Sundrop Gardens Landscaping in Dallas

I engaged Manny and Team from Sundrop Landscaping to help me with my Landscaping Project and help redesign the Landscaping and Landscape Lighting my at my place. From the get-go, they were very responsive, they exactly understood what my requirements were, they went out of their way to even suggest a design on how the end outcome would look. They took care of my water stagnating problem and helped me with a French drain. They suggested the nature and type of the plants that will aesthetically go with the house frontage. They took care of every minute details without we having to discuss about it. They even switched plants that didn’t make it through the scotching heat! They did a remarkable job on Landscape Lighting. Truly professional!!! Every Team Member on the Team was very knowledgeable, gentle, and nice to work with, and with a smile and a never-say-no-attitude, be it Manny, Rene, Martin, everyone were simply amazing! They were so very patient, responsive, caring and went above and beyond to make their customers happy! Thank you, Manny! This has been a dream come true for us. Manny and his team are wonderful! Last spring, I finally had to replace some bushes that never came back from the freeze in 2021, and a required by HOA tree in the front yard that I lost the year before. He replaced those and added some additional things for me and made my yard look beautiful! He even replaced the hydrangea bushes in the fall that didn't make it through our Texas summer.

They also replaced several broken sprinkler heads and when my 20 year old sprinkler control would not work, he got a new one and installed it same day even setting up all my zones for me because I had no clue how to do that. I lost another tree this spring and the crew came and ground the stump down and now have planted a new tree for me, and it looks great! In addition, he never charged more than was quoted and was always very thorough in explaining what he was going to be doing. The service felt very personalized, warm, friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend Sundrop Gardens to anyone for their landscaping needs.

Manny and his crew were amazing! We had an urgent job - the grass was right up to the foundation and the heavy rain caused it to flooded into the house. Manny was referred to us by a water remediation company, because he knows houses and construction, not just landscaping.

Manny got out here, regraded the yard, replaced the French drains, and fixed the whole drainage system before the next storm. The yard looks great and his team was great. Highly, highly recommend!

They were extremely meticulous. Did a great job ensuring the area was done well on cement by adding a little texture and made a little area around it to keep people off wet cement. See before and after pictures

Manny and his team did an amazing job cleaning up our property after we moved in and an awesome job installing French drains along the entire front of the house to fix some major irrigation issues. He and his team were super professional, quick to respond, and did awesome work. Highly, highly recommend!

Manny and his crew were top notch and professional! I got a bunch of work done including sod, flower beds, tree trimming, fence staining and sprinkler repair. They were timely, responsive and performed high quality work. I would certainly hire them again for future projects.

Manny and his crew were professional and very courteous. They did an excellent job in both the hard scape part of the project and the soft scape portions of the project. They added a beautiful stone edging around the front beds with new plantings, installed drainage pop ups also in the front. They added new edging in the back yard, added new plantings in various beds, and reworked the area around the gas grill. They added soil and mulch to all of the front and back yard beds. They did a beautiful job in upgrading both the front and back yards of our property. We would highly recommend them for any level of landscaping project. We will be contacting them next year to bid on replacing our front yard grass also.

When choosing who was going to do a large job for our home we came across Nathan w/ Sun Drop Landscaping.

Nathan accepted the task and gave us what we wanted and hoped for. I addressed my concerns, areas in need, along with my desires. Nathan was able to execute all of what was asked of him. He understood the details very clearly and communicated to make sure we were happy with the plan, the choices, and the progress of work. He really seemed to get who we were and how our front and backyards matched our personality types. Simplistic but beautiful. Clean looks but bright in colors for our flowers and trees.

Sun Drop did a complete overhaul on our grass both in front and back yards. We had huge problems with water drainage and soil run off and Sun Drop Landscaping went all out on getting this problem remedied along with making sure the future of our yard and home were protected.

We had brick work and walkway or pathway masonry work done as well - jaw dropping gorgeous, quality work! Fast but detailed, w/ care and efficiency. The skill of work done was high quality and beyond what we expected.

From Nathan who represented the company as the main contact for our plans to the actual workers who did the work, to the owner who came out on site to make sure work was done as requested often. Horrible experience. Put on a great show and seemed to be wonderful at the time of the bid, but after that, service was absolutely terrible and the job provided was not satisfactory at all. Let me explain.

We had to reach out MULTIPLE times to finally get on their schedule, after being told it would be only a matter of a week or two. It ended up being about 6 weeks and only because WE were persistent.

Once they did come, the job was done very poorly. They were to remove shrub stumps and shoots, remove the top layer of spent soil/mulch, and trim a yaupon.

The stumps were removed but they left HUGE root systems sticking out everywhere. Some dirt/mulch and weed barrier was removed, but most was left, with the barrier material almost entirely left behind, shredded and useless but also extremely unsightly. And lastly, the tree was not trimmed at all.

The parts of the job they did do were done poorly or incompletely and they didn’t even bother to complete all jobs they were hired for.

In response, they deducted $50 for not trimming the tree and $50 for not clearing enough dirt/mulch. Apparently trimming a tree is very affordable with this company so if they try to charge you more than $50, challenge it.

I have since had to spend well over 6 hours digging up huge roots and shoots, and pulling out weed barrier material. What did I even pay this company for? So frustrating
