We discovered a leak in our yard on a Sunday. I took a chance with the Google machine and happened upon Pro Green. Google indicated they were open on Sunday so I called. The phone was answered quickly & I told them what I discovered.
Richard told me someone would be out at 9am Monday morning. He also advised me to cut off our main water supply overnight to save water.
We had rain the next morning and they texted me with a new meeting time. The tech showed up exactly when promised, told me what would be done along with the price. The tech work quickly and efficiently. So far I’m happy and would recommend Pro Green to those needing help with their systems.

Edit.... It's kind of a long one so if you make it to the end, thumbs up!

I was given a quote for over $1,800 to replace 2 sprinkler valves (it wound up only one needed replacing), the controller, and a cracked PVC pipe around 3 feet long (and above ground, mind you).

I asked for a breakdown of the quote because I was absolutely baffled. To replace one sprinkler valve, the bid I received was $400, just for that one item. A valve only costs around $20. I then asked the tech how long he expected the job would take and he estimated that the repairs would take roughly 3.5 hours. That's over $500 an hour (this a sprinkler/ lawn care business, I didn't call a criminal defense lawyer).

In my estimation, I feel like I paid $85 to have someone try and rip me off. I called another guy to come out to my house and I wound up paying just under $600 (most of the costs came from parts. I was charged for 1.5 hours of the man's time, not 3.5 hours and I can provide an itemized receipt to prove it). I did the math and found that if I accepted the ridiculous quote I received from the tech (with ProGreen), I would've paid over $1,500 for labor.

If you like paying someone $1,000 plus an hour for labor, call ProGreen and ask them to send the tech who I worked with (whom I will leave unnamed) out to your house for a quote. At the end of our encounter, I used a few probing questions and got the tech to admit (in other words) that he gave me that quote because other people are willing to pay these kinds of prices (he was happy to report that he has around a 95% close rate). Obviously, keep this guy and I mean it. It sounds like he makes this company money.

I'll digress and try to hear me out. As a man myself who's self-employed, I understand there's a cost for labor, employees, marketing, insurance etc.. I place a high value on my time so I'm not mad at you for trying to make a buck. As a business, you need to make a profit, I'm all for that. But c'mon... There's a difference between making a decent profit and price gouging.

If I were to give the tech I met the benefit of the doubt, I'd say he may have hit a slump in sales last week and/ or misunderstood what repairs my system required. Maybe, maybe not.

On a positive note, Richard (the owner, we did not meet), was very responsive over the phone whenever I reached out. I'm open to having a conversation to get a better understanding as to why I had the experience I had. If it's not worth the time, so be it.

Upon moving into our new home in Cedar Hill, we discovered that our in-ground sprinkler system was missing a foundation-watering zone. We hired Pro Green Landscape Solutions to come out, assess our system, and install the missing zone. Pro Green did all that and more, including replacing a few sprinkler heads and reprogramming our sprinkler box to run the system at better times. The Pro Green team was responsive and professional. Very happy with the work that they performed.

Abdul is very knowledgeable and quoted a very reasonable price for necessary repairs without trying to up sell. My system is in tip top shape now. I will definitely call ProGreen for my inspection next year.

Early to the job which was awesome. Whent straight to work and with in 10 minutes knew exactly what needed to be done. Did not charge me for non needed items and walked me theough the whole repair and all sections to make sure all where working properly after job was done.

I really can’t say enough about this company. I had an irrigation problem that started to leak in an another spot after the first spot was fixed. This had nothing to do with the work they first did and Richard/pro green came out no problem and fixed it. The work was actually bad work done by the builder and company that installed the irrigation system but Richard made it new!!
