Roto-Rooter came at a no cost estimate and sent Jose in about an hour. He was very professional and courteous and was able to communicate with us in English and Spanish for me and my husband. He gave excellent service and was very knowledgeable. We were very happy with the service despite circumstances of the problem. He held solve our issue and we are happy it includes a video at a later time of our pipes.

I've used Roto Rooter several times at work, never had a problem. Jason is always professional and gets the job done. Sean and another guy, I can't remember his name, they did a great job too. They came out in 2 hours and even cleaned up, I appreciate that.

Matthew arrived quickly on Christmas night to unclog my kitchen sink. He took great care with my home and was very professional. He was done in about 30 mins and cleaned up the area before he left. I was very happy with this service.

I give zero stars! My husband and I hired Roto-Rooter back in August for a job, and despite pointing out where all the leaks were coming from, we are still dealing with the same issue today. We were rushed into filing a claim with our insurance company, but Roto-Rooter couldn't fulfill their part, causing them to stop the work entirely. My house remains incomplete, yet we were still required to pay the bill. I urge everyone to pay close attention to their invoices. We are extremely disappointed with how we were misled and treated by this company. The office staff was unprofessional and rude, even going so far as threatening to place a lien on our home despite our bill being current. The bottom line is, my house is falling apart because the plumbing is failing, and Roto-Rooter failed to provide the service they promised. We would not recommend them to anyone.

We had a plumbing issue on Thanksgiving and had family coming in a few hours. Matthew and Jason were so helpful and didn’t give up on fixing our issue. They did a great job and managed to save the day.

Roti Rooter is FANTASTIC. Drew was our technician today, and he was truly a gift to work with. He came out to us to fix a major water leak on Thanksgiving Day, and brought a positive attitude, efficiency, and competence. He was all done in a couple of hours and did a perfect job of a really complex job. We can’t thank him enough!

I woke up to a terrible back up in my shower due to a clog in my toilet line. After trying to DIY to no success, I called Rotorooter at 7a and they had someone at my house by 8:45a.
Matthew was so thorough and was able to fix the issue. He walked me through the issue step by step and kept me up to date with what he found. Even though the issue was in my toilet line, he double checked the main line, where he found BRICKS lodged there, which could have caused issues in the future, but were able to correct on the spot. The flat fee also includes a camera inspection and a 6 months warranty. I highly recommend this company.

Scheduled an appointment using Roto-Rooter’s online link. The process was very easy. I received a call and text about 30 minutes before the plumber arrived, which was very helpful.
The plumber Matthew was polite and very professional. He had read over the notes about our toilet issue that I had included in the online link and he asked a few questions before testing the toilet. After looking at things he told us what he suspected was wrong and the solution and then quoted a fair price. We agreed and watched as he fixed it. Matthew carefully explained what he was doing and how we could avoid problems in the future. Very appreciated!

I made an appointment in advance. I received an email saying that my appointment was confirmed. On the day of the appointment I waited for the full 2 hours during the time window in which my appointment was "confirmed". The plumber never showed up during the appointment window. I called the customer service number. After a very long hold time, they told me that an email confirming the appointment was not an actual confirmation, that the plumber was stuck at another job, and that they would need to reschedule. I cancelled the appointment. I need a dependable company that actually follows through on their word (to me, "confirmed" means they are definitely coming). I have used Roto Rooter in Florida successfully in the past, but clearly the Dallas franchise is not the same. I will be giving my business to another company. If you want someone to show up, beware that they may not actually come, even though they say they will.

Mathew from roto-rooter showed up exactly on time. Was very professional and patient and explained exactly what my problem was. He spent time finding the block and fixed it. He kept the work area very clean and then also checked surrounding areas to make sure there were no leaks from the repair. I will use the company again and specifically ask for Mathew.

Plumbers who dont quote you a price/estimate over the phone should be avoided. $500 to roto-rooter a drain line is crazy unless its midnight. Granted I would expect their price to double if its after hours. Other plumber do this for around $200-250, without any coupons. You can rent one for $100 at Home Depot/Lowes and do it yourself. Granted they do scope out the cleaned line afterwards, regardless of it you want it. If the roto-rooter come out with root you pretty much know what the issue was. They are required to make a over priced sales pitch to fix it any issues found. The scope is probably worth at least another $100.

The Plumber was a nice guy but did not take his shoes off inside.
He verbally quoted $309 then changed it to $399 on the paper bill, after the work was done. Called them and they have stated they will return $90 next week. If they came out at $309, without issue, it would be a 4 star. If the tech would have taken his shoes off after being in the flower bed. That would be a 5 star visit.
4 days later they refund came through so I bumped to 3 stars.

The rudest technician on earth, hung up on me after telling me he “didn’t have to do anything” when I was trying to help him find parking. They sent another and quoted us $400 for a problem that was solved with $30 worth of supplies in the end. 0/10.

Matthew came out after hours and took good care of my parents town home, where the toilet backed up.
He worked with us and massaged the price to help get it down as they are Seniors and Retired Military, with his Mamagers Approval to do do. He was clean and worked quickly, my only suggestion would be to bring your paperwork in with you at night so you aren’t back & forth into someone’s home.

We had a clogged sink, which we tried to unclog ourselves. We just didn't have the right equipment. Steve unclogged the pipes and cleaned up the work area after he was done. It was pricey but worth the peace of mind. I would use them again if necessary.

The plumber who fixed the issue was great. The guy with the camera tried to tell me the problem was significantly worse than it actually was and that I needed $9k-$23k of new plumbing. Not cool.

I had service performed on some seriously clogged drains in my automobile dealership wash bays. A technician arrived within an hour of my call. He completed the work within an hour and a half and helped clean up the mess caused by the blockage. First class service by a first class technician.

My Hot Water Heater was leaking. The Tech came and replaced it. I thought he was professional and did a great job. Next day there were issues so I contacted him and set an appointment for the following morning. However, the Tech blew off the appointment. IF you need follow up service you're out of luck. They already have your money (thousands and thousands).
UPDATE
I called an Electrician. They told me my house breaker/electrical systems were fine and that while checking the control panel of the NEW water heater noticed water leaking into the control panel. Next day it's Roto Rooter's turn.

Mohammad (the Tech's supervisor) came out --after I contacted the main office. The people in the main office were wonderful.

Mohammad came out. While talking to him--and I rehashed what the Electrician said. He gave me some mumbo jumbo about how the warranty could be compromised if the Electricians took the electrical housing from where it was at. He also told me the gray thick wire (power lines connecting to breakers) could be the reason for the leak into the control panel. This was the expertise I was getting from Mohammed the Supervisor. He left. After telling me to text him after the water turned back off--because water leaking into control panel is no big deal. It went off a couple hours later and I texted him. He said he would send a Tech tomorrow.

Tomorrow (or today, the day of this update). It's almost 10am. I call main office just in case Mohammed did not make an appointment. I texted him in the morning and did not get a reply. Office said someone was coming bw 10am and 2pm.

The Tech comes out. He verifies water in the control panel. He calls the number on the NEW water heater to order a replacement. He tells me a Rep from Rheem will call me when they get a replacement. Roto Rooter is done. I'm left waiting.

Update:
Almost a month later I'm working with Rheem and their contractor to get a working water heater. Roto-Rooter took over 3800.00 AND they think they earned it. "We put it in. The rest isn't our problem. It's yours.". That kinda thing.

You will be better served by using another company. Don't get fooled into thinking bigger company is better. It's not. I could have used a smaller company in the area that would have done the same work for 2500.00 or less plus they would have made sure I had a working water heater at the end. Even if it meant them going to get a replacement themselves. Look around.

FINAL UPDATE:
I contacted Pat Swanson as a last resort. Mind you I had spoken to two managers by this point. I didn't have high hopes. However, I received a call from MARCUS a Mitigation Manager. He listened to me. Understood my point of view and why I was dissatisfied with Roto-Rooter's service. He resolved my problem. I honestly thought I would get the same response from that I received from other managers. However, MARCUS resolved it to my satisfaction.

Had roots growing in the drain line. The technician did a great job of cleaning it out.

Roto Rooter is literally the worst. They are terrible at communication, never follow through with what’s promised and don’t resolve the issue. I would recommend using anyone else.

Had a main line stoppage at 1am on a Friday night and they were there at 8am Saturday morning to fix the clog Amazing , fast and courteous… Technician Mya was great 👍

We were not getting hot water. I called RR and a tech was at my house within 2 hours. He guessed the problem, fixed it and we were taken care of in 30 minutes. This is a happy customer.

I was really disappointed with the pricing and business model of this company. I called in because i had a small leak in my condo. I showed the plumber where the pipes are and when he opened the wall up he discovered that the drainage pipe t connection had come loose. What should have been a 30 min job regluing the connection or even just replacing the connection. They bid to replace the pipe all the way down to my 1st floor at a total of $3,150. I decided not to go through with it and so they charged me $531 just to diagnose the problem.

I called a different plumber who charged me $400 to replace the connection in about an hour. To me appears this company will only bid for work that is in the thousands and if you don't accept they are more than happy to just collect the $500 diagnostic fee for about an hour of work.

I guess I can't say they treat everyone like this but this was my experience.

I had a clogged sewer line, no big deal - same happened 4 years ago - back then a different plumber scoped and snaked, fixed the clog in a half hour, for $250, noting my (original) 50 year old plumbing looked great.
1/16/2024 ROTOROOTER quoted $500 to scope and snake, reduced to $425 bc my Mom's elderly, I paid $425 and they claimed it was blocked, they'd have to return with different equipment for an additional $900 ($1,325 total) RIDICULOUS. Called BillyGO who scoped and snaked, cleared the clog in a half hour for $199. BillyGO also noted it appeared ROTOROOTER hadn't even put anything into the pipe. Probably why the ROTOROOTER technician, VINCE, and later the Excavation Estimator, DAVID T, acted shifty and wouldn't make eye contact... SHAME ON YOU BOTH!

Matthew was just great!! He showed up at an odd hour (which I really, really appreciated!!) - and was very thorough in his investigation of the problem at hand - making sure my pipes were thoroughly unplugged and cleaned out before he left.

Unusual! Dishwasher filled lines with Solid, white fat. Rerouted washer line to go directly to disposal. Cleaned fat out of disposal. Loy pf hard work by Derek on Manasco.

Our technician (Kelvin) got here at the very beginning of the arrival window, explained everything as he went along, and made sure the problem was resolved completely before he left. The topper to the whole experience was that he was so nice, informative, and forthcoming with advice that will help us in the future.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when calling Roto Rooter my first time after finding my toilet was leaking into my bathtubs. It was an unpleasant catastrophe that I would have no clue how to handle. I didn’t have to try, thanks to their technician, Jonathan, and their cameraman (for the pipe), Cody. Jonathan hung in with me for hours until it was concluded that the City’s sewage line has a clog causing my issue and it seeped into my front and back yards. I would have been lost and in hysterics in sewage without Jonathan’s calm and kind demeanor and I will be forever grateful to him. He also translated for me to my neighbor, who was also affected by the clog and is worse off than me. Jonathan was thorough, explained everything to me and didn’t leave me in confusion. I’d give ten stars if I could!!!!!
