Update March 2025- I have had two visits at a new home this year and Tribeca is responsive and fair! Will continue to use them.

Tribeca came out for a main line break in my backyard and promptly fixed it! Then 2 weeks later they came out for a bathroom leak repair! Super fast work! Thank you!

Well, this plumber is responsive. But that’s the best thing I can say about them. I’ve had them do a lot of work on my house and then had to have different plumbers come and fix their mistakes.

They’ve cut into my walls on four different occasions. Only once did they offer to repair after the fact without further cost. Once they cut into a closet wall to find pipes but instead found another closet. It was a challenge to get them to repair that mistake and it took several weeks and requests for them to take action.

Jay is difficult to work with. Jeremy tries hard but is in over his head on projects. The rest of the plumbers are inexperienced and make many mistakes.

Their billing department is inept. They sent invoices to the wrong email address and then a month later sent text messages about putting a lien on my house or filing legal action. Hard to pay a bill you don’t receive because they can’t spell your name right.

I had a very positive interaction with the technician Jay. I had a dishwasher that was unable to drain. He provided very detailed explanations and helped me resolve the issue quickly while mitigating costs. I have used this company before and will definitely do the same in the future.

I have used Tribeca Plumbing four times now; three for residential plumbing jobs and one heating/HVAC job. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with their service. If you want an honest and reasonable company to help you when your plumbing goes sideways, these are your folks. In particular, Jay is a class act. He is professional, knowledgeable, dependable, patient, and educational. He is a master of his craft and one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

After hiring these individuals, I was quoted a ballpark range price and obvious as expected, They billed me the highest rated price and the job did not equate to what I was invoiced. The work was done but overpriced would not recommend not use them again.

They were able to squeeze us in 12 hours in advance for an emergency service.

I would not work with them again. They charged $995 to not fix our HVAC system and simply “diagnose” the problem. They changed the invoice 2 times when we pointed out that it was not accurate and included work not performed. Their solution: charge the same amount and just relabel the repair work not done as diagnostics. I was traveling when the invoice back and forth was going on so it took me a month to find a time to speak to the owner, Richard, about it. I had hoped he would engage in a discussion about the value of what they delivered and the fact that the changes to the invoice were suspect. He just wanted to lecture me on the value of his time. I paid Richard for his “valuable” time but I didn’t get $995 of value from these guys and Richard’s approach to customer service convinced me to never use them again.

UPDATE: While Richard's long, defensive response is not accurate, that is besides the point. He was paid for his services. The reason I wouldn't work with him again is pretty clear from his response. He wants to lecture his customers and complain about them. One can debate whether the customer is always right, but regardless they should at least be treated with respect. That's not how my wife and I feel after our interactions with Richard and why I posted this review.

I recently had a great experience with Tribeca Plumbing when a paving company broke an irrigation pipe in my alley. Jay and a helper came out, quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it in a couple of hours. Jay is awesome and I will call Tribeca for any other plumbing needs I may have in the future! Thank you!

FYI, there is a service fee, which wasn't disclosed to me before the visit. That said, I feel fine having paid for the advice alone.

We had Tribeca Plumbing come out to check on a broken sewer drain. They quickly came out and found the break. They suggested we call the city because the break was past the city clean-out. The city came out and fixed the break. Tribeca saved us $8,000.00 that another plumbing co. was going to charge us to repair the break.

Tribeca has been AMAZING each time I have called! After having my foundation repaired, my worst fears of multiple leaks in my cast iron pipes were found. Tribeca diagnosed and had a crew onsite within a week and quickly dealt with the problem of replacing all of the pipes under my house with PVC at a VERY reasonable price. This project is/was messy but very well managed and contained despite all of the rain that took place while the tunnels were dug and re-filled. The plumbing team - Jay, Ramon and Josea - were phenomenal. I highly recommend this crew and company to deal with any and all plumbing needs.

We have used them for many different projects including a complete renewal of our outside plumbing. Blake and Jay are the 2 plumbers who have provided exceptional work for us in the last year. They are experts and happy to answer any and all of your questions. I came away with a lot of additional knowledge. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable. Their pricing is very fair and reasonable. Tribeca is the best in town. We will never use another service.

The leak in question has been active since just before October 18, 2023, and as such, it was not treated as an emergency. Our maintenance personnel guided your technician to the affected building, which we had already identified due to the high-water bill associated with it.

While I did not initiate a follow-up call, I did have a few conversations with Alan when he called me. Our regional manager also reached out to Alan, offering a fee of $175 for the service call and the technician's brief visit. Unfortunately, this offer was declined.

Our request was specifically for a bid on the leak detection, not for a bill. As such, no fees were discussed at any point. Furthermore, I did not indicate that I would reach out to tenants regarding this matter, as the hiring of contractors is handled by our regional manager and at the time of your visit, we were in the process of gathering bids from various plumbing companies, and yours was the second company we had contacted.
Attached to this review, you will find the first bid we received from One Source Plumbing. Their team conducted a site visit, accompanied by our maintenance staff, and provided a bid for leak detection services. This aligns with our original request when we first contacted your company - we were seeking a bid for leak detection, not “confirmation of a leak”.

The attached document, dated December 7, 2023, indicates that we had already identified the issue and provided your technician with this information. Given this, we are unclear about the nature of the $475 fee on your invoice, as it appears no additional work was performed.

Jay was excellent! I needed a quick repair to replace the valves for the washing machine before the new one could be installed in my daughter’s new home. She was moving in that week so it was important to get it done quickly. Jay came out right away and replaced the valves, but he didn’t stop there. He also installed the washing machine we had that was dropped off in the garage and then fixed a leak in the tub that we had gotten much larger quote for. He worked quickly so we got it all done in less than an hour and 15 minutes.

Tribeca Plumbing has been my go to plumbing company since moving into a 100 year old house in Dallas, and they have been great every time I’ve called them. I’ve had a few pipes burst in the freezes, and they have always been super helpful, professional and reasonable. They will try as hard as possible to come the day I call (even if it’s super busy and even if that means coming outside of normal hours), and will work asap to fix any issues.

This is the company to call when you need immediate service. Their team was at our house in less than 45 minutes and fixed our leak in less than 10 minutes. You won’t be disappointed with the service.

I had a leak in my bathroom and my friend recommended this company to get it fixed. I called Friday 1/12 and they said they would be there that day. I told them what time my business closed yet they weren't able to give me an ETA of when they would arrive. Eventually they came after work hours thus making me wait and said they couldn't fix it because they didn't have the part, so we rescheduled for Tuesday morning 1/16 between 9:30-10am. Tuesday came and I came to work early specifically for the fix up and waited....after some time, I decided to call and they said there was a mishap and that they didn't have me in the system but would still come that day. I waited and still no one came so we rescheduled for Wednesday instead. Finally they came out yesterday, but the handy man didn't have the tool so he said he would be right back to get it. He showed up 2 hours later and proceeded to work on the leak. Then he said he needed another part and said he would come back to which he did an hour or 1 1/2 hr later mind you this company charges you by the hour ($250/hr and $225 to come out). In the end he couldn't even fix the leak and capped the pipe (charging me extra for this labor) AND even left a hole under the sink in the wall (said they would send someone out to fix it for another cost). Overall, I do not recommend this company. Their scheduling system is not accurate. This company likes to over promise and under deliver.

Had damage to incoming gas line just before jan 12 th winter storm that lasted a week. Called Tribeca who responded immediately and did the repair in two days. As the job completed had difficulty getting city and gas service to turn gas through holiday weekend. Tribeca worked the issue and saved the day

We called in late afternoon with an emergency, our gas line had been damaged and Atmos turned it off and locked the meter. Richard arranged for a team to show up at 6:30 in the morning, pulled the permit and had it repaired before lunch. Charges were reasonable, service was excellent and follow up was thorough.

We recently had Tribeca replace our 1960s home's cast iron plumbing system with PVC. We weren't sure at first that our home actually needed new pipes, so we had 3 other plumbing companies come out for an assessment, and they were all too lazy to do any thorough testing, quickly jumping to a sales pitch on full replacement. Tribeca was the last company to come out, and I was very impressed with Jay. He ran a camera as well as isolated the pipes under my house for a hydrostatic test to confirm that we had some major leaks. The following day, I decided to move forward with the work, and they had men working at my house with 12 hours. It took them in total about 4 days to trench under the house, replace the pipes, complete a city inspection, and backfill the trench, all while only leaving us without water only for a couple hours. Their pricing was the best out of any of the bids I got as well, 7K lower than the most expensive bid we received. I highly recommend them for any major plumbing work.

They came to my residence within an hour. Replace part that controlled water flow in 10 minutes. Price reasonable. Will use for next problem.

I can not say enough good things about these guys. Working in 100 degree plus heat they repaired a serious slab leak under my home. Jay and his team were transparent in their estimate and communication throughout the whole process. Highly recommend.

I discovered my main water supply line had a leak and called multiple companies. Tribeca came out verified the demage pipe and fixed the problem. Tribeca came in with the best bid to upgrade our home gas system to provide more pressure to run a pool heater.

Our work involved supplying and installing gas regulators, adding hard pipe and fixing gas fittings that were bodged from a previous company.

They got us through the gas inspection and handled all city permits and follow thought.

They work fast, used overshoes in the house, left the work areas tidy and always tried to make sure we didn’t go without gas too long (which is important because we have little kids that need daily baths).

Had a valve fail on a tankless water heater. Called Tribeca and they were out within an hour. Super responsive, professional and replaced the valve in a short amount of time. Will definitely call them again for plumbing work.

Plumber was contracted to perform all of the repair work that was found during the inspection of our house prior to purchase. Before closing, they came out and ran a camera through all of our plumbing to make sure that what was underneath the house was move in ready.

They were scheduled at 10am, they showed 15 minutes before 10am and was ready to go. Older house was purchased and the line at the meter was broken. They contacted the City of Dallas to initiate repairs. Once that issue was out of the way Jerrod and his team completed all of the tasks that were needed. During the repairs they did identify one other unknown issue. It was repaired at a reasonable price above what our initial quote was. The repair was justified and not a “oh we found a problem, let me charge you through the nose.”

A few days later I asked them to come out to check something else out that was found after the fact. This round they sent their master plumber after hours to make sure that we were taken care of.

Tribeca is a small local company and still by far more reasonable than most commercial companies. Plus you get the local service that used to be common place. Our house was built in the 50’s and we still have cast iron under ground. They could have sold us a re-pipe at $40,000 and we wouldn’t have been the wiser. They allowed and wanted me to stay behind the camera so I could see the condition. They explained the process as they were going through the exam. Said the cast iron looks good, and we should be good to go and then educated me on how to make sure our cast iron stays fit.

Chances are, I will always call on them first to take care of our plumbing needs. Actually, it will happen sooner than I think, we need a new ice maker line, because it was located UNDER The house.

Back in December I had a serious emergency. I had a pipe burst in the middle of the night while I was away on a business trip. I called 30 different plumbers and Tribeca was the only one who called me back ASAP. Not only did they call me back right away, they were also on location immediately to help stop the leak and mitigate any further damage. Richard and his team did a great job getting my house put back together. Not only did they repair my house and make it better but they also provided a much needed and necessary resource to help me deal with my home insurance claim. I will be using Tribeca for all my future repairs and needs.

Called this company to fix a shower issue I had. They did fix the issue, I paid $500 but left me with another problem THAT WASNT THERE BEFORE. Instead of exemplifying good customer service, they wanted to charge me another $200 to come back out to fix the leak that was caused. I expressed to them that it wasn’t fair that I had to be charged again, on top of the $500 I already paid, for a problem that they caused. We suggested that Tribeca covers half ($100). They then came back again to only offer $182, saying they agreed to go half of what they were charging. $182 is not half of $200. The technician, receptionist and owner were not on the same page and kept giving out different quotes for parts & labor.

After explaining to the owner all of this, he continued to still offered me pay $182. He didn’t acknowledge my experience & proceeded to believe I was wrong. I declined the offer & will not be using them again. I will also not recommend anybody to use them as they are more concerned about money than helping customers plumbing issues

Edit: it’s unfortunate that I can’t respond to the owners allegations. He is continuing to LIE. Technician Donnie looked at both my bathrooms, hot water was fixed but popping noise was not. It’s a shame that the company is operating like this. Donnie couldn’t even figure out why the popping noise was there.
I also REPEATEDLY told the owner I wanted to be charge HALF of the quote. Half of $200 is not free. One lie after another! I stated I was leaving a bad review because he was trying to charge me for an issue his technician created. You receive bad reviews when you give terrible service. There are many other plumbing companies I’d rather give my money to who are honest & professional. As a customer, he truly did not have my best interest at heart

What a great experience! We had major plumbing issues which required a major repair, tunneling under the slab and a substantial amount of knowledge from Tribeca to do it properly.

The plumbers got straight to work and fixed my clog while telling me exactly what was going on. They helped me with a leak that I had not even planned when I called. I believe other plumbers try to overcharge you and give you the run around. But these were two honest knowledgeable plumbers.

Came to check out an issue, could not fix it and still charged me $325 😞

They charged $200 for less than 1hour of work without replacing equipment. That’s on top of the $125 service call charge so it was $325 for something I could’ve probably done myself but as this was a rental property and I was out of town, I had to have someone tend to it fast. I do not recommend Tribeca and will not be using them in the future unless they make it right. It was not a fair deal. All that to say they did get the work done in a timely manner but it not for a fair price.

Our kitchen sink was clogged so I called Tribeca. They sent Jay over within 1.5 hours (super quick!). He was amazing and unclogged the line in less than 5 minutes. He explained the process and even gave us a free bottle of stuff to pour down the sink every few months to prevent clogs in the future. Would definitely recommend this company!!

In midst of installation of fixed natural gas generator, the installation crew (not this firm) fractured a pipe buried in the lawn. I called multiple plumbing firms who refused the job. Rate a 0 for worst customer handling possible. Performed one test, charged $350 for test, paid for camera pics but never provided pictures despite being paid. Very rude, angry, threatening.

Company replied to this as if they did nothing wrong. They actually called me a liar, threatened to take me to small claims court for disputing their 2nd $350 charge. Owner refused to return $ and refused to provide pics. Their reply below on wanting to handle this, is not an honest reply. I got 2 other quotes for the same job. Tribeca quoted $7000, 2nd quote was $5000, 3rd quote was $3500, HALF what Tribeca quoted. That along with the horrible attitude of the person handling business is enough reason to keep scrolling. Reported to BBB also.
