Milestone Electric, A/C, & Plumbing in Dallas

Tyler with Milestone Electric, AC, & Plumbing came out today to replace a rusted AC pan, unclog the drains, and service our unit. He did a fantastic job and explained everything thoroughly. He even took a video to show us the before and after aspects of the repair. Tyler removed all the old parts and took them with him, so I didn't have to dispose of anything. He left all areas he worked in clean and tidy. He was professional and courteous. He even wore plastic covers over his shoes when indoors. I was happy with the service and highly recommend Milestone (and Tyler) for your next job!

Cristian K was such a pro to work with. He started by documenting and explaining everything thoroughly - he created a video to easily evidence his findings - he was very friendly and informative about costs and services Milestone could provide - all for a fair and acceptable price. Luis Percy provided exceptional AC repair service. His professionalism stood out from the start - they actually reached out to see if he could arrive early for the appointment, which was a welcome surprise. He quickly diagnosed and resolved our cooling problem, getting our upstairs back to a comfortable temperature. His courtesy in checking before arriving early shows great respect for customers’ time. I have heard Milestones commercials for years but never called because we had friends of the family that would fix things for us if my Dad or brother couldn't. However, this time I needed to call and I saw their commercial 3xs in on week so I knew that was my signal to call. I am glad I did. The tech who came is named Will Menzies and he was stellar! He understood the assignment so well and was concerned about our families safety. His concern came from a carbon monoxide leak from our water heater. He called his office to schedule their plumbing team to come out and assess the next steps. I am so grateful for Will and being so good at his job! Milestone doesn't try to up-sell anything that you don't need just to make a buck! They also have a network of home repair company's they use to help shore up your home!They really do care about their customers. I recommend you call them for all your heating, AC, and plumbing needs.
***UPDATE TO PRAISE DAYTON GALLAGHER***(the link sent wouldn't work)...Just like Will, Dayton was on top of his job! He worked hard to get us a package deal on all the worked our home needed done! Phenomenal, respectful, & amazing. He diagnosed our ac problems and fixed it. He really took care of us. He checked everything that could be checked to make sure everything would run smoothly. After two years of techs who told us our ac was fine when it was not cooling our condo, we are firm fans of Mr Riggins and Milestone Electric.

I'm writing this review out of significant disappointment with Milestone and the AC unit they installed. My AC unit, installed by Milestone in 2017, recently experienced an evaporator coil failure and is leaking refrigerant. This is incredibly frustrating, as the unit is less than 10 years old.

Even more concerning is the warranty issue. Despite what I understood to be a 10-year warranty, both the manufacturer and Milestone are refusing to honor it, claiming the warranty was only 5 years because I am not the original homeowner. This feels incredibly unfair, especially since I have diligently paid Milestone to maintain this system since I moved into my home.

Milestone's only proposed solution is a full replacement, but I'm hesitant to put the same manufacturer's unit back in my home when the previous one failed within 10 years. This experience has left me questioning the quality of the products Milestone installs and their commitment to their customers, even those who consistently use their maintenance services. I expected better longevity from an AC unit and better support from a company I've trusted with my home's HVAC system.

Baker Brothers Electric is better-
Milestone electric can't even figure out how to honor their scheduled appointments, making it easier for me to choose Baker Brothers Electric for my expensive electric project. I scheduled my appointment with Milestone Electric one week in advance, to receive a price quote to have my circuit breaker panel relocated and updated. I was scheduled for Thursday, June 19 between 2p-5p. The employee who scheduled my appointment told me that it would be noted on my file that I wouldn't be available until 3:30p or later. My appointment day comes around and I received a call at 10:10a from Tiger at Milestone Electric telling me that the repairman is on the way to my home. I explained how my appointment was scheduled for 2p-5p and the soonest I would be available is 3:30p or later. Tiger agreed to this. Then I get a call again at 2:05p from Tiger telling me that the repairman is on his way to my home. I reminded Tiger that I've already mentioned not being home until 3:30p - remember. Tiger just abruptly canceled my appointment and hung up. THANK YOU Milestone for showing me your true colors before wasting my time and money! Baker Brothers thanks you for sending my business their way. My experience with Baker Brothers has been top notch from scheduling, to site visit, to even my price quote! Don't waste your time with Milestone like I did, call BAKER BROTHERS ELECTRIC instead!

Very impressi with Milestorm plumbling service. Cristian and Too were very knowledgeable and highly skilled in their plumbing. They changed out My faucets and shower head in my bathroom tub. They changed the pipes under both the bathroom cabinets. They un stop my face bowl. I am very happy things are working now. Thanks guys!!!

Cristian worked for over an hour to clear our stubborn shower drain, helped us avoid unnecessary expense, gave us clear insight into how to mitigate the issue in the future, and was professional and respectful of our property throughout. I had a pipe burst in my home and they sent an AC guy, even after I specifically said "there's a water leak and I need a plumber" I was left without water for half a day and charged for an emergency visit that took HOURS for them to respond too. Thank god the fire department showed up to turn off the water.

I've also come to the conclusion that their techs will lie to you to trick you into spending more money. As a female home owner, it makes me want to avoid calling a handyman. First I had a toilet that was leaking and they charged $200 to replace a part only for it to continue leaking. I had another plumber look at it and tell me the chain was too tight and fixed the problem for free.

Another plumber from Milestone told me I needed to have my sink replaced because it was leaking. Nope. Just needed a new gasket and to be tightened.

I'm willing to bet that the "leaky" hose hookup outside just needed to be tighten too.

What crooks. I already canceled my service after they sent the AC guy out for a plumbing issue back in January, but after realizing this about the sink and toilet, I had to come back and warn others not to spend their money.

If you're in Little Elm, call Porpoise Plumbing instead. Great prices and just good people.

Jesus did a great job with replacing our filter in our bar area, and the faucet there is back to a normal flow! He also found a broken ring, had to run to Lowe’s to get a replacement, which he did with no additional cost. A Milestone star!

Mr. Tadlock went above and beyond it more than just a simple hot water heater flush. I won't go into more detail, but he found something wrong in my house that he took ownership of and simply would not let slide. Sadly, Milestone can't help me fix it in the way I would like, but Mr. Tadlock may have offered me another solution to my problem.

Clint did a great job replacing four ceiling lights. The lights he replaced was about 30 years old.

Their newest commercial with the kids screaming/singing "Plumbing plumbing plumbing" makes me want to drink bleach. I'll never use this company just due to this annoying commercial that plays on Fox every 10 minutes. What a terrible PR move to think this commercial was a good one.

We HATE your REPETITIVE tv commercials that are on every 5 minutes. If you are so desperate for business that you have to advertise that much we assume your service is TERRIBLE and we will NEVER CALL you because of it!!!
PLEASE reduce the frequency of your ads!! It is hurting your business rather than helping-in our opinion!!

Milestone has always given accurate estimates and projected level of effort. They communicate when they are coming, who is coming, and actually arrive prepared to do the work. Great quality, great cleanup, and customer care. Our go to electricians. No job too tough.

Follow up review. Had a difficult to reach can light issue in a freshly painted pantry. Milestone's technician took care to protect the paint and patiently solved the problem.

Was having an electric issue with a recently flipped home. After a few head scratches our tech Phillip Blake had it figured out and made things working properly.

I've had experience with many different electric companies over the years, but this company blew me away with their commitment to customer service and their professionalism, especially since it seems post-pandemic that most companies just don't care about making the customer happy. Milestone is the 2nd company we had come out to fix an emergency electrical problem, and they couldn't be different from the 1st disaster of an electrician that came. Their price is competitive, their employees are professional, their work is quick & well done, they install quality equipment, your happiness matters AND if they make a mistake, it's a small one and they fix it fast, free of charge. So happy we found Milestone. I will never have anyone else do electrical work on my house again.

He had already read our service history was familiar with the relevant details of the house and was as pleasant as someone you might be meeting for coffee. This is an updated review. This time we encountered difficulty in installing replacement outdoor light fixtures. After hearing a pop and all the fixtures went dead, I called Milestone. Being an Advantage member, they responded quickly and scheduled an electrician to come out the next morning (my request).
Lamarius Reese showed up early (I agreed) and quickly went to work. In a few minutes, he found the problem (a loose wire in a wire cap) and had the system up. This electrician is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He even installed the fixture that had caused the problem!! He is welcome to come service my home anytime.
Being an Advantage member even saves money. No trip/service fees and 15% discount on all work. My membership paid for itself after only two visits. And my HVAC tune-up visits (twice yearly) are included at no charge are even in my calculations!

Made an appointment online for electrical work on Monday for Thursday morning. Thursday morning a received a text that Danni Orellana would be coming to do the service. I also received a phone call with the arrival time. Danni arrived on time and I walked him through my issues and he quoted me a price. Danni is very engaging with a great personality and we chatted while he worked on the quote. I accepted the quote and he immediately went to work and got the job done quickly and expertly. Because he was so quick I ended up adding some extra work too that got done fast. I will say that Milestone is not the cheapest but I know the company is licensed and bonded, the job will be done right, and I don't have to worry about anything coming up missing. I definitely recommend Milestone.

Wayne Copeland was the technician sent to clean the drains in my main bathroom. Polite (to the max) and through. He took the time to explain and illustrate what my problem was (a tree root had gotten into my line.) This kid deserves a raise! I'll call Milestone the next time I have a plumbing problem.

I want to thank Landon Bridges for solving the problem that has persisted for almost 2 years, a short in the overflow valve indicator. This was a major problem that caused my system to reset itself and shut the A/C or the Heating off at random. Again, thank you Landon and thank you Milestone for resolving this in a timely manner.

Jonathan Herbert was exceeded expectations in resetting the timer for my outside lights to go on. He really knew what he was doing and had to take the whole timer apart. He even went out to check the circuit breaker. He went over the way I reset the time to turn on and off. He was an amazing asset to Milestone.

I called them due to an upstairs bathtub that was leaking into the downstairs ceiling. They sent someone out to cut into the ceiling and replace the trap under the bathtub. A few days later it started leaking again. They sent someone else out and said the first person didn't do it correct. Charged me almost $2,000 for the repair!

Then they talked me into joining their annual service plan to get a discount on the service. This came with a "free" HVAC checkup. They sent a teenager with a camera who took apart my A/C and took a bunch of scary pictures and claimed the unit needed tens of thousands of dollars in repairs, which was hand-written on a piece of paper. Well that was years ago, I never got any of the repairs they said I needed. The only problem I've had is that the guy didn't put the screws back into the A/C unit when he was done and it's been blowing cold air into my attic since then.

Michael was quick to identify the resolution to our plumbing issues and he was very professional answering all my questions. He’s knowledgeable and experienced in customer service and I highly recommend him and Milestone for all your service needs.

Iram was very thorough when diagnosing the issues with my AC unit. I’ve had issues with this AC unit off and on for 7 years and other companies came in and would do a very quick fix just to get it working slightly better. I would definitely recommend Iram for any of your AC needs!

Started out as a an electrical mystery and turned into an electrical victory.

** Avoid **
I had issues with water pressure and pipes making hammering noises. Avoid for the following reasons -
- Deceptive charges: They said the visit to give the quote is free but then charged 159 for the diagnostics which involved hearing me say out loud what issues I was experiencing.
- Exorbitant Quote: ~ 4,500 to replace pressure regulating valve (PVR) and install an expansion tank.
- Additional riders: Potentially to slap additional charges.

Refused to engage them, had the same thing done at 1,230 from ADR plumbing. They also installed an additional cutoff valve for free.

Both employees from Milestone were knowledgeable. Their professionalism was much appreciated.
