Very good experience with Mother Modern Plumbing. Josh and his helper was very professional and did the job from 10 to almost 5. The rerouted my hot water pipings due to slab leak and replaced my 13 years old hot water heater with a new one with 12 years warranty. What was amazing was no jackhammer, no hole in the floor and only (minor) evidences of their great work was 2 small cutoff drywall.

They clean up all the mess and left the place better and cleaner than before.

So our mortgage insurance policy was recently switched to a different company via our broker. The new company required that a home inspector come out and look at our property. Everything seemed to go fine. A day later we got a 39 page report with their findings. They were threatening to drop our new policy saying we had a “water leak at the property” and they included a picture. I looked at the picture and there is a small water mark on the tile floor behind my 1/2 bath pedestal sink. Are you serious?
Some plumbers tape and tightening of the nut could’ve solved that problem but no they wanted to drop us unless we submitted a report with photos from a licensed plumber showing the repair along with invoices and documentation of services. SMH

After many email communications and phone calls with plumbers, none of which would give me a “rough estimate” even after providing photos, I settled on going with Mother Modern Plumbing.

They had a tech come out same day and fix it in a snap.
Steven was the individual who came to do the repair. He was professional, explained what needed to be done and didn’t try to hustle me.
On top of that he was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Installing a brand new P Trap.
Best part is they wrote up the report I needed with photos, video and a detailed description of what was done.
And it didn’t cost a fortune.
I’m happy, wife is happy.. so all is good.

Matthew did a great job! I was very happy with Matthew’s analysis of my situation. He was able to replace my old cast iron plumbing that was causing our kitchen sink to not drain properly. Once he reconfigured the plumbing, replacing it with PVC, he was able to see that the rest of the line was in good shape which saved me some money. We thought we had a main water leak from the street to the house and due to the thoroughness of the technition we found out it was only a sprinkler system issue. Josh was awesome in explaining everything and so thorough in his investigation we couldn't be happier with him and the outcome. Although we didn't need the repairs from them I would highly recommend Mother Modern Plumbing. A breath of fresh air with honesty and integrity!

Way too expensive. They wanted to charge me $3,400 for a new water heater and then when I said no thanks they tried to charge me $89 for the free estimate. I ended up going to Same Day Plumbing and paid $2,032.

This was a difficult situation. We had broken pipes in the slab both hot side and cold side. I got quotes from some reputable plumbers and the numbers for exploratory repair or replacement were significantly outside my budget. Mothers came to the rescue by re-plumbing the entire supply side of our two story home at fraction of the cost of the other quotes. They were professional, timely, and took every curve ball that my old house threw at them with a smile and NO UP CHARGE! I will be a Mothers customer for life, they have earned my loyalty.

I had a slab leak and the recommended repair was to reroute the water line through the attic. Matthew and his assistant were very competent and professional. It took them about 5 hours, they had to verify where the leak was and then cut 3 holes in the sheet rock in the pantry and a bedroom, then run the new line. When they left, there was no mess in the bedroom, kitchen, and garage. They replaced all items they had to take out, swept and mopped the floors. I would definitely use them again.

Called Mother Modern Plumbing on Memorial Day and they were open!! Called around 11:30 and they were out to our house in Northlake by 2 o’clock! We had a backed up drain and had not been able to use our kitchen sink all weekend. There was no up charge for it being a holiday. Tyler was fantastic! Extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly got to the root of the problem and was in and out in about an hour. I can’t believe calling a plumber on Memorial Day only cost me 300 bucks! I will 100% be using Mother Modern again should we have plumbing needs and will definitely be requesting Tyler!

Colton and Tyler from Mother Modern Plumbing came out to install a leak detection and auto shutoff system. They completed the job quickly and neatly and sourced and coordinated the electrician needed to complete the job.

Water was backing up in my kitchen sink. I did everything I could think of: vinegar and baking soda, using an allen wrench to loosen up anything in the garage disposal, removing the pipes and checking for clogs. Nothing worked. I found MMP through Next Door reviews, and they came out the same day I called! After sending a camera down, they discovered there is a dip in the pipe under my foundation, and over many years, that got clogged up. Unfortunately there is no fixing that, but he did manage to get it unclogged! I just have to be diligent about not using my garbage disposal as much. The total was $300.

Our main sewage line had a tree root grow in and cause a sewage backup. We had to call after hours and talked to Matt. He walked us through what the problem might be and gave us up front pricing estimates that we weren't getting from other places. Colton showed up the next morning and kept me informed throughout the repair. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything as he was doing it. This was not a fun problem to deal with at all but Mother Modern made it as near painless as something like this can be.

I had a leaking toilet in the master bathroom and called this company for help. The plumber removed the toilet, replaced the thin wax ring (which had been causing the issue), reset the toilet, and caulked it. The repair came with a 6-year parts and labor warranty, which gave me peace of mind.
While the cost initially felt a bit steep compared to what I had researched, when I brought my concern to customer service, they responded kindly and professionally. I truly appreciated that they took the time to address the issue and make it right.

Slab leak repair. Mother Modern Plumbing educated us on what was happening with our plumbing and made repair recommendations. They did not try to upsell us with unnecessary repairs. It was a good experience; they did what they said they would do and at the quoted price.

He basically fixed 4 things. He fixed the stripped shower handle (linked me to a low cost solution on-line) he fixed the outdoor faucet, he fixed the leak underneath the kitchen sink. And he fixed the stopped-up drain in the bathroom sink. I am very happy.

I had to make essentially an emergency call to have an outdoor faucet repaired, that required shutting off the water to the house. Came within an hour and had everything fixed (and upgraded) within 15 minutes of arrival, not to mention dealt with a few other minor issues when he was here. The call center was friendly and responsive, and Steven Dickson (the plumber) was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Easy scheduling. On time arrival with the correct parts and tools on the first visit. They fixed our faucet leak that another plumber told us they’d need to order parts for. They replaced a shower valve and cleaned up the work area, and then didn’t blink an eye when we asked them to look at some things we hadn’t even brought them out to do. 15 minutes later our guest bath toilet was flushing perfectly and our outside hose spigot was no longer leaking.
