kitchen, and more. So it was a significant undertaking with drawings from their landscape architect, planning meetings, moving the AC and lines....a complete demo and rebuild of the backyard, essentially.

Throughout the experience, CL presented us with lots of options and gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted to do. From the planning phase to completion, they stayed with us through our many vacillations; remaining flexible to our needs and desires. We were provided with a calendar of what was going to happen, when. And you will find this hard to believe, but for a contractor, **THEY ALWAYS SHOWED UP** when they said they would.

Complete Landscupture was sensitive to our budget and stayed within it, letting us know if we were getting too far off track. Easy to do on these things, right?

Alex Dvinanin was our project coordinator. He was with us throughout the whole thing, walking us through each step. Alex served the important role of liaison between the different trade divisions and us. He was never more than an hour away from responding to a call or text, which was so nice! If you want to look into doing a project, we highly recommend you start with Alex!

Of course, CL has the same challenges that all contractors have. You know, stuff happens.
But man were they always on it to address any concerns immediately! Their customer service was impeccable, from the general laborer all the way to the owner, Chris Strempek. All the guys were super polite and accommodating.

At the end of the day, Complete Landsculpture had the expertise, professionalism, and communication to get our project done on time, on budget and with smiles on our faces. I just wish we could post pictures with this review. We've had friends ask if they could just come live in our backyard now!

PS - just a little shout out to our dear friend, Dan Hall and his love of the Texas flag! Dan isn't the blather-on type, but he's one awesome pool master and we really appreciate (and miss seeing) him :)

Did a ~$20k value backyard project to overhaul our backyard to complement the new pool we had. Designer was great, listened and incorporated our vision and desires and brought it to life. Project Manager & Work Crew were professional, quick and didn't leave any mess. The very minor issues were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. Plants are healthy and thriving. Followup has been good and also to our satisfaction. Would recommend without reservation.

We initially had a fair experience with Complete Landsculpture and Jeff was great.
Our project was roughly $30K (small I'm sure). After the winter storm this year, 12 plants did not survive and they refused to replace them. For a company that charges top dollar to not back up their warranty is disappointing and a terrible decision over a $500 value.
Can't recommend that kind of integrity.

It was great working with Tim. Personable and knowleadgable, Tim explained my landscaping choices but without the hard sell. I appreciated that. It was also great working with Adam in tree care--very efficient and effective. Also, all of my watering and sprlinker issues were taken care of. Additionally, working with office personnel was easy.

I can't attest to their work, but a word of warning to all the drivers on the road: if you see their truck move out of the way. They have no regard for safe driving or your safety.

Our Condo HOA had been working with a couple of different company's to update our pool that had nothing done to it in years and there was no landscape at all! After meeting with Jeff Ditta last fall-we knew we had found the right people!! I understand there are egos in this business, but their arrogance is amazing! Their design provided a pool half the requested size and more than $40K over budget. You can find equal quality for less!

We built an outdoor fireplace, patio and covered arbor. The overall outcome we were happy with, but we initially had troubles with the patio color and problems with the texture. We are hoping the stain on the concrete will last is our only concern at this point.

We have chosen to do this process in stages, and they were very willing to work with us to find the best plan that would meet our financial boundaries.

I have worked with Complete Landsculpture for several years. Alex Dvinanin and Jeff Ditta know what it takes to create a beautiful landscape. From start to finish, these two are professional not only to their clients but also to their employees and sub contractors. That goes a long way with me. Open communication throughout a landscape project is key to a successful finish product and both Alex and Jeff do a wonderful job with that. I highly recommend using CLS for landscape installations.

We used Complete Landsculpture as the landscape maintenance contractor for our 138 unit condominium property for about 2 years. At first, their service was fine but soon degenerated into the typical "mow, blow and go" service offered by so many poor suppliers. They ignored 90% of the items in the contract that they had agreed to and refused to provide them as our property's landscaping deteriorated. As far as we could tell, their crews are virtually unmanaged and they perform the same minimum of service at every property despite the unique requirements of each. They are too large, too bureaucratic and unresponsive to problems. DO NOT USE THEM!

I had a major rooftop deck renovation performed by Complete Landsculpture. The project took approximately 5 months, and was overseen by Jeff Ditta. I am extremely happy with the results and recommend Jeff and his team without reservation. The cost was high (approximately $100K), but they took care of everything, from design to build. Jeff understood my vision and created the perfect design that took my wants into account and maximized them for the footprint of the roof. In areas of uncertainty on my part, his input turned out to be right which was valuable. The major reason to use them is that they take the worry out of the process. Jeff almost always returned my calls or answered my texts within the same day, and would promptly address my concerns, no matter how small. Jeff and his team are friendly, respectful, professional, and worth every penny.

Thanks to Gene and his remarkable staff, our backyard went from blah to WOW in 4 weeks. They got our unusual vision of a backyard beach bar and even incorporated a large outdoor tv, 2 fire pits, a 15ft fishing boat and so much more into the design. Overall these people started out great and have ruined a good relationship. I have spent over 30k dollars with them and followup correcting issues has been awful. The original design and install went great but after I paid them they have no interest in correcting problems without me calling multiple times a week.

Worst experience I have had with landscapers. They over promise, over charge, don't follow up, don't correct mistakes, and simply are over hyped for poor, poor service. I've worked with many different contractors in the past before and Complete Landsculpture just knows how to bring it. They were recommended to me by a good friend so I decided to give them a shot. I needed to build a deck and really wanted something nice. They send one of their design/engineers over to give me a detailed line by line estimate on what it would take to build it. I knew in the first 5 minutes that these guys know what they were doing. No shortcuts were taken and their crew was very professional. If you are doing something in your backyard these guys are the ones to call!

Did such a great job transforming our yard in Dallas, we're using them again at our place in Austin. Especially pleased with their full-service pool, hardscape, and landscape installation --- single vendor service eliminated having to manage multiple vendors. If there was a problem, I only had to make one call --- no finger pointing blaming it on the other guy.

These guys lost their best employee, Mike Freeman, who moved to Oklahoma last year. Their quality used to match their high prices. Not anymore. They came out last fall to replace the annual plants. It took 4 trips to get everything right including two trips to repair the landscape lighting. Charged me for 15 hours of tree trimming I didn't authorize let alone get anywhere near 15 hours worth of work. Finally got a supervisor to come visit since sales guy wouldn't return my calls. He promised to remove two trees for free to make it up to us. Guess what? Never heard from him since. I am leaving daily messages on his office and work phones now. Pity when a good company turns to crap.

March 2013 UPDATE: Matter was finally raised to the owner, Gene Freeman, at Complete Landsculputure. He telephoned me personally, apologized profusely and asked what could be done to correct the matter. He arranged for his crew to come remove the trees as previously committed. They showed up on time, cut down the tree and stacked the cut wood in fireplace lengths in our firewood rack. The yard was spotless afterwards and the stump was cut down to 1/4" above the ground! Gene followed up afterwards and assured me they were making improvements in his customer facing team members. You can't ask for more than that.

I chose Complete Landsculpture to landscape a commercial property and install a drainage system. Despite the fact that their bid was higher than the rest, I liked their ideas and hired them. The plants ended up looking nice, but they did not plant quite a bit of what they charged me for. They had to come out a second time to complete the job.
The second part of their contract with us was to install a drainage system. They did a horrible job, as the system failed from day one. After several months of "living with it", I called to complain. They sent a gentleman out 3 days after he promised to be there. He said the failure was our fault because leaves were clogging the drain. I tried to explain that it never worked from the very first rain, but my concerns fell on deaf ears. He cleaned the leaves out and told me that I would most likely have to clean this drain out weekly! I was very dissatisfied with the "its not my problem" attitude I received after paying them a very significant amount of money to have this drain installed. 1 week later, I received an invoice for the cleaning! Less than 5 months after the drain was installed! At my expense, I hired a degreed, licensed engineer come out to our property and explain why the system failed. He explained that the piping and materials used were inadequate, and would never work for that area. Now I have to have the entire system removed and redone at my additional expense. I spoke to Complete's accounting department weeks ago and explained my frustration, and I was told she would look into it and call me back. I have not heard a peep from their office, but I keep getting invoices for the mock cleaning. I would NOT recommend them for any service above planting flowers, as they are not qualified and offer no support.
