Four guys and not a single person said hello or asked what help we needed. We walked the entire store, which isn’t big…. From tools to chemicals to toys. Everyone looked at us and not a word. We went to another store and bought what we needed. We will not be back.
My Polaris pool cleaner broke the other day. One of the wheels broke at the flange. I thought I had to buy a new one. They were way more than I expected. It came with the house, so I didn't know. Anyway, the sales person suggested a replacement part instead. Easy. 4 screws and $20 bucks vs $650. Nice. *I didn't catch the sales persons name, but she was about 5ft 4in and had short hair, almost a Mohawk. Receipt says Sydney. If that's you thanks! If not, Sydney, please pass on this review.
I thought my pool pump died because that’s what the crooks at Poolwerx told me. Poolwerx quoted me $2800 for a new pump. I went into Leslie’s on Forest Lane and they quoted me half the price for the same pump. But, after talking with one of their associates about the problem I was experiencing, he figured it was just an issue with the pool pump capacitor, which is a $46 fix. Sure enough, I replaced the capacitor and the pump started working like new again. He literally saved me $2750. Honesty is really hard to find these days so this is the store I will continue to use.
Just a heads up that even WITH a receipt, I was asked for my driver's license (?) to return an item I bought a 1/2 HR before, with the SAME cashier. Was NOT asked for ID when purchasing with a credit card, and it felt totally unnecessary. When I asked about the hassle (I had the receipt AND the credit card) was told it is policy & they had to confirm I was the same person. Felt unnecessary. Leslie's needs to catch up to the 21st century & I won't be going back again. ☹️
Called twice starting at 5:50PM (store closes at 6) and no one would answer the phone.
Decent place to get everything needed for home pools. Convenient, Great hours availability. It is a little higher priced than mass merchant stores but pay for proximity and convenience -- it's worth it.
Their Pool School was okay and did learn a little more.
Craig, the store manager, reminds me of Jim Cramer. A good thing ! Helpful, knowledgeable, and I have thought friendly enough. Of course, like most retail stores, this is not a "bartering open air market" so take your coupons and special advertisements in with you when they're offered.. and one should not expect to "barter" for additional discounts like you're coming in from the backwood roads -- cheap cheap cheap !
Bad customer service. Been shopping here for years. Tried to return a broken pool brush I bought a month ago and they won't return because it's past 14 days. I need my equipment to last longer than that, it was clearly a bad piece of plastic now it's just junk. Will be taking my business to Dolphin Pool Supply from now on.
Nick and his staff do a great job with customer service and Polaris repair. Really appreciate all the help. Keep up the good work!

I needed a part for my pool pump quickly. Leslies had it. Afterwards I checked Amazon. The identical part on Amazon was 50% less. Leslie $100. Amazon $50. Consumer beware.
Help not so good.
Quick service pool test, all I needed and people there are quite friendly.
Very nice and helpful
Excellent help and attitude on the phone.
They really do know pools and pool equipment, though they are incredibly overpriced. I got the same cartridge filters from Amazon at half the cost.
Always ready to help always have what I need in stock

I had a really bad shopping experience at this store. The store manager, Craig, was really mean and rude. He yelled at me when I ask discounts for chlorine and shock. Will never go back there unless Leslie install someone with proper customer service training in place.
