AAA Sand & Stone in Dallas

Save your money, your time and sanity. I ordered 1400 dollars worth of rock and paid EXTRA for the delivery. Upon delivery, AAA sand and stone broke their fork lift hydraulic line in my driveway and proceeded to drive over it until they were done unloading. They threw kitty litter on it and called it good. I called the next day to let them know accidents happen, but they need to come fix their boo boo, on my brand new concrete. The manager Benjamin, gave me his HR managers cell phone number. I left her several voicemails, and, nothing. I called Benjamin back, to which he hung up on me. The next day, I finally get ahold of Kim, who is the supposed “HR person”. She tells me that they will get “one of their Guys” to come clean it, but “it will take time”. I ended up spending 6 hours of my own time to pressure wash the driveway myself. After, I call her back and she says they haven’t talked to anyone and they are “busy” so I should get my own bids on pressure washers. I send a bid within the hour. Kim then sends me a legal liability contract. Cool, so now I’m being treated like trash on-top of them destroying my new driveway and not even one single “sorry”. I absolutely know that oil ISN’T coming out of concrete. I call her back and she still refuses to remedy the situation, so I ask for the owner. She says they will discuss it and call me back. In an email form, she sends me the number to their insurance and that they will “no longer discuss this with me”. Haha, WOW!! AAA Sand and Stone is a joke.

I have been using AAA Sand & Stone for years. Whether it be to drop brush off for a much lower rate, or pick up gravel for driveways, or even stone to veneer new builds. They have everything I need and are always friendly. Plus they have enough staff to get me in and out without taking too much of my time

The place is great and all. Prices are good. It would just be nice if someone understood English that was putting the dirt in your truck.

I'm a homeowner and needed a small quantity of flagstones for a DIY project. Home Depot didn't sell them in store, and their online price for a pallet was obscene ($750 for 500 lbs?) I went to AAA and was able to wander around and hand-pick my stones. I got away with 9 small to medium limestone flagstones and 2 extra chunks of limestone for under $30. Will absolutely use AAA again in the future for any project, small or large.

As you can imagine based on that my skills are definitely not landscape work and such which is what I’ve been doing this summer. Luckily on my first visit I had the pleasure of meeting Tim White. Let’s just say this guy is definitely keeping your customers coming back. I’ve seen him on a great day. I’ve seen him when you can tell he’s ready for a day off and even on those bad days that guy is able to manage his smile And give you the right a. 15,000 pounds of rock later after my summer project, I couldn’t be happier with the results and the amount of work that Tim saved me by recommending how much to get at one time for easier unloading since I live close by the right kind of rock, the right sizing I could go on and on. I gave him my business card and then he realized that I was probably a good person to know. I told him he should be a prized employee so to show my card to the owner and let him know what I told him he could do with that, but he is my point of contact Because I wanted to make sure you guys know how awesome he is

Tim and Jessica at the front desk have always been very helpful and patient with me and my million questions.
I own and operate a landscaping business and have been going here every since I started in 2017 and they have helped me since I began, no matter how crazy my questions were.
I like to work with friendly, helpful vendors that are not too busy to help when you need it and found this to be my go to place for all my hardscaping needs.
They have a huge selection and the loaders are always super helpful as well!

If I could put zero stars by I would, this company drives on highways without properly securing their loads along with a poor inspection before and after dropping off loads. It’s highly unprofessional knowing that your vehicles are causing damage to people coming home from work only to have our vehicles damaged by a company that says their not liable. Shame on you.

P.S. they tried and said that it’s because of our busy Texas highways that are hazardous, but when it’s your company that is causing the road hazards, and then say it’s not their problem when the rocks and stones are causing damage to vehicles are coming directly off of your vehicles then no. You can take your comment and leave them with you PA. You caused damages and aren’t willing to accept fault. So again shame on you. Be more professional no stars and I hope someone sues you for it.

This place may be OK for rock & stone but if you're looking for soil to fill low spots in the lawn forget it!!! They said it's a soil mix & told me it is top soil with compost but with years of experience I can tell you it is NOT for this purpose!! It compost with sticks/landscape mix, basically mulch for flowerbeds- look somewhere else!!! FYI they no longer sell sandy loam so better go there & see what you'll be getting. UPDATE: they have offered to make it right as it should be- thank-you!

Probably better off finding your material elsewhere.

GREAT COMPANY!! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! they made it right. Kim stepped in after finding out there was a probelm with my rock delivery. The older woman at their Terrell office took my order. After driving 80 miles to chose the rock I needed I ended up reciving different rock. The older women at the Terrell office refused to do anything to help fix the problem. She was rude and wouldnt budge even after I sent her pictures of the rock. I tried on 3 occassions to get her to see the issue. When Kim, at the Dallas office, discovered there was a problem she called me right away. They immediately sent over more rock at no cost to me. AAA Sand and Stone is a terrific company. I had ordered rock from them in the past and they were great. No issues. It's a shame that one person in an office could have ruined a customers opinion. I will continue to always buy my rock from AAA S & S. Thank you Kim for working with me. and THANK YOU Carlos for delivering the rock ;) ;)

Nice selection of products and good quality. It’s a great stone yard. Yard guys are very helpful with loading and staff in office are knowledgeable about quantities from measurements given. They get busy but you can still get in and out within a half hour if you know the process. Thanks for great service for all my landscape needs

Small but very well supplied

Very terrible customer service!! Ladies who answer the phone lack basic customer service skills, sound very abrupt, and are rude. When you ask them for pricing, which they dont have listed on the website, they answer in a manner as if you're bothering them. One of them sounded irritated when I asked for the pricing of their various flagstones and after she provided pricing for the 3rd type they sell, she said "hold on a second ", placed me on hold for 10 minutes and never came back to the phone. I hung up and called back and they answered immediately so obviously they weren't busy/had me on hold for no reason. When I pointed out what they'd done, I got no apology.
Last weekend, my husband went to pick up some gravel. He paid for it and they sent him to the section of their property that was supposed to have the gravel. He got there and it was all gone. He had to go back to the office where the employee then tells him that they're out of that kind of gravel. I guess all the employees are doing their own thing over there and no one communicates with each other or they dont update their inventory so they know what they have in stock?? Terrible customer service!! Train your employees better. If you dont want to do your job, maybe you shouldn't go to work. I'm sure there are tons of people looking for a job right now who'd be willing to actually put some effort into what they're doing, given the current unemployment rate, thanks to covid 19.

Horrible does not even begin to describe their Customer service. At first, I was told I had to pay 2 delivery fees because I added to an order I placed. It was ridiculous because my order had not been loaded or delivered yet. After much discussion with Benjamin, he agreed that I did not have to pay a 2nd delivery fee for ONE DELIVERY. INSTEAD, I was purposefully charged double the price for 2 extra yards of dirt I added to my original order of 4 yards. STILL only ONE DELIVERY was made. When my husband and I called to resolved the outrageous bill we were treated like the dirt we ordered. Benjamin actually hung up on me and refused to answer my calls. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN and I have already warned 3 of my neighbors to stay clear of the insanity that goes on in this business. If you like being treated like dirt and being ripped off, order from AAA.

I paid for the convenience of getting cushion sand on a Sunday. The place I go in Rockwall was closed, and they only charge $15 for a 1/2 yard. This place charges $28. To make things worse, the sand had many small stones in it and a broken glass bottle. There is better sand, stone and glass free, at the other place. Disappointed with the price and quality.

Kandy and her team helped me design my flagstone patio and built it to my specifications and it came out even better than I had envisioned (and I'm very particular about such things). She even mixed 2 different colors of stone for me. I felt comfortable working with her and her team and they delivered everything as promised. She even followed up with me at the end to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I highly recommend their products and service!

Great place for rock painters.

We spent some time at AAA stone when we bought our home in Dallas. We needed a lot of gravel to go around dozens of pavers we were putting in to replace grass in our back yard. We specified and paid for Tejas Black gravel, as we wanted the contrast between the Tejas and light gray cement pavers. When it was delivered, we could not tell what it was due to lots of gravel dust all over the load.
Once installed, we discovered it was a lighter granite gravel and NOT what we ordered. We contacted AAA and told them what happened. They denied that they had delivered the wrong product.
I sent them an email with a photo of the finished installation.
I received no response.
We will NEVER do business with them again.
Not only did they deliver the wrong product, they CHARGED us for the more expensive Tejas Black.

I went to get rocks for our local rock group #kaufmancountyrocks and have to say the guys were very nice and told me exactly where to go to find the river rock i wanted and it was super cheap. I will definitely be back for more.

Affordable prices.The delivery was on time and good price $80 bucks. Friendly office staff.The flagstone was very beautiful colors and Miguel the best outside worker ever super helpful five star for you Miguel.I would recommend this company.

We had a very large project, starting with drainage all the way down the side and around the back of the house.

The front flower beds were reshaped and prepped as well as a flagstone path added from the front door to the street.

In the back yard we had a cedar deck and a flagstone patio built and flower beds installed.

The team at AAA Sand and Stone are fantastic! Kandace is helpful, prompt and on top of everything! Tony, Omar & "the guys" work hard and do the job right. The attention to detail is refreshing to see. No matter what I asked or requested I was met with friendly helpful faces willing to do what was needed.

Their pricing is reasonable and and the selection of stone and river rock were just what we wanted.

I would recommend them to anyone needing an outdoor project done.

We went to check them out on a Sunday because we wanted to update our pathway to our backyard. Immediately we were impressed with their prices, especially the large cement square pavers. When we went in to inquire about their service, they put me in contact with Candace who was a dream to work with. She was prompt, easy to get a hold of, very knowledgeable and executed everything smoothly. I felt comfortable working with her and she was quick to answer all my questions (there were a lot)! I highly recommend their service and products and look forward to working with them more in the future!

I had AAA Sand & Gravel install a flagstone patio and was extremely pleased with their work. They were professional and kept to their scheduled completion date. Kandice was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with. She even provided design tips and advice without me even asking for it. The project ended up better than my wife and I even planned ourselves.
Before the project I obtained several estimates and met with other Contractor's and I am so glad we went with AAA. The entire crew was top notch. Thanks Kandice & Tony!!!

I got some fill dirt and my experience was wonderful. When I called, the associate was able to help me decide just how much dirt I needed for the project I was doing. The truck came when promised, and the drivers were very friendly and helpful with the delivery. The pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend AAA Sand and Stone to anyone. (I wish I remembered the name of the people who helped me but this was about a year ago.)

You can dump anything here rocks, sand, soil, weeds, anything you can think of for only $20/yard thats the best deal around

This company definitely deserves a good review , I came in and got great service. Their prices were really good . The young girl Alexis that helped me was wonderful and answered all the questions that I had . Will be coming back here .

Service was so bad, a guy in line decided to answer my questions. The women working the counter acted like they never heard of stone being used for a retaining wall. So drove a 60 mile round trip to get what I needed.

I received fantastic customer service. A gentleman named Heath took care of my issue

I stopped by their location to look at some pallets of flagstone and found some nice sized ones for my new patio. I paid for them and was hoping to have them delivered. The pallet I recieved was full of small broken pieces and the largest stone was approximately 12" × 6".
I didn't even hesitate to call and inform the office manager that I recieved something different than what I had ordered. I explained what they were to be used for, just as I had explained when I originally picked my pallet of flagstone.
I was told, "You get what you get."

I told her that what they delivered was completely useless for my project.

Several hundred dollars down the drain and I got charged for them to dump their trash in my driveway!
I will never use them again or recommend rhem to anyone.

What an awesome company!! Not only do they have great prices and quick turn around delivering the product, their staff makes customer satisfaction a real priority. My landscaping guys worked with the office staff to place an order for 8 yards of mulch and unfortunately, there was some confusion about the color of the mulch ordered. The ladies in the office were quick to respond, research the problem and took the necessary steps to correct the issue the same day. They have definitely earned my repeat business for all of my future projects.
